In 2024, we’re blending tradition with a fresh sense of innovation. Of course, we love reminiscing about our rich history, but let’s be honest — what really excites us is the future we’re creating with you. As such, we’ve recently unveiled our newly expanded store, bringing even more of the world’s finest diamonds, the
most exquisite jewels, and innovative timepieces to you. Every piece we curate has a story, and we travel the globe with you in mind — thinking about how these collections can become part of your journey. As a family-owned business, we’re creating space for the next generation of Alson leaders; a new wave of talent and fresh perspective that respects our heritage and maintains our core values. Our fifth generation of family jewelers began with Chad’s son Jesse in 2020, and now continues to flourish with Jesse’s brother Kyle, and David’s sons, Jason & Matthew.

Our decision to enlarge and enhance came from our desire to evolve. Our goal was not just to meet but exceed the expectations of all our cherished clients. Staying true to the mission of our legacy, we are em- bracing progress with the ambition of offering an unparalleled shopping experience, one that you won’t find anywhere else in the Midwest. “When customers walk in, they’ll immediately experience some- thing they’ve never encountered in Cleveland,” said fourth generation owners David and Chad Schreibman. “It’s like stepping into a store on Madison Avenue in New York City.” As our clients make their way into our dazzling 11,400-square-foot showroom, they will instantly realize that this newly designed interior is not only bigger but also a complete, modern transformation of elegance and comfort. We have created stunningly unique boutiques within the space, featuring exclusive designs from Rolex, Cartier, and David Yur- man. We are proud and excited about our newest additions, Panerai and Chopard, both of which have glorious and luxurious domains that showcase exquisite craftsmanship. We, as a family and as a business, give merit to our elaborate history, thus highlighting our legacy with an intricate “Through The Years” history wall, so that all can become versed in the chronological record of how we have evolved in our 93 years. This cherished area celebrates

our journey from our humble beginnings in the late 1870s to our current status as a community cornerstone of luxury and service. It is a heartfelt tribute to the generations of family who have demonstrated invaluable dedication, determination, and guidance, all of whom have been our inspiration. This furtive look into our past predicates our future. In 2020, Chad’s son Jesse joined the family business, marking the beginning of the fifth generation for Alson Jewelers. Jesse felt he was destined for this, always probing and interested in all things jewelry since he was a little boy. Jesse attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) a year after college graduation, and after completing his Graduate Gemologist de- gree, worked for a diamond distributor and subsequently worked sell- ing luxury timepieces for a well-known watch boutique in New York City. “Joining the family business was a natural progression for me. After earning my Graduate Gemologist Degree and gaining relevant work experience in New York City, my focused goal of working along- side my family came to fruition,” Jesse said. Chad’s son Kyle came on board in May 2024. Kyle graduated with an Informatics & Computer Science degree, but after several years in that field, realized his dream of working alongside his dad and brother. After attaining his Graduate Diamond & Colored Gemstone Degree at the GIA, and prior to his return to Cleveland, he worked at a promi- nent multi-generational family jewelry business in New York, where he learned about the inner workings of being part of a family business. Kyle echoes his brother’s sentiments. “Becoming part of that fifth genera- tion is something special,” he said. “While I thought I would go a differ- ent route with data analytics, it was hard to stay away from diamonds, watches, and jewelry — things I’d grown up around and known about my entire life. It feels good to be back.” Continuing tradition, David’s son Jason joined the team in Sep- tember 2024. After working in commercial real estate in New York City, Jason earned his Graduate Gemologist Degree from the GIA and worked for a luxury jewelry and watch store in New York City before returning to Cleveland. “I gained a lot of knowledge and experience during my time in New York, all of which prepared me to join the fam- ily business,” Jason said. “It’s great to be back in my hometown and I’m excited to see our Alson business grow.” David’s son Matthew, who also earned his Graduate Gemologist
degree from the GIA, recently moved back to Cleveland after spend- ing time in New York working for an online jewelry and watch auction company. “Coming home was always something I wanted to do. T The 60th-anniversary edition of the Porsche 911 S/T is a commemorative lightweight edition built to extract as much driving enjoyment from the 911 platform as possible. It’s a collector’s item from day one, with a limited run of 1,963 units. The directive to the engineers at Porsche was simple: create a purpose-built machine for a pure, undiluted driving experience.
The starting point was the original 911 S version from 1969, tweaked for competitive racing. The new 911 S/T embodies the spirit of the original 911 S for the current generation of the venerable Porsche 911. It’s the lightest model of its generation, at 3,056 lbs., or 70 lbs. lighter than its sibling, the manual GT3 Touring. Many components, including the hood, roof, doors, and front
fenders, are crafted from carbon fiber- reinforced plastic. Insulation and rear-axle steering were left off the assembly list to save a few pounds. The magnesium wheels and ceramic composite brakes omit additional unnecessary weight. These engineering decisions contribute to agile and direct handling.

Engaging the accelerator puts the pieces in motion, with the exclusive lightweight single-mass flywheel encouraging the naturally aspirated 518 hp, 4.0 L boxer engine to build revs with refreshing directness.
With the short gear ratio on the six-speed manual transmission, the 911 S/T peaks at 9,000 rpm on its way to a top speed of 186 mph, passing 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
With the lightweight flywheel, a firm hand on the gearshift is required to finesse each gear change. The autoblip function does take some of the stress out of coordinating downshifts.
With less insulation and lightweight glass, it’s noisier inside than an average 911, but that’s not all bad. Rather than overwhelming wind or tire noise, you can hear the interactions of the parts orchestrating a symphony of mechanical delights. With only 1,963 examples available worldwide, consider yourself fortunate to see one, let alone own one. The consolation prize is the standard 911 GT3 Touring, which would be the gold medal if you didn’t know the S/T existed.

The first is the Santos de Cartier Skeleton with a 39.8 mm wide stainless steel case, sapphire crystals on both sides, and a steel bracelet with a SmartLink adjustment system. An additional alligator skin strap is provided. The open- worked dial is home to blued- steel sword-shaped hands that point to skeletonized bridges forming Roman numerals while the seven-sided crown is set with a faceted sapphire. Inside the 100-meter water-resistant case is the Caliber 9611 MC automatic movement. The remaining pair are stainless steel Santos de Cartier models, which retain the signature style of the original aviator watch. The Santos de Cartier medium model features a 35.1 mm case, furnished with a graduated blue dial. Conversely, the Santos de Cartier large
model includes a 39.8 mm steel case, fitted with a graduated green dial. Both versions benefit from Cartier’s QuickSwitch interchangeable system, which means the integrated stainless steel bracelet can be easily swapped out with the leather strap that accompanies each watch (a blue strap for the blue dial medium model and a green strap for the green dial large model). What’s more, both watches run on the in- house Caliber 1847 automatic movement and include seven- sided crowns each set with a synthetic faceted blue spinel.
