THE BOCK FAMILY HAS A DEEP HISTORY IN THE DIAMOND INDUSTRY
As a third-generation jeweler, Lawrence Bock’s family relationships across the diamond industry dates all the way back to early 20th-century Europe. Building on the legacy of his grandfather Abram and his father Harry, Lawrence has continued to develop the passion he inherited to become an influential industry figure in his own right. From our home here in Dallas to cities across the world, Lawrence Bock has a far reach when it comes to making an impact on the world of diamonds. He began traveling early in his career alongside his father and grandfather and today continues that tradition with his wife and daughter. Serving on the board of directors for Jewelers of America, Lawrence works to help advance the causes of professionalism and ethics across the jewelry supply chain and represents the industry regarding government affairs and legislation. He also has served on the board of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee and is involved with several philanthropic organizations, including The Cattle Baron’s Ball, The Crystal Charity Ball, Capital for Kids, The Farrah Fawcett Foundation, and the SPCA Fur Ball, where he served as 2024 co-chair. As lawmakers convene in Washington D.C. to discuss policies that affect the jewelry business, Lawrence often heads to our nation’s capital to lobby on behalf of fair regulations.
