A Growing Family and the Fifth Generation Even while working seven days a week to grow his business, Tony never forgot his family or his childhood sweetheart, Gretta. After returning to Lebanon to visit family, he rekindled their relationship, and the two married before moving back to America. Over the next few years, their family grew with the births of Joelle in 1985, Chris in 1987, and Jason in 1988. Raised in and around the store, the children became the fifth generation of Sheiban jewelers, with Chris soldering his first chain at nine and Jason forming his first ring at eight. Building a Destination Showroom The turn of the millennium marked a new era for the business. In 2000, growth prompted the construction of a freestanding flagship location in Strongsville. Tony worked closely with architects and designers to create a showroom that reflected the beauty of the jewelry inside. This location remains the cornerstone of Sheiban Jewelers today, offering an elegant and welcoming experience.
The Next Generation Leads with Innovation and Community As the business matured, Chris and Jason officially joined the company, bringing years of hands-on experience and a bold vision for the future. They had spent summers in Lebanon learning jewelry manufacturing and horology from their grandfather and later graduated with diplomas in Business, Graduate Gemology, and Applied Jewelry Arts. Once at the helm, the brothers led a sweeping modernization of the business. They introduced technology solutions including an e-commerce website, modern point-of-sale systems, and robust client relationship management tools. They invested in Computer Aided Design and Laser Welding Technologies, transforming how jewelry was designed, manufactured, and repaired. They built a marketing team and implemented digital strategies that elevated the Sheiban brand and deepened customer engagement.
