Bachendorf's Magazine Fall/Winter 2025

A Weekend of Southern Charm and Family Traditions

The couple’s wedding weekend, which took place June 5th-8th, 2025, was a true celebration of family and tradition. Festivities began with a “Gathering in the Garden” at the historic Botherum home. The following day, a Bohemian Garden Party was held for the bridesmaids’ luncheon, hosted by a group of Talley’s “Auntees” who helped raise her. The event embraced a whimsical theme, with guests wearing floral crowns and sitting on pillows for tea sandwiches and champagne. Talley’s look for the occasion was a beautiful Temperley

London cape paired with a floral crown by Drury Floral. She accessorized with Bachendorf’s archival amethyst, ametrine, and diamond yellow gold flower earrings, adding a touch of vintage glamour. A surprise book, orchestrated by her mother, Jane Scott, featured heartfelt notes and cherished memories from each guest. The napkins and book were adorned with the first official monogram of the weekend — the Joy Monogram by Leontine Linens, a tribute to her paternal grandmother’s trousseau.

The rehearsal dinner and welcome party, held at The Apiary in Lexington, showcased the couple’s appreciation for Kentucky’s lush landscapes. Talley wore a custom gown by New Orleans couturier Suzanne Perron St. Paul, the lavender florals subtly hinting at the wedding’s color theme. Lush florals and bronze pheasants adorned the tables, accompanied by another Leontine Linens touch — a napkin featuring the ‘Duke’ monogram.
