“James and I went to high school together at Staples but didn’t become friends until after graduation working at Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club together. From that friendship we started dating while we were in college.
For the engagement we were out in Big Sky Montana which we visit a lot and is a very special place for us. One of the hotels out there is the Montage which is one of our favorite places to pop in for a drink while we’re out in Big Sky.”
“I thought we were just walking into the Montage for a cocktail before dinner when James walked out to the balcony and proposed. We flew back to NY the next day and had a surprise brunch with both of our families.”
