CLOUD GATE Perhaps one of the most iconic structures in all of Chicago, Cloud Gates rests inside the 24.5- acre roof-top garden known as Millennium Park. Designed by world-renowned artist Anish Kapoor, Cloud Gate (aka the Chicago Bean) comprises 168 stainless-steel plates, weighs 110 tons, and attracts millions of tourists annually. It’s a popular spot for both tourists and residents alike. Coincidentally, the diamond line bracelet has been a crowd-pleasing favorite for decades. Ever since Chrissy Evert nicknamed it her “tennis bracelet,” these diamond adornments have been a classic gift for nearly every occasion. Now the line necklace is taking center stage!

No longer reserved for special events, diamond line necklaces are a complimentary piece, mixing and matching with your other favorite necklaces. With diamonds all the way around, it’s guaranteed to shine brighter than your reflection of Chicago’s Bean. But talk about smooth lines! Chicago’s Bean may be comprised of steel plates, but there’s no sharp corner to find — much like oval diamonds. The oval diamond cut creates a smooth finish that appears visually larger than a brilliant round diamond with the same carat weight. Oval cut diamonds are indeed masterpieces of illusion, much like many of Chicago’s famous sculptures and buildings.

The sculpture is commonly referred to as the Chicago Bean and is one of the world’s largest permanent outdoor art installations. The monumental work was unveiled in 2004 and quickly became of the Chicago’s most iconic sights. It was designed by internationally acclaimed artist, Anish Kapoor.
