FLOY FLOWERS-PENCE M E E T F I N K ’ S O W N Store Manager Hilltop • Virginia Beach, VA (757) 640-1132 • Floy.Pence@finks.com

I have been in the jewelry industry for almost 40 years. You don’t stay in an industry that long if you aren’t passionate about what you’re doing. I started my career in Richmond, VA, and moved to Hampton Roads four years ago. I have been with Fink’s Jewelers for over 14 years, and I am thrilled to be in the Hampton Roads area! What is it like managing the Fink’s Hilltop store? Fink’s Jewelers has had a store in the Hampton Roads area for over 20 years. We moved from Norfolk to Virginia Beach and the new showroom is larger, with more space for the incredible designer brands we carry. Everything about the store is so welcoming and luxurious. The Shops at Hilltop is such a great shopping area! Managing for Fink’s Jewelers is such a pleasure and we have a great team here at this store.

How do you help couples find the perfect engagement ring?

The most important part of assisting bridal clients is listening to their needs. Clients need to know that their wishes and concerns will be addressed during the process. Sometimes couples really don’t have any idea what they would like and are open to suggestions. Those are my

favorite clients to work with! Fink’s Jewelers offers custom design services to create the ring of their dreams. Every couple is different, and the rings should reflect their lifestyles and unique personalities. I always ask how they plan on proposing. Sometimes they need a little help with suggestions! I always ask couples to share their pictures with me. It’s such a joy to see the love on their faces and observe that special moment. What are some hobbies you enjoy doing when you’re not working? Everyone who knows me will tell you I spend all my spare time fishing! There is a peacefulness found being near the water. I have been fortunate enough to fish in every country I have traveled to. There are still some target species on my catch list. I haven’t landed a marlin, sailfish, rooster fish or a tarpon yet. My favorite catch so far has been mahi-mahi. They are the most colorful fish and tremendous jumpers.

Who or what inspires you to be better today than you were yesterday? What has truly inspired me is being able to assist clients from the various branches of the military. Hampton Roads has the largest Navy base in the world! I had the opportunity to tour the USS Bainbridge with some military friends. What an eye-opening experience. I am just enthralled listening to the stories of the many places they have traveled and their life experiences. They have given the ultimate sacrifice to be away from their loved ones to serve their country. I really want them to know how much we appreciate their sacrifice and their service. They inspire me every day! FINK’S OFFERS A MILITARY DISCOUNT TO THANK ALL OF THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY

KATHY CAMITTA M E E T F I N K ’ S O W N Office Manager The Streets at Southport • Durham, N.C. (919) 281-8407

All things come full circle — at least they have for Fink’s Jewelers’ very own Kathy Camitta. As the office manager at The Streets at Southpoint location in Durham, NC, Kathy’s love for jewelry began at the age of six-years-old, when her father gifted her a Mikimoto three-pearl pendant necklace he brought back with him from a work trip to Japan. There was a rule though, that she couldn’t put them on until her 16th birthday. Today, Kathy runs the entire behind- the-scenes operation at the Durham location, and we wanted to know a little more about the woman who wears many hats! What is it like managing things behind the scenes? There’s never a dull moment and always so many things to do. Basically, we’re the engine that keeps the store running. I have a lot of customer interaction, whether it’s ringing up a sale or helping people pick up their repairs or special orders. We also work to advise on and take in repairs. The face-to-face time with customers is one of the reasons I love working at Fink’s. When I’m not one-on-one with people, I am managing the beautiful merchandise and being obsessed with that. How would you describe the company’s culture or atmosphere to someone new to the company? I come from a retail corporate background, where there were a lot of restrictions and hierarchy. But Fink’s is different, even though it’s a big company.

Of course, there’s still that pride in the quality of customer service, but the real family feel here is unique and different. I remember the first time one of the executives came to visit the store, he showed up in jeans and was hanging around and chatting. And I remember the first time I talked to Marc Fink — He knew who I was, knew I was new, and he made it a point to meet me that day. So, the culture itself really has that family feel. It’s nice. What hidden talents do you bring to your role? I often refer to my education in family therapy. I never used, it because I was offered a management position at William Sonoma after grad school, but that knowledge does come into play when I face people that are upset. I can help resolve situations when they arise. Being able to help solve problems is something I love, especially when I’m able to use that talent.

What inspires you to be better tomorrow than you are today? On the more personal side, my family is key. They are the reason I moved down here — to be closer to my brother and his kids. I don’t have children, and I’m not married, but my nieces and nephews are so important to me. My sister lives in Chicago with her kids, and my other brother lives in New York, but the weather is much nicer down here in Durham! Where is your personal happy place? In an ideal world, I’d be traveling. I’ve dreamed of living overseas in Japan. I started learning Japanese during the shutdown as part of my fantasy to retire and go to Japan to teach English. I would love to live in Tokyo. It’s just so safe, clean, and steeped in culture, and that’s my dream to retire there.

MARCO EVER EVOLVING THE NEWNESS OF

Marco Bicego proves that jewelry doesn’t just have to be something you wear, but rather it can be an outward extension of our own transformations throughout life. Each collection begins as classic core wardrobe pieces, which Marco then evolves into more detailed, and sometimes colorful, intricate works of art. Marco has dedicated fall 2021 to three focus additions: Marrakech Onde, Jaipur Link with pendants, and classic gold Lunaria. It is as much about the journey of the jewelry as it is the journey of the woman who wears it for every occasion of her life.

THE MARRAKECH COLLECTION , for instance, sheds light on Marco’s timeless and evolutionary thinking in wearable, classic jewelry. No one could have predicted that a broken machine and a coiled chain from 20 years ago would blossom into Marco’s signature hand-twisted Marrakech collection to become the newest iteration: Marrakech Onde Blooming Diamond. Recognized instantly, Marrakech is continuously evolving and now includes delicate interlocking oval links and twisted strands with stunning arrays of blooming diamond flowers. Both timeless and elegant, the Marrakech Onde Blooming Diamond flowers complement any style and are versatile, sensual, and evolutionary in every way imaginable. This collection is a physical display of Marco’s love of tradition and inspiration for putting a contemporary twist on modern jewelry.

BICEGO

ONE OF MARCO’S MOST POPULAR COLLECTIONS, LUNARIA is also evolving this year to include delicate and lightweight, yet bold cuffs, earrings, and rings. Born from Marco’s love of nature and the sight of soft flower petals blowing in the wind, the newest styles in the Lunaria collection carry on that legacy. Hand-engraved 18k gold petals are framed with polished gold and then hand-engraved to perfection. Graceful and elegant, the Lunaria collection’s newness transforms how we see nature, and stands the test of time. It remains a tried-and-true staple for any woman to have in her jewelry collection.

EVEN THROUGH THE EVOLUTION OF COLLECTIONS, MARCO BICEGO’S JEWELRY RETAINS A FAMILIARITY AND CONNECTION TO ITS ORIGINAL DESIGN AND THE HERITAGE OF THE BRAND. WITH BOTH HIS DISTINCTIVE HAND ENGRAVING AND COILING TECHNIQUES, THE ARTISANAL, HAND-MADE ASPECT CREATES A UNIQUE FEATURE IN WHICH NO TWO PIECES ARE EXACTLY ALIKE, MEANING EVERY CUSTOMER WALKS AWAY WITH AN HEIRLOOM THAT IS ALL HER OWN.

To Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex, the world was a living laboratory. He sent Rolex watches to the world’s most extreme locations, supporting explorers who ventured into the unknown. The world has changed since then, and as the 21st century unfolds, the company has moved from championing exploration for the sake of discovery to protecting the planet. Rolex still sends its watches into the unknown, but today, it also supports individuals and organizations who use science to understand the world’s environmental challenges and devise solutions that will restore balance to our ecosystems. The Rolex Awards for Enterprise, launched in 1976 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Oyster chronometer, are one of the three pillars of the Rolex Perpetual Planet initiative. It is dedicated to helping exceptional individuals with innovative projects that expand our knowledge of the world, improve human well-being, and protect the environment. Here are this year’s five laureates:

The five laureates in this year’s Rolex Awards for Enterprise are pioneers whose visionary projects have the potential to help reinvent the future. They include a wildlife conservationist, a polar explorer, a climate change scientist, a marine scientist who is exploring coral reefs, and a social entrepreneur fighting malnutrition in Africa.

RINZIN PHUNJOK LAMA is a scientist and environmentalist from Nepal who works to protect the diverse ecosystems of the Trans-Himalayan region, home of iconic and globally threatened mammals. Lama’s project is science-based, using field surveys and camera-trapping techniques to establish the baseline number of mammal species, while supporting the development of new enterprises that will expand the possibilities for local people’s income.

FELIX BROOKS-CHURCH is a social entrepreneur from the U.S. who, after witnessing malnutrition while working on educational programs in developing countries, devised a program to tackle malnutrition in Tanzania. He does it by equipping rural flour mills with dosifier machines, which fortify staple foods with micronutrients.

LUIZ ROCHA , a marine scientist from Brazil, is working to explore and protect coral reefs and their biodiversity in the Indian Ocean. His aim is to strengthen conservation of these largely unknown ecosystems. Rocha will research their suitability to shelter at-risk species from shallower reefs that are threatened by global warming.

HINDOU OUMAROU IBRAHIM , a climate activist from Chad, uses indigenous peoples’ traditional knowledge to map natural resources and prevent climate conflicts in the Sahel region of west-central Africa. Ibrahim believes women are key to her initiative because they remain close to nature, using the terrain and powers of observation to solve problems. She compares women’s wisdom to apps on a smart phone. “My best app is my grandmother,” she says.

GINA MOSELEY , a polar explorer and climate change scientist from the United Kingdom, aims to lead the first expedition to explore the planet’s northernmost caves in Greenland to improve our knowledge of climate change in the Arctic. The Arctic is warming at more than twice the rate of the global average, Moseley says, and understanding more about how this sensitive part of the world responds in a warmer world is crucial.

“Rolex has long recognized its responsibility to play a part in creating a sustainable planet, a Perpetual Planet,” says Arnaud Boetsch, Rolex’s director of communication and image. “Rather than venturing into the unknown and discovering uncharted lands, the new breed of explorer is committed to protecting the planet. The five laureates are prime examples of these guardians of the future.” They will receive funding for their projects and other benefits, such as

worldwide publicity, which often engenders further support. “The 155 projects supported by the Rolex Awards for Enterprise for nearly a half century have had a real impact on the world, with millions of people around the globe benefiting,” says Boetsch. “Marked by individual achievement, excellence, and performance, the Laureates and their projects reflect the values that have underpinned Rolex from its earliest days.”

When bundled together, the fineness and delicacy of the filaments create not only movement but an ethereal play of light. The collection is available in both 18k gold and sterling silver. commemorating years

When it comes to jewelry, Roberto Coin knows how to tell a story with every piece. Sometimes, these stories are of long ago. But in this case, the story of this necklace is about decades of friendships and partnerships. For nearly 30 years, Fink’s Jewelers and Roberto Coin have been working side-by-side to provide customers with beautiful, quality jewelry through their strong bond with one another. Now, they invite you to join in the celebration of their partnership with a design made exclusively for you, the Fink’s Jewelers customer! This striking necklace is a token of Roberto Coin’s appreciation and a celebration of the milestone of two family-run companies working together, since the early 1990s. TIMELESS & ELEGANT Roberto Coin is driven by an innate love for the crossroads of art and fashion. Each piece drafted by the designer is timeless and elegant, telling the romantic stories of the Italian culture, and this exclusive design is no different. This limited-edition necklace features Robert Coin’s signature 18k yellow gold paper clip chain with two inter-changeable medallions. Each medallion is hand-crafted and features round brilliant cut diamonds. “It is always a beautiful story. When thinking of Venice, you think of over 1,000 years of history and art. The design and the idea of our collection is inspired by the Venetian architecture, the beautiful “Rosoni” attached to all important palaces and churches from the 1400 to 1700 century,” says Roberto Coin. “Many of the rosoni are extremely complicated and are influenced by Gothic and Byzantine architecture.” As always, Roberto has included his signature ruby as a symbol of health, wealth, and happiness. And, as a special token to the Fink’s customer, his signature is engraved on the back. If you’re looking for a unique gift to add to her jewelry box this year, this limited-edition Roberto Coin necklace is the perfect way to celebrate! ROBERTO COIN AND FINK’S JEWELERS CELEBRATE A PARTNERSHIP SPANNING THREE DECADES WITH THIS LIMITED EDITION PIECE.

We emerged from lockdown in the spring to the vibrant neon energy of bright pinks, yellows, greens, and aquas. Those colors linger as accents as we transition into a range of comforting new neutrals for the fall, including saturated oranges, deep reds, and forest greens. Some of this year’s color combinations are surprising: Pantone’s top two colors of the year are the stony shades of Ultimate Gray and Illuminating, a golden buttercup yellow that will warm your heart. The two colors look great together — who would have thought? — and Vogue magazine called them the standout colors of 2021.

Marco Moore 14K Yellow Gold Pear Shape Orange Sapphire and Diamond Band Ring. $1,750

“Ultimate Gray is emblematic of solid and dependable elements that are everlasting and provide a firm foundation,” says Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute.“It is the color of pebbles on the beach whose weathered appearance highlights an ability to stand the test of time. It quietly assures, encouraging feelings of composure, steadiness, and resilience.” The second color, Illuminating, is one of strength and positivity, she says. “Illuminating is a bright and cheerful yellow, sparkling with vivacity. It is aspirational and gives us hope. We need to feel that everything is going to get brighter.” Likewise, the new colors released by paint companies this year are all about comfort. A new generation of saturated, restful neutrals provide a sense of sanctuary. Sherwin-Williams likes Urbane Bronze, a gray shade that is slightly darker than Pantone’s Ultimate. The company also released a light burgundy called Passionate, along with a pale apricot it describes as having overtones of “barely there pink,” like “minimally finished hardwood.”

Benjamin Moore goes earthy with a goldish hue it calls Chestertown Buff, and follows up with the blue-green Agean Teal, a color that “invites us to take a moment to reflect and reset.” Glidden likewise likes blue hues right now, introducing Aqua Fiesta, the tone of crystal-clear tropical water, and PPG released Misty Aqua, which it says is “all about looking ahead to cloudless skies and imagining destinations.”

And then there is green. Every paint company has one shade or another of this organic tone on its palette this year, from Behr’s pale green Jojoba to Pantone’s olive- hued Pepper Stem. Green is currently the hottest color in luxury watches, and it has long been the color that represents ecology and the environment.

HERE ARE SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT COLOR, INCLUDING SYMBOLISM AND LORE, TO REMIND US OF HOW IMPORTANT COLOR IS TO OUR WORLD, AND HOW DULL THINGS WOULD BE WITHOUT IT. RED IS THE COLOR OF LOVE. IT RADIATES PASSION AND VITALITY. TWOMAGICAL ELEMENTS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH RED: FIRE AND BLOOD, WHICH REPRESENT WARMTH AND LIFE ITSELF. IT IS THE COLOR OF INTENSITY, APPETITE, AND ADVENTURE. IT’S AN ATTENTION-GETTING TONE, HENCE THE RED STOP SIGN AND THE RED FIRE ENGINE — AND 77 PERCENT OF ALL NATIONAL FLAGS INCLUDE RED. YELLOW IS THE MOST LUMINOUS OF ALL THE COLORS IN THE SPECTRUM, AND IT THEREFORE CAPTURES OUR ATTENTION MORE THAN ANY OTHER — THE HUMAN EYE PROCESSES YELLOW FIRST. MANY DIVE WATCHES HAVE YELLOW DIALS OR MARKINGS FOR GREATER VISIBILITY UNDER WATER. IT’S A HAPPY COLOR THAT REMINDS US OF SUNSHINE, DAFFODILS, LEMONS, AND THE HAPPY FACE EMOJI. BLUE IS THE WORLD’S FAVORITE COLOR. IT IS COOLING AND SOOTHING AND ASSOCIATED WITH WISDOM AND CLARITY. SOFT BLUES ARE THOUGHT TO CALM THE MIND AND AID CONCENTRATION. DARK BLUE IMPLIES TRUST, DIGNITY, INTELLIGENCE, AND AUTHORITY. BRIGHT BLUE SIGNIFIES STRENGTH, DEPENDABILITY, AND COOLNESS. BLUE IS A DEPENDABLE, LOOKS-GOOD- ANYWHERE COLOR THAT IS ALL ABOUT PEACE AND SERENITY. GREEN IS A PERENNIAL FAVORITE THAT HAS COME TO REPRESENT THE VERY PLANET WE SHARE. IT IS THE COLOR OF ECOLOGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT, OF GREEN SPACES, SPRING, REGENERATION, AND FERTILITY. IT’S A LUCKY COLOR TO THE IRISH AS WELL AS MANY OTHER CULTURES, AND IT REPRESENTS RENEWAL AND ENERGY. A GREEN LIGHT MEANS GO! THERE ARE MORE SHADES OF GREEN THAN ANY OTHER COLOR, FROM THE LIME GREEN OF PERIDOT TO THE DEEP RICH GARDEN GREEN OF EMERALD. ORANGE IS THE ONLY COLOR NAMED AFTER A FRUIT—OR IS THE FRUIT NAMED AFTER THE COLOR? EITHER WAY, IT IS A VIVID, BRACING HUE THAT CAN MEAN LUXURY IN SOME SHADES AND SERVE AS A WARNING SIGNAL IN OTHERS — THINK TRAFFIC CONES AND POLICE VESTS. IN NATURE, IT SHOWS UP IN SUNSETS, RAINBOWS, FIRE, AND FLOWERS. IT IS THE COLOR OF HALLOWEEN, CHEETOS, AND MARMALADE. IT REPRESENTS VITALITY, WARMTH, CHEER, AND ADVENTURE. PINK HAS BECOME A STAPLE COLOR IN FASHION AND DECOR. SHADES RUN THE GAMUT FROM SOFT NEUTRALS TO VIBRANT NEON STYLE STATEMENTS. PINK SYMBOLIZES BLOSSOMING LOVE AND THE FRESHNESS OF YOUTH. IT IS THE COLOR OF ROMANCE, WARMTH, AFFECTION, AND TRANQUILITY. MORE SOOTHING THAN STIMULATING, PINK REPRESENTS THE FEMININE PRINCIPLE, REPRODUCTION, AND THE SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES.

MAKING THE VERY MOST

OF EVERY MOMENT.

Let ’ s C elebrate New Year’s Eve is just around the corner! It’s time to prepare for the glitz and glamour like never before as we celebrate the year ahead in 2022. Can you imagine? The spectacle of all of us putting on our finest and once again counting down the final moments of this year in style — it will be a sight to behold and remember.

So many of us, our friends, and our family, had put off those special events we live a lifetime to experience. As we all come together, we must remind ourselves how fortunate we are and relish the opportunity to gather and toast life’s most cherished moments. We have weddings to plan and attend. We have black tie, business, and formal events on the calendar again. We have important anniversaries to commemorate. We’re so energized to put on our most beautiful dresses and suits and mingle once more. There is so very much to look forward to!

LIFE IS ONE GRAND

START THE MUSIC.

SWEET SONG, SO

Let ’ s R ock! Live music is back! We recommend a front row seat to Foreigner or Styx, who’ve announced their new tours. Ok, we get that rock-and-roll might not be your thing. No problem, think symphony orchestra, then. Regardless, get your groove on and go listen to the tunes that push your buttons and either revisit the bands of your youth or allow the melodic violin to tickle your senses. Whether it’s a fringed vest (we joke, please no) or a nicely tailored dress or suit, the evening awaits — but do dress and accessorize to bring a smile to your face!

Food and wine festivals are back in full force this fall. How about a great football game? There’s no better place or time than now to enjoy the bounty of the season outdoors with alumni, friends, and family. Crisp temps await those who venture out in layered jackets, sweaters, and plaid shirts. Dress with purpose for events made to see and be seen. The holiday season welcomes us with parties and family gatherings meant to celebrate a glorious season of joy and thanksgiving. A wonderful time to reconnect with our loved ones and close friends awaits. A F estive Good Time

DIAMONDS THE DEFINITIVE BUYER’S GUIDE

You’re celebrating a momentous occasion and decide that a diamond is the perfect way to symbolize that moment. Perhaps this is the first diamond you’ve ever purchased, or maybe you are upgrading to a larger stone. Either way, you know you should be beaming with excitement, glowing with a smile so wide it hurts, but for some reason, you are anxious, sweaty, and twitchy. This is an important and costly purchase. You want to get it right — no room for error. But what do you know about buying a diamond and who can you trust with such an important purchase? So, you take to the internet, only to find yourself drowning in even more information and choices than you can comprehend. Now what? The diamond experts at Fink’s Jewelers are here to remind you to stop and just breathe. All will be right with the world if you take this simple piece of advice: Trust your own eye and heart. Now, let’s unlock some of the mystery of the diamond, debunk some myths, and help you make an informed decision, so that this eternal symbol of love, commitment, and achievement isn’t clouded by doubt and uncertainty. Most people have heard of the 4 Cs — color, cut, clarity, and carat — but what do these words really mean, and what makes each Fink’s diamond superior? We’re glad you asked! The first thing you should know is that not every diamond meets the Fink’s standard for Superior Quality ® and Superior Cut ® . We take the 4 Cs seriously, so you can

count on getting a diamond that’s beautiful and unique. Secondly, we like to stress that, contrary to popular belief, every diamond is measured against elements of beauty, not rarity. Just because something is rare does not make it pleasing to the eye. The beauty of diamonds starts with understanding that no two diamonds are the same, each housing its own unique characteristics. At Fink’s, our diamond experience includes viewing every diamond you select under a microscope to help you understand and witness those characteristics for yourself. Just because two diamonds are graded the same, does not mean they are exactly alike. Color, for example, is the absence or presence of body color in a diamond. The scale that most people are familiar with starts with D (for colorless) and goes down the alphabet, D, E, F, G, etc., all the way to Z. There is an assumption that D is the best. No, D is the rarest. Nature created fewer D, E, and F color diamonds than the other shades. It’s also a range of shades. Have you ever tried to buy white paint only to realize how many shades of white there are? Studies have shown that when looking at diamonds without being prejudiced by the grading of a diamond, many people prefer a diamond with a little body color or a little warmth. Many beautiful and lively diamonds are actually in the H to K range.

How a stone is made — or cut — is truly what unleashes the fire and brilliance in the diamond. When a cutter is given a diamond to facet, they are faced with a decision to either save weight or sacrifice weight to achieve ideal or near ideal proportions. When a diamond loses precious carat weight for the sake of ideal proportions, the price of the diamond is usually higher for the finished product, even though it eventually ends up weighing less. Clarity denotes what is going on inside and on the surface of the diamond. Very few things in nature are perfect, and diamonds are no exception. Let’s simplify it this way: What does it look like with the naked eye? First, study it hard without any aid of magnification. Do you see any distinguishing blemishes that distract from the brilliance of the diamond? You shouldn’t, because those diamonds don’t meet the Fink’s Superior Quality ® standard. In fact, diamonds with blemishes are rejected by our diamond buyer. Next comes studying the stone with magnification. A loupe is a viewing tool commonly used at the sales counter. Think about your kitchen window. You can focus your eyes on the window to see the fingerprints and spots on the window or you can look through the window to see who’s in the yard. Do the same thing to the diamond. Look through the windows. Look to see if you see any inclusions or what we call birthmarks. These aren’t flaws in the diamond, but rather unique characteristics that make each diamond special. Sometimes there are little white lines, sometimes there are clouds. While clouds can be line-shaped, feathers are typically white lines within a diamond. The grading scale of clarity CLIF — THE 5TH C There’s a fifth C that isn’t mentioned but is instrumental in setting the standards for Fink’s diamonds — Clif. For nearly 30 years, Clif has single-handedly inspected tens of thousands of diamonds, and he only chooses the best of the best to become a Fink’s diamond. Clif’s favorite saying is, “If it’s not a diamond I would be proud to put on my wife’s hand, then I don’t buy it.” Plain and simple. we don’t keep any diamonds on hand that don’t pass the Clif test. Although every Fink’s diamond is graded by the industry’s most respected laboratories, Clif’s approach to exceeding Fink’s Superior Cut ® and Superior Quality ® standards starts with a personal inspection of each stone. Clif inspects every part of the diamond, ensuring our customers get only the best diamonds, optimal in cut, light performance, brilliance, and even durability. Even if a diamond looks good on paper, if it doesn’t meet or exceed Clif’s standards, then you’ll never see it in a Fink’s showcase. This is how we continue to ensure a high standard of quality in both service and diamond selections.

refers more to how noticeable these characteristics are, rather than to how many are inside the diamond. At Fink’s we only offer diamonds that have no inclusions visible to the naked eye. What size is best? That’s strictly a personal decision. For some, a larger stone is the dream, and they might be willing to give up a little on color or clarity to stay on budget. To others, the color, cut, and clarity trump size. There is no right answer. Beyond the 4 Cs, many other questions have come across our sales counters. A popular topic is shape. What shape is the most expensive? The answer isn’t so simple. In larger diamonds, all things being equal, the round brilliant is still king. It’s timeless. It’s the most brilliant and in the highest demand. As fancy shapes such as princess, emerald, marquise, and pear float in and out of demand, prices may fluctuate based on their popularity.

GREENS JUICE This is a good way to make someone who does not like their greens simply just drink them down and actually enjoy the good taste at the same time. You can have a delicious glass of greens juice in a matter of seconds. A combination of ingredients such as spinach, collards, cucumber, and lemon juice can actually taste good, contrary to what most people might think. Not only will you be getting a lot of phytonutrients, but they also assist with hydration. SUPER HYDRATION JUICE If you are going to detox your body, one of the recommended first steps is to hydrate yourself. In general, not many people drink the recommended amount of water daily, and to make matters worse, most people are constantly dehydrated due to frequently drinking dehydrating drinks such as soda and coffee. This juice not only tastes good, it also helps to flush toxins, boost your metabolism, and provide important nutrients. This juice is a mix of coconut water, celery stalks, cucumber, and limes.

RED AND GREEN FESTIVE COCKTAIL This cocktail is a mix of pomegranate, cranberries, pear, and kale. The pomegranate alone provides a lot of antioxidants, which assist in fighting free radicals. The kale, on the other hand, provides important nutrients such as protein and fiber, as well as phytochemicals. There are also extra antioxidants contained in the cranberries. You can also add some mint to give the beverage a fresh taste. RAINBOW VEGGIE JUICE Although this juice might not necessarily look like a rainbow once you have finished preparing it, the lineup of the vegetables that are required to make the juice can easily pass as the colors of the rainbow. The ingredients you need to make this juice include peppers, carrots, tomatoes, lemons, celery, cilantro, romaine, and parsley. This juice is not only tasty, it is also packed full of healthy goodness.

Most people are under the impression that all detox drinks simply taste horrible, but this couldn’t be any further from the truth. There are so many detox diet drinks that actually taste good. It is just a matter of having the right combination of ingredients and the correct measurements. Detoxing, together with eating healthy and working out frequently, is very important if you want to live a healthy lifestyle. Below are some of the delicious detox drinks that you should try. Chances are that once you give them a chance, you will want to drink them on a regular basis. MATCHA MANGO PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE The word matcha lets you know that this smoothie is best with the authentic green tea the Japanese use in tea ceremonies. This smoothie contains a lot of antioxidant properties. The combination of the green tea, mango, and pineapple give this beverage a delicious taste, especially if you love these three ingredients. The pineapple and the mango also contain extra vitamins and nutrients which are beneficial to your body.
