A lthough the leader of the fourth generation of King Jewelers has retired, the company maintains its presence in South Florida. King Jewelers recently opened its private office in Boca Raton. The by-appointment model will allow clients to view luxury collections of fine jewelry, diamonds and Swiss timepieces in a one-on-one setting. They also offer concierge services and continue with the corporate gifting programs. “As one of the oldest jewelers in South Florida, dating back to the early 1930s in Miami Beach, we are honored to continue servicing and styling our clients, many of which have shopped with our family for generations,” says Jono King, president of King Jewelers in Boca Raton. “After over four decades in the jewelry industry, my father Scott finally decided to retire. That was the impetus to refining the model in S. Florida, focusing on growth and expansion in Nashville while continuing to cater to our long-term clients in South Florida. We are excited to start this new chapter in S. Florida. The original thought was to merely open an accounting and administrative office in S. Florida. However, during the retirement sale, we listened closely as our clients genuinely expressed their trust and appreciation, as well their concern for us not being around for their jewelry and watch needs. Ultimately we decided to open a private salon in Boca Raton. This is the next step in personalized service, a true concierge model by which luxury is delivered right to our clients’ home or office.” While King Jewelers’ physical location has scaled down, a vast array of new and exciting inventory remains. The family continues to travel the globe hand selecting the latest collections of fine jewelry and precious stones for the S. Florida market. The King Jewelers private label collections will now be designed and manufactured in Italy, as well as in the Nashville outfit. “We have always prided ourselves on the pillars of first-class service and an unparalleled product offering.
