Romantic destinations have always ranked high among the influences on Judith Ripka’s collections, but the house’s latest jewelry has elevated that idea to showcase quixotic themes that transport your thoughts to faraway places. From its royal palaces to its iconic waltzes and the grace of its Lipizzaner horses, Vienna is the latest European city to inspire a Judith Ripka collection. Creative director Christina Caruso spent time

in the Austrian capital to capture its refined elegance in her Vienna collection. Crafted in sterling silver and 18k gold, the Vienna collection shines with a particular emphasis on the symmetry that might be found in a palace’s façade, as well as elements that evoke thoughts of horse bridles and other equestrian themes. horses since 1572, before conceptualizing designs like the Vienna wide cuff, which blends symmetry with stirrups and other equestrian-inspired elements to create a piece that feels equal parts classic and modern. Caruso also employed the on-trend mix of sterling silver and yellow gold in her Vienna single-link hoop earrings and double- link stud earrings, while her Vienna bypass ring combines an equestrian motif with a stacked look and a silver-gold combination, resulting in a piece that effortlessly transitions from day to evening.
