T he AAA Four Diamond-rated Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is South Florida’s iconic entertainment destination. The $1.5 billion expansion was completed on Oct. 24, 2019, with the opening of the new integrated resort that includes the world’s first Guitar Hotel and seven- story Oasis Tower. Designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, The Guitar Hotel is an engineering masterpiece rising 450 feet into the sky, outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panes. The property boasts an expanded gaming floor, an ultra-luxury spa and fitness center that spans 42,000 square feet, more than two dozen innovative
dining, lounge, and entertainment options, a 7,000-capacity Hard Rock Live entertainment venue, and a collection of high-end retail shops. The resort is centrally located, 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale’s beaches and 30 minutes from Miami. The Guitar Hotel puts on a daily show-stopping extravaganza with a series of orchestrated outdoor music and light shows using LED lights built into every side of the building. The lights are programmed to change color and intensity and timed to music. The six lights mimicking guitar strings are high- powered beams projecting at least 20,000 feet of light into the night sky.
