BREAK IN YOUR SHOES (And Pack Flats for the Reception) As you walk down the aisle to your future spouse, the last thing you want to be thinking of is your feet, which is why you should break your shoes in before the big day. New shoes are a pain to walk in, literally. Try walking in them for a few weeks, just around the house to make sure they stay clean, so that they’re fully broken in before you walk down the aisle. Dancing the night away in heels is a challenge, even if you’re used to wearing them. You’ll spend most of your wedding day on your feet, so it’s smart to bring a backup pair of flats in case your feet begin to hurt. WEAR A BUTTON-UP SHIRT WHEN YOU GET YOUR HAIR DONE You’ve dedicated a lot of time to clothing recently. But chances are, you forgot to think about what you should wear the morning of the wedding. There’s a certain panic a bride exeperiences when she realizes she has to remove her shirt after getting her hair and makeup done. Thankfully, it’s an avoidable stress; simply wear a button-down shirt. You’ll be able to remove it easily without disturbing your new do. Chances are you’ve dreamed of your wedding since you were a little kid, running around with a pillowcase on your head as you imagined your happily ever after. After getting engaged, you probably spent countless days and nights planning your wedding to ensure every detail of your special day was perfect. It’s only normal, after all the dreaming and planning that you want to enjoy your magical day to the fullest. However, it’s easy for important moments to pass by in a blur.
