A
s many of you know, Kiefer Jewelers has been a part of your community since 1957, originally opening its doors as Village Jewel in downtown Dade City. Then, in 1997, David and Wendy Hevia took the helm, acquiring the store from its original founders, Al and Margaret Kiefer. We were committed to honoring their legacy and chose to rename the store Kiefer Village Jewels, which eventually became the Kiefer Jewelers you know and love today. Over the years, we’ve been thrilled to grow along with you. In 2002, we branched out to Lutz, Florida, and by 2006, upgraded the Lutz location to a standalone, state-of-the-art facility. We took another significant step in 2008 by becoming an Authorized Rolex Dealer, and we even added a dedicated Rolex Corner to our showroom in 2016. Family remains at the heart of our business. Our daughter Alex Hevia Schlindwein rejoined us in 2014 and now serves as the company’s Marketing Director. Alex wears many hats but she loves putting that personal touch on all of our marketing communications and our image in the community. We’ve also made several exciting changes recently. Our Dade City store has undergone both internal and external renovations, and we’ve introduced an estate jewelry boutique, adding a touch of vintage charm. Over in Lutz, we’ve installed a new wall feature and revamped the space previously occupied by Pandora into a more functional cash wrap area.

But that’s not all. We’ve unveiled more luxurious packaging to make your intimate purchases feel even more special. New collections have been introduced, too. The Vahan and Kendra Scott collections now grace our Lutz store, while we’ve expanded our offerings of the Shy and Mfit/My Caroline collections in Dade City. We also have the exclusive Dilamani collection in Lutz and have launched our own private-label wedding band collection, which we can’t wait to show you! Finally, even our team has grown. We’ve recently welcomed a new jeweler and apprentice jeweler, a buyer, and several new salespeople to help guide you through your jewelry journey. A t its launch in 1956, the Day-Date was a major innovation: it was the first calendar wristwatch to indicate, in addition to the date, the day of the week spelt out in full in an arc-shaped window at 12 o’clock on the dial — a technical feat at the time. Made exclusively of precious metals — 18 k yellow, white, or Everose gold or 950 platinum – and accompanied by its emblematic President bracelet, its multiple dials make it the ideal canvas for self-expression.

THE DAY-DATE SPEAKS ITS WEARER’S LANGUAGE
Although the days may be the same wherever you are in the world, they are written differently depending on the language. Using most writing systems — Latin, Arabic, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese ideograms, and even the Ge’ez alphasyllabary used in the Horn of Africa – the Day-Date expresses the cultural identity of its wearer. Available in a choice of 26 languages, it is a truly international, universal, and personal watch. THE MIRACLE OF MIDNIGHT: AN IDEAL OF PRECISION When midnight strikes, the day and date simultaneously change in their respective windows on the dial. This watchmaking feat, the “miracle of midnight,” relies on a disc mechanism. FELIX ROQUE Master Jeweler Felix is one of the most renowned jewelers in the Tampa Bay Area. He is known for being so friendly and easy to work with. He has been working for Kiefer Jewelers since 2016. LAUREN SEIDEL Assistant Manager- in-Training Lauren Seidel started working at Kiefer Jewelers in October of 2019. She loves all things jewelry, but her favorite thing about the industry is that it’s constantly changing!
MONIQUE TAPANES Graduate Gemologist Monique has been working for Kiefer Jewelers since 2021. Her favorite part of working in the jewelry industry is being a part of special occasions and helping her clients find that special heirloom. BRITTANY GRINER Store Manager Brittany has been with Kiefer Jewelers since 2010! MELISSA APONTE Sales Associate Melissa started at Kiefers in 2023 as a new career change, she originally went to school and became certified to coordinate weddings and events and always loved the idea of being able to help with the special moments in people’s lives.
MATT JIMENEZ Apprentice Jeweler & Watchmaker Matt started working for Kiefer Jewelers in August of 2020 as the Store Support Associate and Watchmaker.
KAYLA MCLAUGHLIN Buyer Kayla worked for Kiefer Jewelers from 2010 to 2018 and then came back in November of 2022. Kayla also worked for other prestigious jewelers where she was able to further her knowledge of the jewelry industry. BRIANNA BREESE Sales Associate Brianna worked for Kiefers for about 2 years and left the company for a short while before returning to work in March of 2022. She loves having a good time and making people smile.

To start a layer, choose a center piece that anchors everything and then build the look around it. It could be a spectacular necklace, a bold ring, a watch, or a cuff bracelet. She said “I am much more than the bad thing that happened to me.” She went on to sing “It’s O.K.” and I recommend watching this performance if you haven’t seen it. She also

Her heart explodes with love as she gets to watch her baby grow and change. The days turn into months that turn into years that turn into decades, and now her baby is all grown up and out in the world on their own. But her child will always be a piece of her. This necklace represents this incredible bond between mother and child by allowing her to remove a 15” section of the chain, which is connected by magnets, to give to her child. This two-in-one necklace is meant to be shared, reminding each other of their magnetic eternal bond.”
