TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS,

As we look back on this past year, we are filled with gratitude for our customers, our community, and the many moments we’ve been able to share together. It was a record-setting year for our Pray for Rain promotion, BC Clark’s cherished tradition that surprises engaged couples with a little extra joy on their wedding day. This year, we are proud to celebrate our highest payout ever , making it our most impactful year yet. Witnessing so many couples start their marriages with this special blessing from Mother Nature is a joy we treasure, and it’s a reminder of how meaningful traditions can create lasting memories.

This year has also been a special one for our own family. We’ve celebrated milestones, including weddings, new chapters in college, and the everyday joys that remind us why family is at the heart of everything we do. Just as jewelry marks life’s most meaningful moments, these milestones remind us of the traditions and values that have guided BC Clark for more than 130 years. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your stories, year after year. It is an honor to celebrate these special moments with you and we look forward to many more in the years ahead.

With gratitude,

The right piece of jewelry can make you feel like conquering the world. That’s because looking fresh , new, and right on trend is intoxicating. And the best part? Fine jewelry trends aren’t fast fashion designs — they’re built to last.

setters Made from quality materials and with the finest craftsmanship, this year’s trends will leave you feeling bold. So go ahead — be noticed, be on trend. Your jewelry box will thank you later.

chic

The 1980s are back, but with sophisticated restraint. Today’s designers capture the decade’s fearless spirit — geometric shapes, statement proportions, unapologetic glamour — while adding modern elegance and refined craftsmanship. Bold doesn’t mean brash; it means confidence refined through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that feel both nostalgic and completely now. These aren’t costume jewelry throwbacks — they’re investment pieces that honor the past while looking firmly toward the future.

Penny Preville OF DAZZLING DESIGN FIVE DECADES

Fifty years ago, Penny Preville set out to create jewelry that speaks directly to the modern woman, giving her space for self-expression while adorning jewelry that feels like art. From her early days of beadwork and feathers to her latest high-jewelry masterpieces, Penny has remained at the forefront of innovation, elegance, and emotional resonance.

At the center of this golden anniversary is the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Bangle: fifty individually numbered bangles in lustrous 18K gold, each personally signed by Penny and adorned with a constellation motif of brilliant-cut diamonds. Already honored with the 2025 Jose Hess Design Award, this heirloom- worthy cuff captures the very essence of her half-century of legacy.

Building on her passion for architectural symmetry, the Deco Suite reimagines Art Deco glamour with a two-tiered diamond choker and detachable pendant that seamlessly transitions from grand soirées to modern-day wear. In contrast, the Goddess Suite drapes white gold and diamonds in fluid,

bohemian romance, featuring pieces that

cascade like liquid light, created for the woman who moves through the world with effortless grace.

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS WITH A TWIST

F

For a quarter of a century, nestled in the hills of Vicenza, craftsmanship and creativity have intertwined, whispering contemporary elegance, dancing with light to capture timeless beauty. Marco Bicego has always interpreted this through a modern language that resonates with today’s woman. His pieces are wearable constellations, born from the alchemy of blending age-old techniques with innovative vision, creating an unmistakable aesthetic signature.

The brand’s most anticipated launch of its 25th anniversary year — Lunaria Twist — offers a modern play on a classic style. Delicate and alluring in its shapes, the collection is a contemporary marvel in its craftsmanship technique. Right before completion, the gold leaf is gently twisted, differentiating it from

other Lunaria styles. Just as its curved leaves brilliantly capture and reflect light, the collection itself is a luminous tribute to the past 25 years, while embracing an inspired vision for the future.

16 | BC CLARK MAGAZINE

Much like a composer, Marco crafts symphonies using both traditional and modern instruments, attuned to contemporary sensibilities. His remarkable feel for color mirrors that of a painter who selects each shade with deliberate care, knowing every hue tells its own unique story. These are emotions that flow seamlessly into everyday life, brilliant personal journeys where materials reveal their distinct character through textures that speak of time and transformation — radiant fragments of eternity. When worn, these masterpieces remind us that true beauty holds something universal, touching the hearts of every generation. A quarter of a century marked by distinctive style, technical daring, and that irresistible Italian flair. Yesterday, today, always.

Bar Sen Chef Jeff Chanchaleune, two-time James Beard nominee, brings something new to OKC with Bar Sen, the city’s first Laotian noodle bar. Located in the Plaza District next to Ma Der Lao Kitchen, Bar Sen serves gluten-free noodles and his mom’s nostalgic khao piek sen, alongside Asian beers, sake, and craft cocktails. It was one of the year’s most anticipated openings, offering dishes unlike anything in town.

Tiny Bubbles Tiny Bubbles Wine Bar is an inviting little neighborhood spot in Northpark Mall. They are all about enjoying the simple pleasures of life — offering a carefully curated selection of wines that perfectly pair with their thin and crispy pizzas, Mediterranean-inspired shareables, and a funky cocktail list.

The concept quickly won over locals and visitors, earning its Edmond location a spot on Yelp’s “Best New Restaurants in the South” for 2024. Oklahomans are savoring every bite.

Andrew Black Executive Chef and Co-Owner

Chef Andrew Black — a 2023 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Southwest, and a 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Chef — is a chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur in Oklahoma City. Arriving in OKC 17 years ago after being hired by the historic Skirvin Hilton Hotel to open Park Avenue Grill and serve as its Executive Chef, Chef Black has made his home in the city as one of its leading small business owners and tastemakers with three acclaimed restaurants in the growing hospitality group he co-founded, Culinary Edge Concepts. They include inimitable fine dining venture Grey Sweater and trend-setting Black Walnut. He returned to The Skirvin Hilton Hotel to open his new restaurant Perle Mesta in June 2024. Perle Mesta offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner service and the cuisine reflects Chef Black’s continued exploration of what he calls “possibility cuisine,” a concept he attributes to his style of cooking that explores and embraces the endless possibilities of ingredients, flavors, techniques, and cultural influences. In this context, possibility cuisine involves chefs pushing the boundaries.

Jeff Chanchaleune Executive Chef and Co-Owner

Chef Jeff Chanchaleune, a 2023 and 2024 James Beard Foundation finalist for Best Chef: Southwest, has come full circle with his take on Lao cuisine. His restaurant, Ma Der Lao Kitchen, has been celebrated as one of the Top 50 Restaurants in America by both The New York Times and Bon Appétit. “Ma Der!” (ma-derr) is a Laotian phrase that means “come eat!” or “come through!” — an invitation that captures Jeff’s approach to food. Some of his fondest memories are of gatherings filled with family, friends, and tables of Lao dishes cooked by his mother, grandmothers, and father. Those flavors and techniques, rooted in heritage and love, continue to guide his cooking today. After years of working in Japanese cuisine in Portland and Chicago, Jeff returned to his hometown of Oklahoma City to cook the food he grew up with. At Ma Der Lao, located in the city’s Plaza District, he blends authenticity and creativity to share Lao culture through food. Beyond the kitchen, Jeff is a husband, father of two, avid traveler, and community leader. His concept, Bar Sen, named after the Lao word for “noodles,” is a lively half-bar, half-dining destination — a place for cocktails, appetizers, and comforting bowls of noodles, and another chapter in his mission to bring people together through the flavors of Laos.

golden year

JOHN HARDY MARKS 50 YEARS WITH BOLD NEW VISION FROM REED KRAKOFF

T

The Balinese-born brand celebrates its golden anniversary with heritage reissues, new stores, and a fresh creative direction.

This year marks half a century of John Hardy, which is a major milestone for the Bali- based jewelry house known for artisanal craftsmanship, cultural symbolism, and sustainability. Founded in 1975 by Canadian artist John Hardy, the brand gained recognition for its handwoven chains, mythological motifs, and commitment to community and

the environment. Now, under the creative leadership of Reed Krakoff, John Hardy enters a bold new chapter rooted in heritage but oriented firmly toward the future. To mark its five-decade legacy, the brand has launched two commemorative collections: Icon 50 and Spear 50. Icon 50 reimagines John Hardy’s beloved heritage chain as a modern

statement piece, available in sterling silver, gold, and pavé diamond variations. Spear 50 revisits one of Krakoff’s own designs from his early tenure at the house, embuing it with Balinese symbolism and a refined, sculptural aesthetic. Together, the collections reflect a brand at the crossroads of legacy and innovation.

48 | BC CLARK MAGAZINE

THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES WITH SPEAR SLIM, A CONTEMPORARY 4 MM CUFF DESIGNED FOR EFFORTLESS STACKING — A NOD TO THE BRAND’S ABILITY TO MEET MODERN STYLE PREFERENCES WHILE MAINTAINING ARTISANAL INTEGRITY.

Krakoff, who joined John Hardy as creative chairman in 2022, brings decades of industry experience and a minimalist eye honed at Coach and Tiffany & Co. Since taking the helm, he has introduced the high fine Artisan series, launched in fall 2024, showcasing rare diamonds and precious gemstones in 18K yellow and white gold. He’s also expanded existing collections like Surf, Pebble, and Love Knot, and ushered in collaborations with names including Athena Calderone (spring

2025), Todd Snyder, and Wölffer Estate. His approach has balanced reverence for traditional Balinese craftsmanship with a clean, contemporary design language, helping John Hardy reach new audiences while deepening loyalty among longtime fans. The anniversary coincides with physical expansion, including new retail locations at Rockefeller Center in New York and Miami’s Design District, both opened in late 2024. These flagship stores underscore the brand’s

growing luxury positioning, alongside a successful shop-in-shop at Saks Palm Beach Gardens and a robust wholesale presence. As John Hardy celebrates 50 years, it continues to honor the values on which it was founded — community, artisanship, and sustainability — while embracing change through visionary leadership. With Reed Krakoff steering the creative direction, the brand is poised not just to celebrate its past but to define the next era of modern jewelry design.

TIME ZONE

Women’s Watches TUDOR IN HER TIME:

Tudor may be best known for its vintage-inspired dive watches and chronographs for men, but the brand’s catalog includes plenty of appealing options for women as well. From dressy to sporty, classic to contemporary, Tudor has built a strong lineup of ladies’ timepieces that prioritize both design and everyday wearability.

What makes Tudor especially compelling for women is the brand’s ability to balance style with substance. These aren’t simply scaled-down versions of men’s models, but thoughtfully crafted watches that offer a range of case sizes, materials, and styles to suit a variety of tastes. The current women’s collection includes classic timepieces, daily watches, sporty numbers, dive models, and more — all mechanically sound, beautifully designed, and built for real-life wear.

Black Bay 54 Collection

50 | BC CLARK MAGAZINE

Black Bay One Collection

Tudor’s history with ladies’ watches goes back to the early 1930s, when the brand released its first models created specifically for women. With rectangular and barrel-shaped cases inspired by Art Deco, these early pieces reflected the fashion of the time but were already known for their reliability. In the decades that followed, Tudor expanded its offerings, introducing waterproof cases in the 1940s, sports models in the 1970s, and eventually, dive watches with the same specs as men’s models, just in a more compact format. Today, that legacy continues across several core collections. On the sportier side, there’s the Black Bay 54, a well-proportioned 37 mm dive watch with 200 meters of water resistance, a rotating bezel, and an in-house automatic movement. Exclusively in stainless steel, early versions featured black dials and aluminum bezels, while the latest Lagoon Blue edition offers a sea-blue, sand-textured dial and matching steel bezel. For a more versatile, all-purpose option, the Black Bay One collection takes familiar design cues from the Black Bay line and reinterprets them into sleek models that go from day to night. Available in four case sizes, the watches come in stainless steel or two-tone steel and yellow gold, with smooth or diamond-set bezels, a variety of dial colors, and five-link bracelets.

51 | BC CLARK MAGAZINE

Clair de Rose Collection

Tudor Royal Collection

Fans of sport-chic watches can turn to the Royal collection, offered in various sizes and available in steel or two-tone yellow gold. These watches feature integrated bracelets, notched or diamond bezels, and a range of dial options. Alternatively, the Clair de Rose line leans feminine with Roman numerals, fluted crowns, and guilloché dials. Crafted in stainless steel and available in three sizes, Clair de Rose watches come with high- polished five-link bracelets and a choice of blue or silver dials, with or without diamonds. Finally, the 1926 collection honors Tudor’s early history with classically elegant watches featuring embossed dials and leaf-shaped hands, offered in three sizes in steel or two-tone rose gold. Whether worn as an everyday companion or as a signature accessory, Tudor watches offer women the confidence of Swiss manufacturing, precise mechanical movements, and design-forward thinking — all at a price point that remains approachable within the luxury category. As more women seek out watches that reflect both personal style and horological credibility, Tudor delivers a compelling proposition that’s both relevant and enduring.

The family can enjoy historic attractions in the nation’s capital region while you tackle Oitavos Dunes, ranked among the top golf courses in the world, known for its links-style design and Atlantic Ocean views. Don’t overlook West Cliffs, a new addition to the Lisbon golf scene, or Royal Obidos, designed by Seve Ballesteros. Portugal remains relatively affordable monuments compared to Europe’s more famous cities, such as Paris or London. Some Americans have complained that cart fees are on the high end, perhaps as an incentive to walk rather than ride the course.

Don’t be surprised if you encounter cloudy weather when you get off the plane. It’s a tropical climate, with brief rain showers punctuating the warm and humid air. During the warmer months, book early tee times to beat the worst of the heat. Take the usual advice to heart of dressing in layers. Rental cars and hotel shuttles are the most common ways to get around Lisbon. A golf booking agency can help with transfers to and from courses. We encourage you to make Portugal your next destination for a family adventure. A golf trip there promises a respite from the familiar and an adventure into stunning natural beauty and engaging cultural destinations.

Omega

Omega salutes the Seamaster family with an 11-watch collection in Summer Blue that celebrates water resistance. To celebrate Omega’s oceangoing icon, the Swiss brand has produced a new collection with bold dials that include a striking tone reminiscent of a perfect day on a boundless sea. The seven iconic models, eleven watches in all, track a trajectory from dressy to serious dive tech. Common to all is Omega’s Summer Blue, used in greater

or lesser degrees to reflect the water resistance of each Seamaster and relate its depth-defying credentials at a glance: Aqua Terra represents the sun-drenched surface, Ultra Deep the dark abyss.

18 COUPLES & OVER $130,000 AND COUNTING! ear Y Pray for Rain A RECORD It all started with a simple, joyful idea: turn Oklahoma’s unpredictable weather into something to celebrate. The promise? If it rained at least one inch in OKC on your wedding day, your engagement ring would be free. Since then, over 300 couples have had their prayers answered, and BC Clark has given away over a million dollars in rings. If it rains or snows one inch or more on the wedding day at one of our designated measurement locations, the original buyer is eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding sales tax, up to a maximum of $10,000. Since raising the Pray for Rain refund amount to $10,000 in 2024, we’ve experienced a record-breaking year with over $130,000 in engagement ring refunds and counting. April marked the start of what would become a season of rain. With seven winning Pray For Rain days in that month alone, the showers kept coming. But with every downpour came joy for BC Clark couples across the state.

Jake + Hannah April 19, 2025

A Snowy Proposal, A Rainy “I Do” Jake and Hannah’s love story began at Oklahoma State University and led to a snowy proposal in Lake Tahoe, where Jake got down on one knee as snowflakes fell around them. Their journey came full circle on April 19, 2025, when they said “I do” at the Philbrook Museum of Art — complete with 2.35 inches of rain on their wedding day, making their Pray for Rain win even sweeter.
