CELEBRATING 25 YEARS WITH A TWIST

F

For a quarter of a century, nestled in the hills of Vicenza, craftsmanship and creativity have intertwined, whispering contemporary elegance and dancing with light to capture timeless beauty. Marco Bicego has always interpreted this through a modern language that resonates with today’s woman. His pieces are wearable constellations, born from the alchemy of blending age-old techniques with innovative vision, creating an unmistakable aesthetic signature.

The brand’s most anticipated launch of its 25th anniversary year — Lunaria Twist — offers a modern play on a classic style. Delicate and alluring in its shapes, the collection is a contemporary marvel in its craftsmanship technique. Right before completion, the gold leaf is gently twisted, differentiating it from

other Lunaria styles. Just as its curved leaves brilliantly capture and reflect light, the collection itself is a luminous tribute to the past 25 years, while embracing an inspired vision for the future.

10 | DAVIS JEWELERS

Much like a composer, Marco crafts symphonies using both traditional and modern instruments, attuned to contemporary sensibilities. His remarkable feel for color mirrors that of a painter who selects each shade with deliberate care, knowing every hue tells its own unique story. These are emotions that flow seamlessly into everyday life, brilliant personal journeys where materials reveal their distinct character through textures that speak of time and transformation — radiant fragments of eternity. When worn, these masterpieces remind us that true beauty holds something universal, touching the hearts of every generation. A quarter of a century marked by distinctive style, technical daring, and that irresistible Italian flair. Yesterday, today, always.

David Yurman ICONIC SCULPTED CABLE AND STARBURST COLLECTIONS

F

Founded by a David Yurman, a sculptor, and his wife Sybil, a painter and ceramicist, David Yurman jewelry is designed with innovative artistry and meticulous craftsmanship. Today, led by their son Evan, the house of Yurman is renowned for its timeless heirlooms, crafted to be lived in and worn effortlessly. The new house icon, Sculpted Cable is a modern interpretation of David Yurman’s signature Cable motif. Inspired by his love of classical architecture and bas relief sculpture, Evan Yurman brings this graceful form to life in sculpted

precious metals, intricately carved with mesmerizing wavelike patterns to catch the light. These elegant shapes highlight the sensuality of the body, elegantly set with pavé diamonds for added brilliance. Crafted with state-of-the-art flexibility technology, the collection’s latest Sculpted Cable Flex designs deliver exceptional comfort and ease of wear.

12 | DAVIS JEWELERS

The iconic Starburst collection captures a once-in-a-lifetime moment shared between David and Sybil. One night in Paris, the artists caught the breathtaking sight of fireworks illuminating the sky above the Eiffel Tower. This display of light deeply moved Sybil, inspiring David to create brilliant star motifs. Carefully selected for their brilliance, pavé diamonds are meticulously hand-set in polished precious metals, replicating the stunning celebration of light.

For Roberto Coin, fine jewelry is not just an accessory but an expression of artistry, culture, and individuality. Since founding his brand in 1996, Coin has dedicated himself to creating pieces that transcend time, bringing Italian craftsmanship and global inspiration together in a way that has captivated the luxury world. From the beginning, This philosophy extends beyond design and into the very DNA of his brand. Each creation is marked by a hidden ruby, a signature detail inspired by ancient Egyptian legend. Coin was drawn to the belief that rubies, worn close to the skin, bring prosperity and happiness. That is his personal wish for every woman who wears his jewelry — an intimate, unseen gesture of good fortune. A Visionary in the Art of Jewelry roberto coin

diversity and creativity have been at the heart of his vision. Unlike other designers who build their brand around a single recognizable motif, Coin has always sought endless reinvention, ensuring that no two collections feel the same. His mission is clear: rather than offering the same piece to every woman, his goal is to craft a different masterpiece for each, celebrating the unique beauty and personality of the wearer.

SOME DESIGNERS CREATE JEWELRY. OTHERS REDEFINE IT.

14 | DAVIS JEWELERS

Pairing these philosophies and creations, Coin manages to balance tradition and innovation, making his brand one of the most dynamic forces in modern jewelry. At his Italian atelier, master artisans — some with decades of experience, others with fresh, modern perspectives — work side by side to bring his visions to life. Their process is one of meticulous craftsman- ship, where time-honored techniques merge with cutting-edge advancements to create jewelry that is both timeless and groundbreaking. Beyond the world of jewelry, Coin is recognized as a pioneering spirit in fashion and design. His collections have graced the red carpet, appeared on the pages of top luxury

publications, and influenced trends across the industry. Yet, despite his global recognition, his approach remains deeply personal. Every piece tells a story — a reflection of his own endless curiosity and passion for the arts.

FOR ROBERTO COIN, CREATIVITY IS FREEDOM, AND JEWELRY IS MORE THAN JUST AN ADORNMENT — IT IS A STATEMENT OF IDENTITY. WITH AN EVER-EVOLVING VISION AND AN UNRELENTING DRIVE TO SURPRISE, HE CONTINUES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF LUXURY, ONE MASTERPIECE AT A TIME.

JOHN HARDY MARKS 50 YEARS WITH BOLD NEW VISION FROM REED KRAKOFF

T

The Balinese-born brand celebrates its golden anniversary with heritage reissues, new stores, and a fresh creative direction.

This year marks half a century of John Hardy — a major milestone for the Bali-based jewelry house known for artisanal craftsmanship, cultural symbolism, and sustainability. Founded in 1975 by Canadian artist John Hardy, the brand gained recognition for its handwoven chains, mythological motifs, and commitment to community and the

environment. Now, under the creative leadership of Reed Krakoff, John Hardy enters a bold new chapter rooted in heritage but oriented firmly toward the future. To mark its five-decade legacy, the brand has launched two commemorative collections: Icon 50 and Spear 50. Icon 50 reimagines John Hardy’s beloved heritage chain as a modern

statement piece, available in sterling silver, gold, and pavé diamond variations. Spear 50 revisits one of Krakoff’s own designs from his early tenure at the house, embuing it with Balinese symbolism and a refined, sculptural aesthetic. Together, the collections reflect a brand at the crossroads of legacy and innovation.

22 | DAVIS JEWELERS

THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES WITH SPEAR SLIM, A CONTEMPORARY 4 MM CUFF DESIGNED FOR EFFORTLESS STACKING — A NOD TO THE BRAND’S ABILITY TO MEET MODERN STYLE PREFERENCES WHILE MAINTAINING ARTISANAL INTEGRITY.

Krakoff, who joined John Hardy as creative chairman in 2022, brings decades of industry experience and a minimalist eye honed at Coach and Tiffany & Co. Since taking the helm, he has introduced the high fine Artisan series, launched in fall 2024, showcasing rare diamonds and precious gemstones in 18K yellow and white gold. He’s also expanded existing collections like Surf, Pebble, and Love Knot, and ushered in collaborations with names including Athena Calderone (spring

2025), Todd Snyder, and Wölffer Estate. His approach has balanced reverence for traditional Balinese craftsmanship with a clean, contemporary design language, helping John Hardy reach new audiences while deepening loyalty among longtime fans. The anniversary coincides with physical expansion, including new retail locations at Rockefeller Center in New York and Miami’s Design District, both opened in late 2024. These flagship stores underscore the brand’s

growing luxury positioning, alongside a successful shop-in-shop at Saks Palm Beach Gardens and a robust wholesale presence. As John Hardy celebrates 50 years, it continues to honor the values on which it was founded — community, artisanship, and sustainability — while embracing change through visionary leadership. With Reed Krakoff steering the creative direction, the brand is poised not just to celebrate its past but to define the next era of modern jewelry design.

Colorado Springs

Walking by our table, the maître-d of the Golden Bee subtly flicked a small, embroidered honey bee at each of our lapels like a behind-the-back Jordan pass. It landed perfectly, leaving a startling yet welcome reminder of our dinner at this Irish pub. The Golden Bee is one of The Broadmoor’s signature dining experiences, but it’s only an introduction to a sweeping monument to comfort and connections. Local industrialists Spencer and Julia Penrose brought their singular vision of a grand European hotel to life on the southwest edge of Colorado Springs, nestled at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. Stepping into the west lobby of the Broadmoor is like stepping back in time to 1919 when the Forbes Five-Star Resort opened its doors. Like the original stained glass ceiling panels and Italian Renaissance flair, The Broadmoor remains unwavering in its commitment to providing an exceptional experience more than a century later.

The Golden Bee Irish Pub

The West Lobby The Broodmoor Resort

24 | DAVIS JEWELERS

Culinary Comfort My first stop at the Broadmoor was The Golden Bee, an authentic 19th-century English pub that was shipped and reconstructed, panel by panel, in 1961. The pub remains an authentically cozy atmosphere of warm woods and traditional craftsmanship, perfectly recreating the feel of a familiar neighborhood watering hole from the old country. It’s just one of many dining options, from the French-influenced La Tarverne to the rustic Restaurant 1858, located at the base of the majestic Seven Falls series of waterfalls. Seated at Ristorante Del Lago with a glass of Italian red and fresh house-made pasta, it would be easy to convince yourself you’ve been transported to the elegant shores of Lake Como. Fine dining is just the beginning of the Broadmoor experience. Top Golf The 2025 US Senior Open was played on the East Course, perched in the foothills of the Cheyenne Mountains at an elevation of more than 6,300 feet. The East Course is renowned for its expansive, tree-lined fairways and wide, well-maintained greens. In contrast, the West Course is tighter off the tee, featuring rolling fairways, heavily tree-lined holes, and breathtaking views of both the mountains and Colorado Springs. A perfect blend of natural beauty and rich history!

Lodging Locations Guest rooms evoke the finest European luxury hotels, complemented by modern comforts. An array of rooms and suites offer views of the Rockies’ purple mountain’s majesty or the twin lakes behind the main hotel building. The Penrose suite may be the pinnacle of accommodations. It’s the well-preserved apartment of Mrs. Julie Penrose, who lived there from 1944 until 1957. The suite was left essentially intact, with only sympathetic upgrades to modern amenities. If you’d like more room, cottages and brownstones can accommodate family or corporate gatherings with enhanced privacy and superior service. For the ultimate group setting, the estate house features five bedrooms, a grand parlor that accommodates up to 60 guests, an opulent dining room with seating for 16, and a gourmet kitchen ideally suited for any occasion. Architect Thomas MacLaren oversaw the design and construction in the late 1920s, and the home was expanded in the 1930s to create a sanctuary just steps from the resort’s main campus. Additionally, The Broadmoor has earned a spot as a top wedding destination, and the convention center caters to both work and play business events. Elite Excursions Pike’s Peak is the star attraction in the region. You can hike up it, take a bus, or, my favorite, ride the Cog Railway. It’s a 3.5-hour round-trip tour, and depending on how many donuts you eat at the café, it’s easy to doze off on the return trip. Broadmoor Outfitters can plan more active excursions, from hiking to fly fishing. Adventurous souls will enjoy the Broadmoor Soaring Adventure, which consists of 10 zip lines among two courses that range from 250 feet to 1,800 feet. You’ll need to be prepared for moderate hiking, traversing rope bridges, and a controlled 180-foot rappel that features stunning views of the waterfalls and the canyon below. Popular hiking options include easy trails winding through the sandstone formations of the Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Open Space, the forested gateway views of North Cheyenne Cañon, or the more strenuous Section 16 trail.

T

The Black Bay line has become one of Tudor’s most recognizable pillars, known for pairing tool-watch durability with vintage design cues. This year, Tudor expands the collection with new models that build on the Black Bay’s signature aesthetic while pushing it in new directions — some subtle, others more daring. Rooted in Tudor’s dive watch history from the 1950s and the “Snowflake” hands of 1969, the Black Bay line draws from history while embracing modern materials and manufacturing. Oris The Refreshed

Big Crown Pointer Date Collection

F First introduced in 1938, the Big Crown Pointer Date has become one of Oris’s most recognizable designs. Originally developed for pilots, its oversized crown was easy to grip while wearing gloves, and its central date hand tipped with a red arrow made the dial highly legible. What began as a practical aviator’s tool has evolved into Oris’s signature model, a watch that bridges the brand’s history with its present. For 2025, Oris breathes new life into the Big Crown Pointer Date with fresh updates and colorful dials. The new collection spans three editions, two case sizes, and a variety of dial colors. A new H-link stainless steel bracelet also joins the lineup, offering a sportier option alongside sustainable deer leather straps developed in collaboration with Cervo Volante. At the top of the range is the 40 mm Big Crown Pointer Date Caliber 403, distinguished by its running seconds subdial and Oris’s five-day automatic movement. Available with either a green or terracotta dial, both offered on a brown strap or a steel bracelet, these models bring modern technical prowess to the line while preserving its vintage-inspired appeal.

GREAT DESIGN NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE; IT SIMPLY REINVENTS ITSELF FOR EACH GENERATION.

In addition to the flagship, the collection also welcomes three Big Crown Pointer Date models, offered in vibrant yellow, lilac, or blue dials. Powered by the Oris 754 automatic movement with 41 hours of power reserve, they highlight the joyful side of the Pointer Date while preserving the model’s robust functionality that has kept it relevant for decades. Rounding out the refreshed lineup is the new 34 mm Big Crown, available with either a textured beige dial or a diamond-set black dial. Running on the Oris 531 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, these compact no-date editions are paired with steel bracelets. What makes the Big Crown Pointer Date so enduring is its balance of heritage and modernity. Nearly 90 years on, it remains faithful to its aviation roots while adapting to contemporary tastes with new sizes, bracelets, and colorways. It’s a watch that proves great design never goes out of style; it simply reinvents itself for each generation.

GRACEFULLY EXPRESSING JAPAN’S CLASSIC BEAUTY Since its introduction in 2016, the Presage collection has melded Japanese artistry with Seiko’s longstanding mastery of mechanical watchmaking. The Presage Classic Series draws from the colors, materials, and textures of traditional crafts to express the sophisticated side of Japanese design. The series makes its debut with several new creations, each conveying a traditional sense of Japanese beauty while highlighting the exceptional mechanical watchmaking for which Seiko is renowned. MODEL FEATURED: SPB463

RICHLY TEXTURED DIALS At the heart of the Classic Series are richly textured dials that express the soft and supple feel of the natural textiles that are interwoven into Japan’s culture. The series features three-hand models and open-heart variations evoking lustrous silk fabric in hues inspired by time-honored Japanese dyeing techniques. With their curvature and intricately textured patterns, the dials capture and reflect ambient light to create a heightened sense of depth and beauty while each watch imparts a warm luster to the traditional Japanese color it expresses. MODEL FEATURED: SPB524

COMFORT, STYLE, AND EXCEPTIONAL MECHANICAL WATCHMAKING The case is designed with soft, curved surfaces, and the dual- curved sapphire crystal echoes the contours of the dome- shaped dial, adding further depth to the overall design. A newly developed multi-row bracelet with design inspiration from the 1970s provides a delicate and comfortable fit, achieved by employing links with an ergonomic shape that have a curved top surface and reducing the number of contact points around the wrist. In addition to the impressive exterior elements, each model is equipped with Seiko’s in-house 6R automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve—truly reflecting the principle of Japanese beauty crafted into a mechanical timepiece. THE SPORT FOR(E) EVERYONE GOLF

THERE AREN’T MANY SPORTS WHERE AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD, A COLLEGE KID, AND A RETIREE CAN ALL STEP ONTO THE SAME PLAYING FIELD AND COMPETE — SOMETIMES WITH EERILY SIMILAR RESULTS. GOLF IS ONE OF THOSE RARE GEMS. WHETHER YOU’RE OUT FOR A CASUAL ROUND WITH GIRLFRIENDS, JOINING A CLUB TO EXPAND YOUR GENTLEMAN’S CIRCLE, OR JUST TRYING TO RECLAIM YOUR DIGNITY AFTER AN UNFORTUNATE SAND-TRAP INCIDENT, GOLF IS A SPORT THAT TRULY SPANS GENERATIONS.

38 | DAVIS JEWELERS

But let’s be honest — golf is just as much about the company as it is about the game. Unlike other sports where you’re gasping for air or dodging flying objects, golf allows for actual conversation. There’s time to catch up, share stories, and even make a few friendly wagers (because that’s what keeps it interesting, right?). A round of golf has a natural rhythm — walk, swing, chat, repeat — making it the perfect backdrop for bonding with family, friends, or even potential business connections.

HEALTH-WISE, IT’S A STEALTHY LITTLE WORKOUT. WALKING 18 HOLES CAN CLOCK IN AT FIVE MILES — IF YOU SKIP THE GOLF CART (BUT WE WON’T JUDGE IF YOU DON’T). PLUS, THAT SMOOTH, FLUID GOLF SWING? IT’S DOING WONDERS FOR YOUR FLEXIBILITY AND MOBILITY, SOMETHING YOU’LL APPRECIATE WELL INTO YOUR GOLDEN YEARS.

And then there’s the setting. Unlike the chaos of everyday life, golf offers wide-open fairways, fresh air, and a chance to disconnect from screens and schedules. It’s just you (and your golf buddies in some cases), the course, and the occasional squirrel stealing your granola bar. So whether you’re a seasoned player or someone who still yells “fore” more out of panic than precision, golf is a game you can enjoy for a lifetime. And who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll finally figure out how to fix that slice.

CAT-EYE NECKLINES The cat-eye neckline is defined by the sharp and angular edges pointing up towards the shoulders. Haute couture dresses for formalwear and now bridalwear are dominating the modern bride scene. Paired with the basque waist, it offers drama, sexiness, and comes off as powerful and confident as it stunningly highlights the arms and shoulders. Meow!

BASQUE WAISTS What is old can be new again! The Victorian era of the 1800s has always influenced today’s designers, but the onslaught of basque waistlines currently in vogue — characterized by their V or U shape coming to a point below the natural waistline — elongate the body beautifully and elegantly.

BUBBLE HEMS No one will mistake who the bride is when she enters the room in one of these voluminous powerhouses. Ultra-feminine yet modern, this look gives you a show-stopping moment with ballroom elegance. Especially lovely, and perfect for convertible wedding dresses as you go from day formal to night party and dance at the reception.

LACE-UP LOOKS Corset designs are not a thing of the past when the details are on full display on the front. Lace-up details front and center as opposed to on the back have now become a unique design detail rather than a hidden trick. The contour makes the fit more easily perfect and at the same time pushes it forward in time. There are a lot of variations out there on this theme.

A SCARF MOMENT Does anything look more Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn, or Grace Kelly than a bride’s neck draped gracefully in a simple chiffon scarf? Not only stunning down the aisle but imagine a flowing scarf in those wedding pictures with a slight breeze blowing. Whoa! The perfect alternative to the more traditional bridal veil, they look best with a lower neckline and bare arms.

DETACHABLE TOPS What may be the most desirable new trend also seems the most obvious. Wedding dresses usually are a one and done but thanks to the fashion trend of mixing high-end and low-end, who wouldn’t want to wear their wedding dress corset with a pair of faded jeans while on your honeymoon? An ingenious way to take that amazing memory with you on any night on the town.

DROP THAT WAIST The Jazz Age of the 1920s returns with vengeance. For the bride looking for something both modern and classic, the drop waist is very popular again as well as vintage. On the right gal, it can be very flattering, elongating, and eye-catching, offering up a lovely silhouette.

TRICKY TOPPING Revealing sheer beads or lace is a big part of the fashion scene in ready-wear in 2025. It makes perfect sense that the detachable trend also comes into play with light, playful tops and/or sleeves that can go from that “I do” moment to “party like it’s 1999” afterwards.

AVANT GARDE For those looking to create a stir, jaw-dropping sculptural gowns dripping with unique angles and/or lots of ruffles will leave your guests speechless. These museum- worthy designs combine the abstract with creativity and push the limits by bending fabric into modern artwork.

THE ENGAGEMENT

By Jennifer Brugh

from

Love Story

It was the engagement heard round the world, breaking the internet on a random Tuesday. But while everyone else was focused on how Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce broke the news, we couldn’t help but notice the what — a stunning custom-made engagement ring sporting an old-mine-cut cushion diamond in an 18k gold setting. A nod to the 18th and 19th centuries, the most historical engagement ring on the planet is telling us one thing: we’re entering an exciting new era in bridal!

USHERING IN A NEW ERA IN BRIDAL

Yellow Gold Yellow gold is reclaiming center stage, and for good reason. Its buttery warmth flatters every skin tone and instantly lends modern rings a sense of history. Its soft hue reads luxe yet lived-in, dressing up a sleek, round brilliant or framing an antique- leaning cut with ease. Whether you love a tapered shank, a bezel-kissed profile, or delicate engraving, yellow gold sets the mood for such a romantic occasion.

Big Solitaires The solitaire is stepping into the spotlight again — bolder, lower, and more considered. Today’s solitaire silhouettes highlight presence without the pretense. Think a low and effortless setting, a pared band that lets the diamond sing, with side notes that complement the center stone, rather than compete with it. Solitaires are making a comeback in a big way and can take your love story from classic romance to living legend.

Fancy Cuts

The season belongs to soft corners and old-world charm. Elongated cushions and old mine cuts exude unabashed romance, with larger, antique- style facets that shimmer in any light. If the popstar’s new bling caught your eye, then you’ll love a center stone that favors character over conformity. And if you’re into numerology, an old-mine-cut cushion has 58 facets: 5+8=13!

Taylor’s ring is inspiring elongated diamond cuts, solitaire settings, and vintage details.
