WELCOME
Welcome, friends and family, to the 2025/2026 edition of our annual magazine.
As another holiday season arrives, we find ourselves filled with gratitude — for the clients we’ve welcomed, the milestones we’ve celebrated, and the incredibly joyful moments that we’ve marked with unforgettable jewelry and timepieces this year. When we last gathered through these pages, we had just completed a remarkable chapter in Long’s history, opening not one, but two new locations in just six months: our beautiful store in Braintree and a stunning boutique in Boston’s Back Bay. Since then, these spaces have truly come to life. We’ve introduced some of the most highly sought brands in the world. We’ve launched impactful campaigns (Long Live Love!). And, we’ve hosted memorable events that brought our community together in the way only fine jewelry and watches can. This season, we’re thrilled to continue that momentum with exciting new collections and curated experiences for the holidays and into the new year. From bold, sculptural creations by Vhernier; to architectural sophistication from Āzlee; to vibrant, opulent creations of Bayco Jewels; to iconic favorites from David Yurman and others — there’s truly something extraordinary for everyone on your list. (And we hope that list includes you!) Speaking of something extraordinary — have you visited us Upstairs at Long’s? Our boutique on Newbury Street has quickly become a destination for fine jewelry collectors, style influencers, and long-time clients alike. With an incredible selection of high jewelry and emerging designers, Upstairs at Long’s offers a shopping experience as refined as the pieces within it. At the end of summer, we added an outdoor terrace — a chic, al fresco escape where clients gathered for private viewings, amazing events, and leisurely afternoons catching up over a glass of champagne. It’s been a joy to see this space come alive, and we look forward to welcoming you back again and again. In the coming year, you’ll notice even more changes and upgrades at Long’s — and this time, our sights are set on our suburban locations. Because at Long’s, we are committed to making every visit, every gift, and every celebration feel personal and unforgettable. It’s a journey that’s ever-evolving, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store. Thank you for continuing to support us and for including Long’s in your most meaningful moments this year and beyond. Today and always, we’re honored to be a part of your story.

LONGSTANDING EXCELLENCE
LONG’S A Legacy of Meaningful Luxury
A
At Long’s Jewelers, we’ve long understood that true luxury extends far beyond the tangible. A diamond ring, a signature timepiece, a rare gemstone — these are not just exquisite objects, but symbols. They mark milestones, celebrate triumphs, and express love, gratitude, and personal accomplishment in ways words often cannot. It’s with this understanding that we’ve built our legacy. Since 1878, Long’s has remained devoted to curating jewelry and timepieces that honor life’s most meaningful moments — pieces chosen not just for their beauty, but for the stories they’ll come to represent. As a proud family-owned business, we serve clients across six thoughtfully designed locations in Massachusetts and
New Hampshire. Each space offers a warm, welcoming experience and a unique selection of diamond and gemstone jewelry, iconic global brands, and exceptional timepieces. Our collections are diverse — from refined everyday luxury to statement-making high jewelry, bridal and engagement, as well as rare vintage and pre-owned finds. Every location reflects its community’s unique style sensibilities, ensuring a personalized and highly tailored experience. We are especially proud to call Newbury Street home, not once but twice. Our first address, Boston’s dedicated Rolex Boutique, has delighted watch collectors and connoisseurs since 2021. Just across the street, our newest Boston flagship — a contemporary,
light-filled space — sets a new standard for luxury retail in the city. This elegant space reflects our continued commitment to design innovation and serves as inspiration as we evolve our suburban stores. Though our heritage in New England spans nearly 150 years, our perspective is fresher than ever. The trust our clients place in us is a responsibility we hold with the utmost care — and it’s what fuels our passion to continually refine and elevate your experience. This holiday season and beyond, we’re honored to remain your destination for world class jewelry and timepieces. The future is bright, and we’re grateful to help you celebrate all that makes it brilliant.

BLUE SAPPHIRES: THE ICONIC HUE
Blue sapphires are celebrated for their deep, velvety color — a shade that has come to symbolize wisdom, royalty, and enduring style. While most of today’s sapphires are mined from countries located within similar geographic regions, the most prized stones hail from the legendary Himalayan mountains in Kashmir. Long depleted from this location, a Kashmir sapphire is a collector’s dream.
Color is the defining factor for a blue sapphire: the richer and more vibrant the blue, the more valuable the gem. Treatments such as heat enhancement are common and accepted in the trade, but unheated sapphires with exceptional color and inclusion are true collector’s treasures. Every blue sapphire in our collection is chosen for its depth of color and timeless appeal.

FANCY-COLORED SAPPHIRES: NATURE’S PALETTE
Sapphires aren’t just blue — they exist in a breathtaking range of colors, from vivid pinks and fiery oranges to purples, yellows, and even rare “parti” stones that display more than one hue. These fancy sapphires are prized for their uniqueness and the way each stone captures the artistry of nature. Some colors, like padparadscha (a delicate blend of pink and orange), are especially rare and sought after by connoisseurs. Whether untreated or expertly enhanced, fancy-color sapphires offer collectors the chance to own something truly outstanding — a vibrant expression of individuality and natural wonder.

EMERALDS: NATURE’S SIGNATURE
Emeralds are among the world’s most coveted gemstones. Sourced from origins like Colombia, Zambia, and Afghanistan, they are prized for their lush green color and unmistakable presence. Securing these top-quality gems — including the extremely rare non-oil Zambian stone — is no small feat; true collector-grade emeralds are incredibly hard to source, especially those with vivid color and minimal treatment. For collectors, origin, clarity, and the presence of natural inclusions all play a role in determining an emerald’s rarity and worth. At Long’s, we pride ourselves on finding emeralds with minimal visual inclusions, not only for their optical beauty, but also for their enhanced stability and lasting value. To wear an
emerald from Long’s is to own a gemstone that is truly noteworthy — hard to find, impossible to forget, and destined to be cherished for generations.

PARAIBA TOURMALINE: ELECTRIC RARITY
Paraiba tourmaline is one of the world’s most elusive and mesmerizing gems. Discovered in the late 1980s, these copper-rich stones are found in limited pockets in Brazil, Mozambique, and Nigeria — each origin lending its own nuance to the stone’s electric color. The Paraiba fame comes from the vivid neon blue and turquoise hues seen in heated stones — colors so striking they seem to glow from within.
Unheated Paraiba tourmalines, on the other hand, display pinkish-purple tones — an entirely different palette that is equally prized for its natural beauty and scarcity. Whether heated or unheated, sourcing these stones is incredibly challenging, as top-quality Paraibas are rare and command global attention from collectors. When Long’s evaluates a Paraiba tourmaline, we look for intensity, color saturation, and excellent clarity — hallmarks of a truly desirable stone.

PEARLS: RARE BY NATURE
Our pearl collection is a tribute to rarity and refinement, spotlighting the world’s most extraordinary varieties. South Sea pearls, renowned as the rarest and most valuable of all pearl types, are prized for their impressive size, thick nacre, and soft, luminous luster. Grown in limited regions and requiring up to four years to develop, these pearls are found in shades ranging from optic white to deep, honey gold. Most pearls on the market today are cultured, grown in pearl farms with careful human guidance. Natural, unenhanced pearls, however, form entirely without intervention, making them both rare and highly coveted. As a result of their natural occurrence, many unenhanced pearls are formed as baroque pearls, or pearls that are non-round and irregular in shape. Because these pearls are seldom found in modern harvests, most strands available today are antiques, sought by collectors for their purity and unique structure. Their scarcity and untouched beauty make them some of the most desired varieties in the world.
At Long’s, we specialize in sourcing some of the finest natural and cultured South Sea, baroque, and golden Tahitian pearls on the market. Each piece in our collection is chosen for its individuality and provenance, ensuring every pearl is genuine and of heirloom quality.

YELLOW DIAMONDS: THE JOY OF COLOR
Yellow diamonds, also known as fancy yellow or canary diamonds, are among the rarest and most captivating gems in the world. Their vibrant hue is the result of natural traces of nitrogen within the crystal structure, creating colors that range from soft champagne to vivid, sunlit gold.
Unlike traditional white diamonds, fancy yellows are graded primarily on the intensity and purity of their color — the more saturated and even the yellow, the more valuable and sought-after the stone. Sourcing top-quality yellow diamonds is a true challenge, which is why each stone in our collection is carefully chosen for its brilliance, clarity, and color — but the cut is most beneficial for the overall scintillation. Whether set as a striking centerpiece or paired with classic white diamonds for dramatic contrast, yellow diamonds offer a bold, joyful take on timeless luxury.

RUBIES: THE ESSENCE OF PASSION
Rubies have long been admired for their rich, fiery color and symbolic representation of passion and power. The most coveted stones originate from the Mogok region of Myanmar (formerly Burma), renowned for their pure, vibrant “pigeon’s blood” red — a standard against which all others are measured. While Myanmar’s mining efforts for fine gems are nearly extinct, rubies are still being sourced from Mozambique and Thailand, regions producing stones with their own distinctive hues and character. Today, older stones continue to be highly sought not only for their saturation and depth of color, but because it’s nearly impossible to find fine gems that are newly available.
Origin plays a crucial role in a ruby’s value, but so does treatment. Most rubies on the market are heat-treated to enhance their color and clarity; however, unheated rubies — those displaying their natural beauty untouched — are both rare and highly prized by collectors. These stones often command a premium for their purity and authenticity.

ĀZLEE MODERN LUXURY, CRAFTED WITH INTENTION
Mother Nature is an artist of contrasts — canyon walls carved in rugged majesty, strong currents flowing with delicate grace. Having witnessed this exquisite tension within the Guatemalan landscape, Baylee Zwart found her muse at a young age. And thus ĀZLEE was born. With a deep appreciation for the process of crafting something from nothing, Zwart shapes raw materials into wearable objects that bridge past and present. Designed in her Santa Monica atelier, she merges ancient jewelry design practices, vintage architecture, and the romance of ancient civilizations into a singular vision of modern luxury. What emerges are pieces that depict staircase profiles drawn from Art Deco’s clean lines as well as soft curves and tactile textures — reminiscent of
stones polished by waves — that invite touch. The collections — which are crafted in 18K gold — are made in Los Angeles. Raw, luxurious, and modern, ĀZLEE doesn’t just shape how we view our everyday style — it inspires self-expression and a deeper connection to the natural world around us. Every piece is a testament to architectural precision and organic fluidity, and how personal stories become timeless heirlooms. From exquisite fancy-shape diamonds to ultra-wearable coins, ĀZLEE refines modern luxury into pieces you’ll reach for daily — glamorous, sensual, and unmistakably yours.

FOR MEN
CHAIN REACTION
THE MODERN MAN’S WRIST CODE
Jewelry has often been viewed as just for her — but what if it were for you, too? While traditionally less popular with the gents, fine jewelry is now garnering attention as modern men embrace iconic styles that reflect their unique personalities. They’re choosing self-expression by carefully selecting jewelry staples that go beyond watches and standard cuff links. It all starts with the wrist, where a simple bracelet becomes more than a statement — it’s a power move in the making. Links and chains
exude strength; leather adds that relaxed polish; a cable or cord gives way to laid-back luxury; beads in onyx or lapis offer just a hint of color. The difference between “dressed” and “put together” starts here. Forget the myth that men don’t wear jewelry, because the best-dressed do — and they do it with enthusiasm. Whether growing your collection or in search of your first links, you’ll find a diverse selection of men’s bracelets for any occasion at Long’s.

ART The of Discovery
VINTAGE & ESTATE THROUGH THE AGES
There’s something undeniably captivating about pre-loved jewelry and timepieces. It’s an allure that can’t be replicated — often because many of these highly sought styles are one-of-a-kind or hard to come by. Patina, handwork, and time- worn details add up to more than beauty — they offer connection, character, and history. Each piece has already lived a beautiful life, gathering stories you can practically feel as you wear it. At Long’s, we’ve long believed in the enduring power of the past. Our Vintage and Estate Collection spans delicate turn-of-the-century filigree, joyful mid-century silhouettes, and modern signed creations — each selected for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and lasting appeal. These aren’t replicas or trends. They’re originals with a point of view, chosen because they stand the test of style and time.
Today, vintage is anything but outdated. In fact, many of these pieces are remarkably current: easy to wear, easy to love, and infinitely personal. And because estate jewelry extends the life of something already beautifully made, it’s circular luxury at its best, becoming a meaningful investment in both the planet and your wardrobe. Our passionate Buying Team is forever sourcing new finds, providing an endless trove of vintage rarities and collectible designer pieces to discover. We invite you to step into the world of pre-owned jewelry and timepieces, where past and present meet, and where every piece has a story waiting to be continued.

ESTATE / TURN OF THE CENTURY
AN ERA OF REFINEMENT
The early 1900s favored lightness and lace. Think airy platinum filigree, old European- cut diamonds, and milgrain borders that catch the light like snowfall. This era’s jewels — carved jade pendants, Art Deco rings, and intricate bracelets — were engineered with astonishing finesse, yet designed to be lived in and adored. Wear these pieces as they were intended: close to the skin, layered softly, and paired with today’s pared-back silhouettes for a quiet glow that feels effortless. Our Collector’s Note: Look for hand-pierced galleries, original patina, and the poetry of early cuts — each facet a fingerprint from another time.

ESTATE / MID-CENTURY
JOY, GEOMETRY & A DASH OF WHIMSY
Mid-century style traded lace for line, ushering in an era of innovation and experimentation with bold cocktail rings, sculptural bangles, and playful brooches. Textured yellow gold and graphic silhouettes define the mood — equal parts optimism and artistry. We love this time period’s delightful obsession with menagerie motifs from maisons like Van Cleef & Arpels — tiny creatures with gemstone eyes and outsized charm — alongside space-age forms and strong everyday staples. Our Collector’s Note: Pin a whimsical character brooch to your blazer or knit for instant personality with zero effort. Even if vintage treasures prove elusive, contemporary maisons like Cartier continue to channel retro charm, reimagining nostalgic motifs through iconic collections like Panthère.

Whether inspired by nature, fashion, or pure artistry, here are some of our favorite colorful watches right now, each one brightening the wrist while keeping perfect time.

TUDOR BLACK BAY 54 “LAGOON BLUE” The Tudor Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue” brings a splash of tropical color to a heritage-inspired dive watch. Its 37 mm stainless steel case houses a sand-textured dial in vivid blue, paired with a mirror-polished bezel and a comfortable five-link bracelet. With 200 meters of water resistance and a 70-hour power reserve, it’s as ready for an afternoon swim as it is for a sunset cocktail.
CARTIER TANK MUST The Tank Must de Cartier brings a bold twist to the brand’s iconic rectangular design with a vivid blue lacquered dial. Furnished with a matching alligator strap and a polished steel case measuring 33.7 mm by 25.5 mm, its minimalist style keeps the striking color front and center. At just 6.6 mm thick and powered by a high-autonomy quartz movement, it’s as easy to wear as it is eye-catching.

OMEGA SEAMASTER AQUA TERRA The 38 mm Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra watch turns heads with its lacquered turquoise dial, enriched by a black gradient effect inspired by ocean depths. Stainless steel construction, a brushed and polished bracelet with comfort-adjustment system, and 150 meters of water resistance ensure it’s as capable as it is colorful. Inside beats the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8800, METAS-certified for precision and performance.
GRAND SEIKO HERITAGE COLLECTION The Grand Seiko SBGW323 brings a soft pop of color to the 44GS design with a purple Mt. Iwate–pattern dial inspired by the kiri flower of Iwate Prefecture. Its 36.5 mm stainless steel case highlights the sharp, polished lines that have defined Grand Seiko since 1967 — fitted with a matching steel bracelet. Inside, the hand-wound Caliber 9S64 delivers 72 hours of power reserve.

REIMAGINES TRADITION FOR TODAY’S COLLECTOR PATEK PHILIPPE
P
Patek Philippe continues to draw from its rich design history while refining the details for a contemporary audience. Two new releases, the Calatrava 6196P and the Retrograde Perpetual Calendar 6159G, demonstrate the brand’s mastery of evolving classic forms without losing their character.
With origins dating back to 1932, the new Calatrava Reference 6196P-001 is steeped in tradition, featuring a slim 38 mm platinum case, a manual-winding movement, and a vintage- inspired domed rose-gilt opaline dial. Faceted anthracite white gold “obus” markers and dauphine hands lend a subtle modern touch,
while the brilliant-cut diamond at 6 o’clock discreetly signals the precious metal case. Paired with a shiny chocolate brown alligator strap and platinum prong buckle, and powered by the Caliber 30-255 PS with a 65-hour power reserve, the 6196P-001 is the essence of timeless elegance.
62 | LONG’S JEWELERS MAGAZINE
The new Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Reference 6159G-001 offers a contemporary interpretation of one of Patek Philippe’s most revered complications — a layout that first debuted in 1937. Housed in a 39.5 mm white gold case with a hobnail guilloché bezel (a signature motif first seen on a Calatrava in 1934), the watch is fitted with a gray metallized sapphire crystal dial that subtly reveals the intricate workings of the
self-winding Caliber 26-330 S QR beneath. White gold baton-style markers and dauphine hands with white luminescent coating provide crisp legibility, while the retrograde date, day, month, leap year, and moon phase indications are cleanly arranged across the dial. Finished with a black composite strap featuring a fabric- like texture and secured by a newly developed triple-blade fold-over clasp, the 6159G-001 brings modernity to a classically complex Patek
Philippe design. Together, the Calatrava 6196P and the Retrograde Perpetual Calendar 6159G reflect Patek Philippe’s ongoing commitment to honoring its legacy while embracing current sensibilities. Rather than replicating the past, these new releases distill decades of design into refined, contemporary executions that feel both familiar and fresh.
