s many of you know, Kiefer Jewelers has been a part of your community since 1957, originally opening its doors as Village Jewel in downtown Dade City. Then, in 1997, David and Wendy Hevia took the helm, acquiring the store from its original founders, Al and Margaret Kiefer. We were committed to honoring their legacy and chose to rename the store Kiefer Village Jewels, which eventually became the Kiefer Jewelers you know and love today. Over the years, we’ve been thrilled to grow along with you. In 2002, we branched out to Lutz, Florida, and by 2006, upgraded the Lutz location to a standalone, state-of-the-art facility. We took another significant step in 2008 by becoming an Authorized Rolex Dealer, and we even added a dedicated Rolex Corner to our showroom in 2016. Family remains at the heart of our business. Our daughter Alex Hevia Schlindwein rejoined us in 2014 and now serves as the company’s Marketing Director. Alex wears many hats but she loves putting that personal touch on all of our marketing communications and our image in the community. We’ve also made several exciting changes recently. Our Dade City store has undergone both internal and external renovations, and we’ve introduced an estate jewelry boutique, adding a touch of vintage charm. Over in Lutz, we’ve installed a new wall feature and revamped the space previously occupied by Pandora into a more functional cash wrap area.
