he very word ‘passion’ elicits a powerful sense of emotion or feeling. That very essence comes through in the design of our in-house designer Robert Pelliccia’s Passion Collection, which has swiftly become adored by clients for its stunning design and craftsmanship. “When I am designing jewelry, it is like the beginning of a new romance. You have to get to know the object of your design—to fall in love with every shape, movement, and detail. It is a discovery of what works and what doesn’t,” said Robert Pelliccia. The 20-time award winning designer went through this exact process in the creation of his Passion Collection of
“Years ago, Sean asked me to redesign his wife’s engagement ring. Once I understood the general feel they were looking for, I started playing with shapes and concepts,” he said. “The idea is to take something beautiful and make it exceptional,” Pelliccia continued. Viviana and Robert sat down together and designed the ring of her dreams, all centered around a stunning emerald cut diamond.
The collection masterfully showcases the center diamond’s beauty. “It’s truly amazing how no matter what shape diamond you create it around, it comes out stunning. The ring literally turns heads, Viviana has received endless compliments on it,” said Sean Dunn. The highly loved Passion ring features three beautifully lined rows that flow along both sides of the setting, with a row of baguette diamonds in the middle. “When I finished the design, our team loved it so much that they started to show the design to their clients. Every few days they would tell me they had another order for a ‘Vivi’ ring,” he stated. “After a while, it became so in demand that it grew into ‘The Passion Collection’. To this day, this design is still one of my most loved engagement rings,” said Pelliccia.
