Pasquale Bruni’s affinity for natural elements merges with the lunar romance of a celestial world in the new Ton Joli and Petit Joli Lunaire collections. Soft and whimsical as a moonlit garden, these designs feature Pasquale Bruni’s iconic five-sided floral motif in green agate, mother-of-pearl, and onyx gems set with moonstone doublets to create a silky shimmer that echoes the phases of the moon. Subtle yet show-stopping, these ethereal gems glow in sumptuous 18-karat rose gold accentuated with twinkling diamonds, in a series of bewitching bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Heller Jewelers and Always Dream
Jewels with Impact
At the intersection of fine jewelry and philanthropy, Heller Jewelers has proven that luxury can leave a lasting legacy. Through its collaboration with Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream, the San Ramon jeweler has transformed the sale of its Always Dream necklace collection into life-changing opportunities for Bay Area children and families. In 2024, the collection generated $27,432.50 in donations, funds that opened doors to early literacy programs at two local schools. The initiative directly supported 151 children from 60 families, putting digital books into little hands, providing parents with the tools to foster learning at home, and offering personalized coaching that empowers entire households. At LUCHA Elementary in San Jose, students and families read over 1,400 books and logged more than 4,000 minutes on tablets. Turner Elementary in Antioch saw similarly inspiring engagement, with participants reading 1,641 books and recording nearly 10,000 minutes of learning time. A winter reading challenge brought these efforts to life, ending with a joyful classroom celebration hosted by Kristi Yamaguchi and Heller Jewelers’ Sarah Heller — an important reminder that learning can be both fun and transformative. For Heller Jewelers, the Always Dream partnership reflects a philosophy that fine jewelry should not only be beautiful but also purposeful. Each necklace represents craftsmanship and carries the promise of a brighter future for a child discovering the joy of reading. The collection remains available at Heller Jewelers’ City Center Bishop Ranch boutique, inviting clients to take part in this ongoing story. Because when luxury is paired with vision, it can change lives: one child, one family, one book at a time.

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT
roberto coin
Some designers create jewelry. Others redefine it.
A Visionary in the Art of Jewelry
For Roberto Coin, fine jewelry is not just an accessory but an expression of artistry, culture, and individuality. Since founding his brand in 1996, Coin has dedicated himself to creating pieces that transcend time, bringing Italian craftsmanship and global inspiration together in a way that has captivated the luxury world.
From the beginning, diversity and creativity have been at the heart of his vision. Unlike other designers who build their brand around a single recognizable motif, Coin has always sought endless reinvention, ensuring that no two collections feel the same. His mission is clear: rather than offering the same piece to every woman, his goal is to craft a different masterpiece for each, celebrating the unique beauty and personality of the wearer.
This philosophy extends beyond design and into the very DNA of his brand. Each creation is marked by a hidden ruby, a signature detail inspired by ancient Egyptian legend. Coin was drawn to the belief that rubies, worn close to the skin, bring prosperity and happiness. That is his personal wish for every woman who wears his jewelry — an intimate, unseen gesture of good fortune.
22 | HELLER JEWELERS MAGAZINE
By Jennifer Brugh
Pairing these philosophies and creations, Coin manages to balance tradition and innovation, making his brand one of the most dynamic forces in modern jewelry. At his Italian atelier, master artisans — some with decades of experience, others with fresh, modern perspectives — work side by side to bring his visions to life. Their process is one of meticulous craftsman- ship, where time-honored techniques merge with cutting-edge advancements to create jewelry that is both timeless and groundbreaking.
Beyond the world of jewelry, Coin is recognized as a pioneering spirit in fashion and design. His collections have graced the red carpet, appeared on the pages of top luxury publications, and influenced trends across the industry. Yet, despite his global recognition, his approach remains deeply personal. Every piece tells a story — a reflection of his own endless curiosity and passion for the arts.
FOR ROBERTO COIN, CREATIVITY IS FREEDOM, AND JEWELRY IS MORE THAN JUST AN ADORNMENT — IT IS A STATEMENT OF IDENTITY. WITH AN EVER-EVOLVING VISION AND AN UNRELENTING DRIVE TO SURPRISE, HE CONTINUES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF LUXURY, ONE MASTERPIECE AT A TIME.

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS WITH A TWIST
F
For a quarter of a century, nestled in the hills of Vicenza, craftsmanship and creativity have intertwined, whispering contemporary elegance, dancing with light to capture timeless beauty. Marco Bicego has always interpreted this through a modern language that resonates with today’s woman. His pieces are wearable constellations, born from the alchemy of blending age-old techniques with innovative vision, creating an unmistakable aesthetic signature.
The brand’s most anticipated launch of its 25th anniversary year — Lunaria Twist — offers a modern play on a classic style. Delicate and alluring in its shapes, the collection is a contemporary marvel in its craftsmanship technique. Right before completion, the gold leaf is gently twisted, differentiating it from
other Lunaria styles. Just as its curved leaves brilliantly capture and reflect light, the collection itself is a luminous tribute to the past 25 years, while embracing an inspired vision for the future.
24 | HELLER JEWELERS MAGAZINE
Much like a composer, Marco crafts symphonies using both traditional and modern instruments, attuned to contemporary sensibilities. His remarkable feel for color mirrors that of a painter who selects each shade with deliberate care, knowing every hue tells its own unique story. These are emotions that flow seamlessly into everyday life, brilliant personal journeys where materials reveal their distinct character through textures that speak of time and transformation — radiant fragments of eternity. When worn, these masterpieces remind us that true beauty holds something universal, touching the hearts of every generation. A quarter of a century marked by distinctive style, technical daring, and that irresistible Italian flair. Yesterday, today, always.

The modern bridal shopper is sophisticated and smart — they want a ring that is both practical and beautiful, a design that suits their lifestyle and thrills their heart. But how can anyone find their perfect ring in a world with so many options? Step one is to determine what, exactly, you’re looking for — and it’s okay to ask for help! Let’s tackle some common dilemmas for engagement ring shoppers and see what solutions we can find. Q: Everyone I know has a round diamond in their engagement ring. I want something different! What should I ask for? A: If you like angles, consider an Asscher cut: a gorgeous square style famous for its “hall of mirrors” effect. If you prefer curves, soft elongated shapes like pear, marquise, and oval are glamorous and so flattering to the finger.
Q: I’m a vet tech, so I spend all day working with animals. I love my job, but it’s messy and chaotic. What’s an engagement ring I can wear safely at work?
A: You’re going to want a low-profile ring with a diamond that sits low on your finger so it won’t get caught on excited puppy paws! Consider a bezel setting: this sleek style has a low circle of gold that secures the center stone to the band, instead of dainty prongs, so it holds up better under physical stress.
Q: I want my engagement ring to feel special and unusual, but I’m not a big fan of elaborate styles, and I don’t want a dark ruby or sapphire either. A: Have you considered a yellow diamond? They work in any kind of setting and they look like wearable sunshine!
26 | HELLER JEWELERS MAGAZINE
Let our artisans create a fresh new look for your heirlooms.
Q: My boyfriend wants to propose to me with his grandmother’s ring, but I hate it! I feel awful, but it’s so busy and I like minimalist jewelry. A: A jeweler can take the center diamond out of the family ring and put it in a chic new solitaire setting for you, either before the proposal or after the wedding, if you’d like to keep grandma’s setting for the big day. You’ll still have the sentimentality of the heirloom diamond, but in a brand-new ring that feels true to you.
Q: Why do engagement rings always have diamonds? I like colorful gemstones!
A: Diamonds may be the traditional choice, but there’s no reason you can’t have a colored gemstone engagement ring! Kate Middleton did it, and so did Jackie Kennedy. Just remember that not all gems are strong enough to resist chipping or cracking with daily wear.
Q: How can I make my engagement ring feel more meaningful than any other ring I own? A: What about a secret message? A jeweler can engrave your wedding date, your names or initials, or even an inside joke or meaningful phrase on your ring. You can even get half of a phrase on your ring and the other half on your partner’s ring to really tie things together.
Q: I like the look of multiple bigger diamonds. Not a halo, but I still want my engagement ring to feel like an engagement ring. What should I look for? A: I think you’d love a toi et moi or a three-stone ring! A toi et moi has two large center stones rather than one, and it’s the perfect way to represent you and your partner being joined forever. A three-stone style has one big diamond with a slightly smaller stone on either side and is said to represent the past, present, and future of a relationship.

THE ENGAGEMENT
By Jennifer Brugh
from
Love Story
It was the engagement heard round the world, breaking the internet on a random Tuesday. But while everyone else was focused on how Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce broke the news, we couldn’t help but notice the what — a stunning custom-made engagement ring sporting an old-mine-cut cushion diamond in an 18k gold setting. A nod to the 18th and 19th centuries, the most historical engagement ring on the planet is telling us one thing: we’re entering an exciting new era in bridal!
to
Legendary
USHERING IN A NEW ERA IN BRIDAL
Yellow Gold Yellow gold is reclaiming center stage, and for good reason. Its buttery warmth flatters every skin tone and instantly lends modern rings a sense of history. Its soft hue reads luxe yet lived-in, dressing up a sleek, round brilliant or framing an antique- leaning cut with ease. Whether you love a tapered shank, a bezel-kissed profile, or delicate engraving, yellow gold sets the mood for such a romantic occasion.
Big Solitaires The solitaire is stepping into the spotlight again — bolder, lower, and more considered. Today’s solitaire silhouettes highlight presence without the pretense. Think a low and effortless setting, a pared band that lets the diamond sing, with side notes that complement the center stone, rather than compete with it. Solitaires are making a comeback in a big way and can take your love story from classic romance to living legend.
Fancy Cuts
The season belongs to soft corners and old-world charm. Elongated cushions and old mine cuts exude unabashed romance, with larger, antique- style facets that shimmer in any light. If the popstar’s new bling caught your eye, then you’ll love a center stone that favors character over conformity. And if you’re into numerology, an old mine cut cushion has 58 facets: 5+8=13!
Taylor’s ring is inspiring elongated diamond cuts, solitaire settings, and vintage details.

Amazing pink sand beach in Budelli Island, Maddalena Archipelago, Sardinia, Italy
Boasting miles of tropical beaches, quaint villages, secret coves, and crystal-blue waters, Europe has some of the most pristine seaside destinations in the world. Here are a few of the best European beach destinations we recommend. SARDINIA, ITALY A prime Italian beach destination, Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean. In this tropical-like hideaway, hidden coves and beaches, including the beguiling Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach) on Budelli island, will provide the perfect inspiration for your Instagram-worthy holiday photos. The island’s summer hotspot since the 1960s has been the alluring Costa Smeralda, with its 12 miles of white sand beaches, exclusive hotels, golf clubs, and private jet and helicopter services. You could easily find yourself rubbing shoulders with celebrities there, as the resort is popular with influencers, Hollywood A-Listers, and music stars. Beyond the beach resorts and exclusive bars, Sardinia also boasts mile upon mile of wild beauty and postcard-perfect villages, so invest in a new pair of hiking boots and get out and explore the real Sardinia. MYKONOS, GREECE With its sixteenth-century windmills, Cycladic architecture, stunning views, picture-perfect beaches, and legendary nightlife, Mykonos perfectly blends holiday decadence with centuries of fascinating history
This jewel of the Greek islands has everything from all night beach partying to windsurfing and exploring the many quaint streets and hidden coves. Noteworthy beaches include Paradise Beach, Ornos Bay, and chic Psarou.
SICILY, ITALY A quiet destination steeped in history, Sicily is a scenic, slow-paced place which goes beyond the mere beach destination. The main island boasts stunning beaches, charming seaside towns, such as Syracuse and Trapani, and well- preserved Roman and Greek ruins that have stood for millennia. If you’re the type who likes to explore, a day or two island-hopping across the Aeolian Islands will prove to be an adventure.
Sunny with blue sky and crystal clear water. Paradise is definitely the most famous beach on Mykonos: fine sand and emerald green water.
IBIZA, SPAIN You can’t mention European beach destinations without mentioning the party capital of Spain: Ibiza. Showcasing a pounding club scene, Ibiza is famous the world over for its wild side. Look beyond the nightlife, though, and you’ll discover there is much more to this island than meets the eye. Long stretches of golden beaches and hidden coves like Cala Blanca or Cala d’en Serra are the perfect place to soak up the sun or indulge in a bit of scuba diving. Or if you want a relaxed night out, visit the famous Café del Mar and watch the sun go down while sipping a cool cocktail.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER
A BRIDAL STORYBOOK
WEDDING WEEKEND IN PORTUGAL
Jewelry, Legacy & Love with Heller Jewelers Some weddings feel like fairy tales from the very first detail — and for Molly and Eric, that feeling began not with a dress or a venue, but with a ring. Eric proposed with two rings — an oval eternity band they chose together from the Heller Jewelers Collection, and Molly’s grandmother’s round solitaire diamond he thoughtfully had reset in a modern setting. “It was the perfect blend of something new and something timeless,” Molly shares. That mix of heritage and personal style became the heart of their wedding weekend at Forte da Cruz, a beachfront castle in Estoril, Portugal. “The moment we saw it, we knew it was the one. It was modern and elegant, with just enough historic charm to feel magical.” The Rings That Tell the Story When choosing wedding bands, both gravitated toward pieces with personal meaning. Molly chose a round diamond eternity band in yellow gold, with alternating carat weights and compass settings — tying in the gold signet ring she wears every day. Eric selected a sleek tantalum band with a yellow gold interior, his first piece of jewelry. “I love that it echoes the gold in mine,” Molly says. They plan to engrave his band on their first anniversary — a romantic tradition to mark time and memory. Elegant Jewelry with a Dress Worthy of the Setting On her wedding day, Molly wore a jaw-dropping natural diamond line necklace from the Heller Jewelers Collection. “It was one of the most special parts of the day,” she says. “Wearing it made me feel beautiful and confident, and so connected to my family and friends.” Her bridal look also included her signet ring, diamond studs, and both engagement rings. Molly wore The Harlow by Watters, a gown that perfectly echoed the duality of her wedding weekend: romance with a hint of edge. “The off-the-shoulder lace sleeves and thigh-high slit struck a balance between vintage charm and modern drama,” she explains. “Because of the lace sleeves, I opted not to wear a bracelet — just the necklace and earrings to frame the neckline.” With a statement dress and striking venue, her bridal jewelry was elegant without distraction, timeless yet daring.
32 | HELLER JEWELERS MAGAZINE
Jewelry That Carries Generations For the welcome drinks the night before, Molly reimagined her great aunt’s pearls — shortening them and transforming part into a matching bracelet that celebrated its vintage gold flower clasp. “Heller helped me modernize heirlooms in a way that honored their story and made them mine.” Eric brought his own meaningful details: a vintage lapel pin for the welcome drinks and cufflinks from Molly’s grandfather, gifted by her uncle. “It was such a personal touch and it tied beautifully into the weekend’s theme of honoring the past while celebrating the present.” More Than Jewelry What made this wedding weekend unforgettable wasn’t just the beauty of the castle, or the sparkle of the diamonds — it was the meaning behind every detail. “My jewelry made me feel radiant, but more than that, it made me feel connected. To Eric. To my family, To the life we’re building.” She hopes to pass the pieces on one day — because jewelry, like love, is meant to be worn and shared. A Heller Experience Throughout their wedding journey, Heller Jewelers played a central role — not just in providing exquisite jewelry, but in creating an experience rooted in care, legacy, and craftsmanship. From private appointments to resetting heirlooms to curating the perfect bridal gifts, Molly felt guided every step of the way. “I gifted my maid-of-honor the same pieces I love and wear myself — a pair of Heller Huggies, yellow gold hoops, and a diamond line necklace for the big day. We’ll always remember this time when we wear them.” Molly and Eric both have their eyes on future milestones, including watches they hope to add to their collection: “For me, it’s the Cartier Santos in the new small size. For Eric, it’s the Rootbeer GMT.”

The new Aston Martin Valhalla is a halo car for the brand, offering an alternative to Ferrari and Lamborghini supercars. While the traditionalist English automaker stays close to its roots, the company has fully embraced the hypercar ethos, blending Aston’s bespoke sensibilities with performance- driven methodologies.

For Aston, the Valhalla represents a series of milestones. It’s the company’s first series- production mid-engined supercar and first production plug-in hybrid with dedicated electric vehicle (EV) range capability. You won’t find an ejection seat or oil-spraying gadgets like James Bond had at his fingertips. Instead, you’ll find Formula 1 influences under every panel and active aerodynamics that tame the wind at the car’s electronically limited top speed of 217 mph. It’s literally a racecar for the road. The Mercedes-AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0L V8 and three electric motors drive the two-seater from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in only 2.5 seconds. Twin electric motors on the front axle facilitate torque vectoring for unheard-of steering control. Reversing will be handled by the electric motors. The electric motors and gas engine combine for all-wheel drive performance through the all-new 8-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).
The active aerodynamics maintain over 1,300 lbs of downforce at high speeds and feature DRS and air brake functions straight from the F1 series. Active aerodynamics reduce the angle of attack gradually on the front and rear wings to bleed excess downforce as speed increases, ensuring consistent aerodynamic balance for maximum driver confidence. At startup, Valhalla selects Sport mode as the default, with the driver able to manually choose EV Pure, Sport+, and Race as alternative drive modes. Each drive mode is carefully calibrated to provide the driver with a distinct and differentiated experience. The driving experience will likely start and end with the vehicle in silent EV mode, with about 9 miles of fully electric range. As the battery depletes its charge, Valhalla automatically switches from EV to Sport mode. The Sport mode engages the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine transforming the Valhalla into hybrid supercar, combining the instantaneous torque of the electric-motor equipped front axle with the exhilarating power of the V8. Carbon ceramic brakes deliver the necessary stopping power, along with driver aids like anti-lock brakes, dynamic stability control, and hydraulic brake assist. For a thrilling ride on the open road, turn the dial to Sport +. For exhilarating thrills on the track, switch to Race mode for ultimate performance, engaging active aerodynamics that include the rear T-wing. Under braking, the rear wing will deploy as an air brake to ensure optimal stability. The interior cossets two individuals in carbon racing seats, with contrasting stitching and the logo embroidered on the headrest. While more luxurious than any racing car, it’s still a space that’s all business. While the Valhalla’s design is markedly different from that of classic Aston Martins, its DNA is unmistakable. Flawless, uncorrupted lines, combined with innovative high-downforce active aerodynamics, deliver a car that shines on the road and thrives on the track.

Tudor Black Bay NEW
T
MODELS
The Black Bay line has become one of Tudor’s most recognizable pillars, known for pairing tool-watch durability with vintage design cues. This year, Tudor expands the collection with new models that build on the Black Bay’s signature aesthetic while pushing it in new directions — some subtle, others more daring. Rooted in Tudor’s dive watch history from the 1950s and the “Snowflake” hands of 1969, the Black Bay line draws from history while embracing modern materials and manufacturing. Whether you prefer compact cases or bolder builds, GMT functionality or clean time-only layouts, the new Black Bays prove there’s no single formula for a modern classic. The Black Bay 68 is the largest model yet, boasting a 43 mm case and METAS certification. The Black Bay 58 returns in all-burgundy with a Master Chronometer movement. The Black Bay Pro gets a crisp opaline dial for improved contrast. The Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” highlights motorsport heritage with a carbon fiber case. And the Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue” offers a fresh water-inspired dial in a compact 37 mm case. Each Black Bay is water-resistant to 200 meters and powered by a Tudor manufacture movement, rigorously tested and built to last. It’s a line that is designed for all wrists, all seasons, and all types of collectors.

A New Chapter for the Santos de Cartier Watch
The Santos de Cartier watch is a cornerstone of modern horology, born from innovation and continually reimagined to suit the times. This latest evolution honors the origins of the iconic timepiece with the introduction of a refined small model, thoughtfully sized at 27 mm x 34.5 mm. Its proportions pay tribute to the earliest Santos watches created for pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904 — the very first modern wristwatch designed for ease of use during flight. Remaining faithful to the collection’s style, this new interpretation preserves the aesthetic codes that have defined the Santos de Cartier for more than a century: a square case, visible screws, and fluid lines. The industrial nature of the screws contrasts elegantly with the sophistication of the new sunray-effect dial, offering subtle radiance within a streamlined silhouette. Though more compact, this edition carries the same presence and polish as the larger Santos models. Available in all-steel, yellow gold and steel, or solid yellow gold, the watches are powered by high-autonomy quartz movements, tailored to the smaller case dimensions. Each version is water-resistant to 30 meters and features Cartier’s signature interchangeable strap system, allowing for effortless transitions between a bracelet and leather strap. The leather options, fitted with ardillon buckles, are crafted in smooth calfskin for the steel and two-tone models and in alligator for the all gold edition. With its precise design, wearable proportions, and enduring pioneering spirit, the new Santos de Cartier small model represents yet another milestone in the story of a true Cartier icon.

THE SERENITY OF THE FOREST SURROUNDING THE STUDIO IN JAPAN WHERE IT IS MADE GRAND SEIKO’S WHITE BIRCH
G Grand Seiko has become widely recognized for its dial treatments, one of the elements that distinguish the Japanese watchmaker as a luxury brand. The dial of the Grand Seiko SLGA009, or White Birch, for example, is grooved to represent the trees of the white birch forest that surrounds the watchmaking studio in Shinshu, Japan, where all Grand Seiko Spring Drive watches are crafted. The watch bears Grand Seiko’s signature Series 9 case with a high zaratsu polish, a mirror-like finish that has attracted the
attention of collectors to the Grand Seiko brand. It measures 40 mm wide by 11.8 mm thick, which makes it solid but wearable. The dial is set with dauphine hands and long chamfered markers. It contains Grand Seiko’s state-of-the-art Spring Drive Caliber 9RA2, a movement that offers an impressive 120-hour (five-day) power reserve and a precision rate of +/- 0.5 seconds per day, or +/- 10 seconds per month. There is a stop seconds function for accurate to-the-second setting and a date function, displayed at 3 o’clock.
In 2017, Seiko Corporation separated its hand-assembled luxury collection, Grand Seiko, from its lower-priced core Seiko lines, making it a stand-alone marque with its own distribution and design philosophy. The move represented Seiko’s push into the luxury segment of the U.S. watch market. Today, Grand Seiko is one of the leading luxury watch brands, known for its highly crafted and finished watches at prices that represent true value.
