THE MANY FACETS OF HENRI DAUSSI A CUT ABOVE

H enri Daussi stands apart from other diamond jewelry designers in two ways: the company specializes in unusual, proprietary diamond cuts, and its roots in the diamond-cutting business date back nearly 100 years. The company was founded in 1932 in Antwerp, the center of the world’s diamond trade. Henri Daussi Loots learned diamond cutting from his father, Jozef Loots, who in turn inherited the skills from his father. Once Henri learned the trade, he began specializing in large and valuable diamonds, creating one-of-a-kind innovative proprietary cuts for engagement rings that reflect the inner beauty of each stone. Along the way, Henri designed a special diamond polishing wheel, called a scaif, which opened a new world for cutting different diamond shapes. Using this groundbreaking tool, he created the first perfect heart-shaped

diamond. Since diamonds are a symbol of love and commitment, his diamond heart became an international sensation. Daussi now specializes in cushion cuts set into a range of timeless ring styles, earrings, and pendants, all set with conflict- free, expertly cut diamonds, including white, black, and yellow fancy diamonds, blue and pink sapphires, and rubies. The company’s artisans use modern technology coupled with old world craftsmanship

to ensure that each piece reflects the quality that Daussi is known for, with the kind of precise cuts that bring out the true glory of each diamond.

Henri Daussi facets only the finest diamonds. His ring styles often combine diamonds with colored gems.

Today, under the leadership of Henri’s grandson Jeff Loots, the family brand continues to provide customers with exceptional diamonds and diamond jewelry of unsurpassed quality and craftsmanship. “Our family tradition of cutting beautiful diamonds and creating incredible jewels will forever keep true to its heritage,”

says Jeff. “We are humbled and honored that our Daussi creations go on to be enjoyed and cherished by generations of families. We respect this opportunity and will never compromise on our commitment to quality, responsibility, and integrity,” he says.
