18 COUPLES & OVER $130,000 AND COUNTING! ear Y Pray for Rain A RECORD It all started with a simple, joyful idea: turn Oklahoma’s unpredictable weather into something to celebrate. The promise? If it rained at least one inch in OKC on your wedding day, your engagement ring would be free. Since then, over 300 couples have had their prayers answered, and BC Clark has given away over a million dollars in rings. If it rains or snows one inch or more on the wedding day at one of our designated measurement locations, the original buyer is eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding sales tax, up to a maximum of $10,000. Since raising the Pray for Rain refund amount to $10,000 in 2024, we’ve experienced a record-breaking year with over $130,000 in engagement ring refunds and counting. April marked the start of what would become a season of rain. With seven winning Pray For Rain days in that month alone, the showers kept coming. But with every downpour came joy for BC Clark couples across the state.

This year, love was in the air — and so was the rain. Here’s a look back at a few of our winning couples that contributed to our record year!
Jake + Hannah April 19, 2025
A Snowy Proposal, A Rainy “I Do” Jake and Hannah’s love story began at Oklahoma State University and led to a snowy proposal in Lake Tahoe, where Jake got down on one knee as snowflakes fell around them. Their journey came full circle on April 19, 2025, when they said “I do” at the Philbrook Museum of Art — complete with 2.35 inches of rain on their wedding day, making their Pray for Rain win even sweeter.
