HAPPILY EVER AFTER

The Rise Individual of
Style
For generations, engagement rings followed a familiar blueprint: a round brilliant diamond, a solitaire setting, and a precious metal band. The formula was so consistent it became shorthand for what an engagement ring “should” look like. While those classic styles remain part of the landscape, they no longer define it. Increasingly, couples are approaching rings as something more personal. That shift reflects a broader change in how jewelry is worn and understood. Rings are chosen less by convention and more by how they fit the life and style of the person wearing them.
Diamond shape is often where the shift shows up first. Fancy shapes are everywhere right now, as buyers look beyond the traditional round for diamonds with a little more character. Ovals and elongated cushions continue to lead the way, joined by pears, marquises, emerald shapes, and radiants. There’s also more interest in shapes that feel a bit unexpected. Hexagons, shields, and other geometric shapes offer something different, while elongated shapes can make a diamond appear larger on the hand. With so many options to choose from, shape itself has become one of the easiest ways to make an engagement ring feel personal.
