GEN-Z DOESN’T —we want meaning. WANT MORE ‘STUFF’
personal, that align with our values, and that last beyond the season. The unboxing moment matters, too, not because we’re shallow, but because presentation is part of the memory. So who are we? Generation Z is anyone born between 1997 and 2012. Yes, I am a Gen-Z —which gives me perfect credentials to write this piece. We grew up with technology in our hands, trends changing quicker than ever, and fast fashion teaching us exactly what not to value. We’re socially conscious, caring about human rights, sustainability, and transparency. We’re practical with money, but we love to indulge when the moment feels worth it. More than anything, we crave experiences that shape us, and gifts that tell a story we can carry, share, and remember. That’s why the perfect gift for Gen-Z has less to do with trend, and more to do with thoughtfulness. It’s about pieces that feel
