HAPPY HOLIDAYS , FROM LONG’S

At Long’s, we like to say we never stand still. On our mission to spread joy and help New Englanders celebrate every milestone, we also remain committed to evolution and growth. Why? Because we know that your expectations as valued Long’s customers will change with time — and while we embrace the traditions that define who we are, innovation is very much part of our DNA too. True to this philosophy, this was a year of tremendous transformation here at Long’s, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to recognize and celebrate some of these accomplishments here. This holiday season, you’ll find us in a brand-new home in the heart of Boston at 7 Newbury Street — a familiar location just across from our Rolex Boutique. The spectacular new retail space occupies two floors, with a Patek Philippe showroom at street level and a curated collection of the world’s most sought-after jewelry and designers in a stunning and modern space upstairs. We are so excited to welcome customers to this luxury row shopping destination in time for the holidays. In the meantime, you can learn more on Page 12. Speaking of new spaces, have you visited our new Braintree store? After more than 60 wonderful years in the South Shore Plaza, we finally closed the doors to our last mall location in favor of a beautiful and long-anticipated freestanding establishment just down the road. Our new Braintree store is a sight to behold, showcasing an array of immersive and intimate experiences designed to fulfill your every shopping need. If you haven’t stopped by yet, we hope to see you in our new South Shore home soon — whether you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift, hoping to sell/trade-in a watch or piece of jewelry, or simply shopping for yourself. Check out Page 17 for more photos and details. We rolled out a brand-new campaign this fall, too: Long Live Love, because believing in love and life well-lived is what we’re all about. Discover this exciting creative expression of our brand starting on Page 44. It wasn’t just about new beginnings, either. It has been an absolute pleasure this year to reintroduce some of our favorite, most-cherished, and downright fun in-store events, from in-person trunk shows to the return of Wedding Band Weekend. It brought us tremendous delight to see so many New England couples once again join us for what’s widely considered to be the biggest and best wedding band event in the country. We know what an honor it is to share in such an important part of our customers’ lives, and we don’t take that privilege lightly. All of that’s to say that 2023 has been a spectacular, transformative year, and from the bottom of our hearts, we can’t thank you enough for your continued support. So, long live change. Long live health. Long live joy. And above all, long live love.

With gratitude,

Your friends at Long’s Jewelers

7 NEWBURYST. A New Boutique from Long’s Jewelers

There’s something new and exciting on Newbury Street — and with the holiday season well underway, it couldn’t come at a better time! Just two years after opening the doors to our Rolex boutique, we are thrilled to expand our Luxury Row footprint with a magnificent new two-story retail destination in the heart of one of the most prestigious shopping hubs of Boston. The spacious boutique, which is located at 7 Newbury Street, occupies more than 4,600 square feet of retail shopping space and offers an entirely new concept for us at Long’s, merging our long-standing traditional approach to retail with world-class luxury hospitality. In addition to a phenomenal assortment of highly sought-after jewelry and timepieces from top designers, customers can also enjoy a plethora of immersive experiences in a comfortable and open environment. BOSTON’S ONLY PATEK PHILIPPE SHOWROOM The first floor of our Newbury establishment is entirely dedicated to Patek Philippe, reintroducing one of the most remarkable and respected Swiss watchmakers to Boston’s Back Bay. “Newbury Street has

always been a Boston destination, but the first block in particular — between Arlington and Berkeley — has become the city’s ultimate luxury shopping destination,” says Long’s president Craig Rottenberg. “That’s why we built our Rolex boutique there, and that’s why Long’s and Patek Philippe agreed that our new store together needed to be there as well.” As family-owned companies with deep historical roots, both Long’s and Patek Philippe are known for upholding traditions of excellence, innovation and unparalleled customer service, making this a brand we are incredibly proud to partner with. “We are delighted to begin a new partnership with Long’s Jewelers and expand Patek Philippe’s presence to Boston’s Newbury Street,” says Lisa Jones, president of Patek Philippe USA. “Boston has always been an important market for timepieces, and we are confident in Long’s ability to represent Patek Philippe at the highest level, while providing an exemplary and personalized customer experience to local clientele. We look forward to inviting customers to explore our fine Swiss mechanical timepieces through the knowledge and passion of Long’s Jewelers.”

Just in time for the holiday season, we’re delighted to welcome customers throughout New England to our second Luxury Row boutique. With two floors, private suites, a roof deck, and one of the largest Patek Philippe showrooms in the country, Newbury’s newest luxury shopping destination is perfectly suited for those in search of world-class jewelry and timepieces. We can’t wait for you to see it.

ALL THAT GLITTERS Just steps away from our Patek Philippe showroom, customers will have access to the best of what Long’s has to offer in jewelry — from the latest in fashion and trend to classics, one-of-a-kind rarities, and of course, engagement and diamond rings. In addition to a stunning array of product from both new and beloved designers, we’ve also created comfortable areas throughout the store in which to shop. For those customers looking for a more intimate experience, we invite you to explore our curated collections with a delightful cup of coffee or glass of champagne in hand. In an age when the shopping journey is as important as the destination itself, we’re very much excited to bring to Boston a luxury establishment that’s equal parts elevated and welcoming. After all, approachable, warm luxury is the Long’s way. “Longtime Long’s friends and customers will feel at home and recognize the same approach to being your jewelers,” Rottenberg adds. “However, the space itself, coupled with the most exquisite selection of jewelry and timepieces, are unlike anything we’ve offered in our past. It is a fresh and new perspective on Boston luxury!” THE START OF SOMETHING NEW As a family-owned heritage brand, Long’s has continued to evolve our legacy over the past 145 years. We remain steadfast, however, to our core values. As New England’s premier destination for fine jewelry and timepieces, we are committed to providing only the highest quality products and uncompromising service at the best possible value. Our newest location honors that tradition, while also providing exceptional experiences that are both exciting and new.

“WE’RE OVERJOYED TO PRESENT OUR NEWEST LOCATION. WHETHER YOU’VE COME TO VIEW DISTINGUISHED TIMEPIECES CREATED BY PATEK PHILIPPE OR TO DISCOVER RARE, SPECTACULAR PIECES IN OUR BOUTIQUE UPSTAIRS, CUSTOMERS CAN EXPECT A UNIQUE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, EXCITEMENT,

AND INSPIRATON. THIS DREAM HAS BEEN DECADES IN THE MAKING, AND WE CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE IT WITH THE PEOPLE OF BOSTON AND NEW ENGLAND!”

T he luxury shopping standard has changed in recent years. While customers certainly expect elevated and immersive ways in which to experience and engage with fine jewelry and watches, warmth, comfort, and hospitality are of equal importance today. It is in this spirit that we at Long’s Jewelers are excited to share the official opening of a long-anticipated freestanding store in Braintree, just down the road from the South Shore Plaza, where we had a wonderful run of more than 60 years. The 11,000-square-foot showroom is a jewelry and watch wonderland, filled with an exquisite exhibition of curated pieces from around the globe. It is set up to accommodate an array of shopping needs, from a casual, brief visit to a full immersion in the history

For privacy, there are several dedicated spaces in the store for personal consultations, where guests can shop for engagement rings, wedding bands, and other treasures in a more personal and intimate setting. There are several integrated spaces dedicated to some of the world’s top brands, including Rolex, Tudor, David Yurman, Mikimoto, and Grand Seiko. In them, you will find a trove of exclusive boutique pieces and limited editions that are allotted to only a few elite stores around the world.

“Long’s has been a mainstay in Braintree since the 1960s,” says Craig Rottenberg, president of Long’s Jewelers. “We were honored to be named “Best of Boston” by Boston Magazine, once again this year, and we are excited to bring a new level of approachable luxury to the South Shore. This new store represents a culmination of everything we’ve learned since we started in this business, and it will be something unique to the market,” he says. With six stores throughout New England, we’re incredibly excited to expand upon our award-winning reputation, and we truly believe that this stunning new South Shore establishment will ultimately set an entirely new luxury shopping standard.

RARE +

REMARKABLE In the world of luxury jewelry, Long’s has built an unmatched reputation for sourcing the world’s finest and most highly sought diamonds and gemstones. Equally important to the rarity, quality, and beauty of our offering is the emphasis that we place on knowledge and education, ensuring that behind every luxury purchase is an understanding of and appreciation for the materials and design. Come along as we highlight some of our most spectacular diamond and gemstone jewelry for the season, radiating beauty and sophistication to fulfill your wildest dreams – and jewelry collections.

ANYTHING BUT BLACK AND WHITE In the luminous realm of gemstones, color reigns supreme, and our collections are a testament to this truth. For Massachusetts native Emily P. Wheeler, luxury is found in bold colors and unexpected compositions. Her rainbow drop necklace, which can be found in her high jewelry collection, achieves that and more with a cascade of unheated sapphires in every hue. Dangling with multi- shaped, certified sapphires, this necklace tells a vivid tale, made even more captivating by the fact that it is one-of-a-kind. Also showcased is a three stone vivid yellow diamond ring from Rahaminov Diamonds — a family owned brand known for their beautifully cut rare diamonds.

I n the glistening world of fine jewelry, particular designers stand apart, not just for the brilliance of their pieces but for the richness of the stories they tell. Known for infusing the depth of the past with the passions of the present, Erica Molinari is a creator who embodies this storytelling spirit in a blend. Innovative and thoughtful, Erica Molinari’s collections strike emotional chords with symbolic and meaningful messages. Do Good

D id you know your natural diamond purchase positively impacts people across the world? Natural diamonds support the livelihoods of more than 10 million people along the entire journey these miracles of nature take, from their discovery to becoming beautiful jewelry to treasure and pass on to future gen- erations. This journey translates to jobs, food on the table, access to education and healthcare for the communities touched by natural diamonds. Diamonds Do Good is a global grant-giving nonprofit organization whose mission supports life-changing programs in natural diamond communities and shares these stories of real people and real impact.

“SUPPORTING INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURS LIKE

TSHIRELETSO, AND PASSIONATE STUDENTS LIKE TRISA, HELP GUIDE THESES INNOVATIVE MINDS TOWARD SUPPORTING THEIR COMMUNITIES AND TRANSFORMING THE WORLD FOR GOOD. THAT IS THE CORE OF DIAMONDS DO GOOD’S MISSION.”

MEET TSHIRELETSO Tshireletso is an agricultural-entrepreneur living in a village in Botswana — the largest producer of natural diamonds in the world. Botswana’s food supply relies on local farmers to augment the availability of fresh fruits and vegetables for their citizens. In 2022, Tshireletso’s business, Erba Farms, was struggling, operating from a garden in her parent’s backyard to supply herbs and produce to one local grocery store. After receiving a Diamonds Do Good Grant to help advance her business, Tshireletso was able to purchase five hectares of land, hired four full-time employees, is currently supplying 17 different stores across Botswana with herbs and produce including cilantro, kale, spinach and thyme, and is in the final negotiations to operate in the largest grocery store chain across the country.

MEET TRISA Trisa Ngo grew up in the Northwest Territories of Canada, the third largest producer of natural diamonds, with a population of about 20,000 people. Trisa’s love and gratitude for the north inspired her to graduate from Dalhousie University with a degree in environmental science. During her undergraduate years, Trisa worked at the Ekati diamond mine as an environmental studies student where she conducted hydrology work, wildlife monitoring and water sampling — all activities that are necessary and crucial in order to allow the mine to continue operations and to preserve the environment. After receiving a Diamonds Do Good Grant, Trisa was able to continue her studies in resource, environment, and sustainability and affirms, “Diamonds have played a significant role in my life by shaping my career and by significantly contributing to the socio-economic state of the Northwest Territories.”

The magic of jewelry offers endless avenues to match the unique sensibilities of those we hold dear. Then, some perceive jewelry as art, seeing a wearable masterpiece in every curve, setting, and stone — a collectible symphony of design and emotion. THIS HOLIDAY SEASON , let us be your source of timeless tokens for everyone on your list.

Jewelry as Art Nestled among iconic works of art at the Louvre Museum in Paris is a private collection of fine jewels. responsible luxury. At Long’s, we take pride in aligning ourselves with such transformative ventures. Not only do we showcase these ethereal diamonds, but every stone that requires re-crafting is meticulously shaped in the very workshops that Kalahari supports, further cementing our commitment. In many ways, this is a narrative of mindful luxury. These pieces, while dazzling, prioritize purpose as much as opulence. They beckon to those whose hearts resonate with the symphony of sustainability and refined elegance.

important shifts we’ve seen in recent years is the rise in demand for responsibly sourced materials in fashion and jewelry. When gifting this holiday season, there will be many on your list who value brands that demonstrate a commitment to ethical practices. Brands and designers who provide transparency around their production practices make it that much easier for us to determine where to invest this season. Kalahari Dream Diamonds, for instance, aren’t merely stones; they’re emblems of change and empowerment radiating from the heart of Botswana. This diamond’s journey, from its ethical excavation to its brilliant cut, is a testament to the promise of

Quiet Luxury

Quiet luxury is a concept that represents a refined and understated approach to finer things. It revolves around the idea that true sophistication does not require flashy displays of wealth or excessive ornamentation. Instead, quiet luxury focuses on subtle details, craftsmanship, and quality materials to create a sense of exclusivity and timeless appeal.

We’ve curated these pieces for those who are looking to tell stories through simplicity. Whether it’s Eclat’s platinum Burmese sapphire and diamond bead necklace fastened with a pavé diamond clasp, Long’s Signature platinum and 18K handmade three-stone “Pigeon Blood” ruby ring, or an 18K white gold brilliant cut diamond line necklace, our quietly luxurious pieces speak to those with the most delicate of tastes.

QUIET LUXURY IS NOT MERELY A TREND EITHER; IT’S A SHIFT IN MINDSET TOWARDS MINDFUL AND CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION, WHERE MEANING AND CRAFTSMANSHIP TRUMP MATERIAL EXCESS. EYE THESE DESIGNS FOR ELEVATED PIECES THAT STILL MAINTAIN A FOCUS ON MINIMALISM.

LONG live LOVE.

A t Long’s, we’ve been cheering on couples in love for more than a century. We just love good love stories — in fact, it’s what motivates us every day! That’s why we’re so excited to share our new engagement campaign with you. It launched this fall, and it’s called Long Live Love. And trust us — we mean it! Because as New England’s premier engagement and wed- ding jeweler, believing in and celebrating love is ultimately what we do. On a beautiful day in late summer, our team participated in a special creative pro- duction along the New England coastline

designed to capture the unique language that only a couple in love can share. A secret hand- shake. An inside joke. A stolen moment. The look of pure, unfiltered joy. It was important to us for each moment to be genuine, which isn’t usually the case in advertisements we see every day. For that reason, we featured real couples sharing in real moments — true and authentic expressions of head-over-heels love. You may have seen the video come up on YouTube or while stream- ing your favorite show. Or perhaps you’ve seen ads while browsing online or walking around Boston.

If you haven’t watched it yet, we invite you to scan the QR code below so you can check out our official video. To accompany this amazing photoshoot, we also partnered with select engagement ring and wedding band designers on collaborative ads for the holiday season. Each one was de- signed to communicate what makes their rings so remarkable. You can discover these in the next few pages.

Yet, no matter how diverse or expansive this collection becomes, certain core tenets remain unwavering — our commitment to using the finest materials, an unyielding standard of quality, and an undying quest for beauty and value. “We’ve had decades to evolve our standards for design and quality,” Cronin said. “Although we are a local brand, we carry ourselves at a higher standard than you would typically expect from a global brand in our industry.” Here, you’ll find more than trends and trinkets. THE RISE OF ESTATE PRE-OWNED JEWELRY + WATCHES T here’s something inherently captivating about estate jewelry. Laden with history, these unique pieces offer a glimpse into the past and a sustainable approach to fashion’s future. The timeless beauty of estate jewelry, in addition to its nostalgic allure and environmental benefits, makes it an increasingly popular choice for discerning individuals. Estate jewelry carries a sense of romance and sentimentality, evoking memories of bygone eras. Each piece tells a story, reflecting its time’s artistic and cultural trends, further adding to the charm. Whether it’s an Art Deco cocktail ring, an elegant Victorian brooch, or a signed style from your favorite brand, the perfect pre-owned pieces of jewelry provide a tangible connection to what once was, infusing a touch of material magic into your style.

Historical Treasures In the dazzling realm of estate jewelry, those pieces considered vintage are akin to time capsules, capturing the essence of decades past. When you fasten on an Edwardian brooch from our collection, you’re not just wearing a piece of jewelry; you’re donning a slice of history. These meticulously crafted items are museum-worthy creations, often made using materials, techniques, and designs that offer a window into the social and cultural contexts of their time. “The level of craftsmanship that’s typical of vintage pieces is truly superb,” adds Long’s estate jewelry buyer Julie Khouri. “Better yet, many of these pieces are one-of-a-kind. Buying a piece of vintage jewelry is a great way to add something that’s totally unique to your collection.” Yet it’s not just about intellectual enrichment; it’s about emotional connection, too. These jewels often commemorated significant life events for their original owners — milestones that imbued each piece with a deeply personal resonance. With that in mind, period pieces aren’t merely accessories; they’re tactile stories. And they’re waiting to write their next chapter — this time, through you.

Iconic Emblems The historical value of estate and pre-owned jewelry is also evident when it comes to signed and designer styles — many pieces that are often retired, becoming unavailable over time. Branded signatures act as seals of craftsmanship and authenticity, amplifying the value of each piece. This fact only adds to the enthralling heritage of each embellishment. Julie explains, “Many of these signed pieces hold their value over time — even as they are passed down through generations.” Over the last year, the acquisition of signed jewelry has been a top priority for our estate team at Long’s. Spend time browsing our collection, and you’ll discover an endless pipeline of signed pre-owned pieces from the likes of Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Boucheron, and many others. “Our highly trained staff can help you build a collection of these iconic and bold statement pieces,” Julie adds. “We are quite literally adding new pieces to our collection every day.” Beyond its sentimental value, signed estate jewelry champions the cause of sustainability. “Adding pre-owned pieces to your jewelry wardrobe reduces the environmental impact of the mining and extraction processes necessary to create new jewelry,” Julie explains. “By choosing estate jewelry, you ensure that beautiful creations from the past continue to be appreciated and enjoyed for generations to come.”
