Patty Mattingley Sales Professional

Fink’s Jewelers Forest, VA (434) 237-6301 Patricia.Mattingley@finks.com

Celebrating a decade with Fink’s Jewelers, Patty Mattingley has become a go-to guide for couples stepping into their next chapter. With a heart for love stories and a background in luxury cosmetics, she brings both style and sincerity to

the bridal experience in our Lynchburg location. Whether she’s helping design the perfect engagement ring or walking a nervous groom through the details, Patty’s warmth, intuition, and eye for beauty make her a natural in the world of fine jewelry. How did your journey with Fink’s begin? I was an experienced jewelry consultant at that point in my career. When I was approached by Fink’s to come work for them, I said “yes!” The Lynchburg team is like family now, and Fink’s has given me the tools to truly thrive in a company I’m proud to represent. What drew you to the bridal side of jewelry? Bridal is where my heart is. I love connecting with couples and helping them create something meaningful together. It’s such an honor to play a role in that moment, and I’m proud to be the top diamond sales associate in the Lynchburg location and one of the top in the company each year. How has Fink’s supported your growth over the years? The training at Fink’s is incredible. Even with my years of prior experience, their week-long onboarding at the home office helped me deepen my knowledge of brands, stone grading, and what makes Fink’s unique. I came away understanding not just the product but the people and purpose behind it. What do you enjoy most outside of work? I love spending time with my family, and I’m always up for a spontaneous day trip or adventure. My husband and I just celebrated our 40th anniversary this past May. We have two grown children and one beautiful granddaughter, Stella, who is the absolute light of my life. Being her “Mimi” is one of my greatest joys.

Erin Blackford Sales Professional

Fink’s Jewelers Roanoke, VA (540) 342-2991 Erin.Blackford@finks.com

Celebrating 10 years with Fink’s Jewelers, Erin Blackford brings heart, humor, and a deep knowledge of diamonds to every client she serves. As the store’s bridal captain and a GIA-trained diamond expert, Erin has become a trusted guide for couples beginning their love stories — often watching their lives grow from “just engaged” to “parents of three.”

How did your journey with Fink’s begin? It’s kind of funny — my first time in Fink’s was as a customer! At the time, I was a licensed optician, but I was ready for a change. The Fink’s store manager at the time pursued me for eight months before I finally made the leap. It was a total career pivot, but I knew I wanted to do something meaningful. Ten years later, I’m still here and loving it. What’s your favorite part of the job? Hands down, it’s the people. I’ve had the privilege of helping couples get engaged, get married, and then come back to celebrate anniversaries and babies. Building those long- term relationships is what makes this job so fulfilling. What bridal trends are you seeing right now? Yellow gold is huge right now, along with fancy shapes like marquise and pear. Solitaires are also making a strong comeback. There’s definitely a shift toward more timeless, understated engagement rings. What do you enjoy outside of the store? My nine-month-old rescue pup, Tommy, keeps me very busy! He’s a total goofball and the light of my life. I’m also close with my family. We talk every day, and I try to make time for outdoor concerts and being by the water. But honestly, most of my free time is spent at the dog park or chasing Tommy around after he’s found another mud puddle.

Tamara Werth Sales Professional

Fink’s Jewelers Virginia Beach, VA (757) 640-1132 Tamara.Werth@finks.com

Celebrating 20 years with Fink’s Jewelers, Tamara Werth is known for her warmth, elegance, and deep connection with clients. Originally a senior lecturer and deputy dean at Polytechnic National University

in Lviv, Ukraine, she discovered her passion for fine jewelry when she joined Fink’s. Today, she serves as the David Yurman ambassador for our Virginia Beach store, building lasting relationships through exceptional service and timeless style. How did your journey with Fink’s begin? I was managing a neighboring boutique store in Richmond when Fink’s offered me a job. I was honored. After joining, I quickly realized that Fink’s surrounds itself with amazing people, and I’ve felt incredibly lucky to work with this family and team for over two decades. What’s your specialty in the store? I’m known as the David Yurman ambassador. It’s a collection I truly love, because it’s timeless, elegant, and always easy to wear. I also enjoy styling clients and helping them create complete looks, sometimes even introducing them to Roberto Coin or Marco Bicego. We get them started with a couple of staple pieces, and then they usually come back for more. What do you love most about working in jewelry? Jewelry is tied to life’s happiest moments. I’ve sold engagement rings and anniversary gifts, and now I see the next generation shopping with their parents. It’s beautiful to be part of those milestones. Plus, many of my clients have become friends, and these relationships are the most rewarding aspect of my job. What do you enjoy outside of work? I love traveling with friends and family, especially to visit my mother in Ukraine. I also enjoy reading, exploring new places, and, most recently, spending time with my first granddaughter. She’s already inherited my heart — and maybe one day, my jewelry box too.

The 1980s are back, but with sophisticated restraint. Today’s designers capture the decade’s fearless spirit — geometric shapes, statement proportions, unapologetic glamour — while adding modern elegance and refined craftsmanship. Bold doesn’t mean brash; it means confidence refined through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that feel both nostalgic and completely now. These aren’t costume jewelry throwbacks — they’re investment pieces that honor the past while looking firmly toward the future. The Sabel Collection delivers a wide range of styles and these vintage-inspired pieces are among our favorites! All are crafted in 18K gold, from the sleek baguette diamond collar necklace to the disco-ball inspired bangles. It’s hip to be square they say, so you may gravitate toward this elongated emerald ring, the ornate framed emerald pendant, or the tanzanite drop earrings. If you’re channeling more of a Lady Di vibe, the two oval rings shown here — one featuring a yellow diamond and the other a tanzanite center gem — may be your pick. Both are framed with multi- shape diamonds, giving an updated look to these new timeless treasures.

ELECTRIFYING

BMW i8 M redux 2026

THE FUTURE OF PERFORMANCE HAS ARRIVED

i

If you missed out on the first-generation BMW i8 hybrid supercar, you may have another chance. BMW is hinting at a new i8, this time with an M badge, although the model name, like many other things about this version, hasn’t been finalized. The first i8 was a plug-in hybrid powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine, generating a combined 369 horsepower. The electric driving range was

a minimal 18 miles. More than 20,000 were produced from 2014 to 2020, making it the top-selling plug-in electric sports car. The next generation will be based on BMW’s Vision M Next concept. Expect a massive increase in power, a longer all-electric driving range, and a more capable chassis. It’s predicted to hit dealer showrooms at the end of 2025 as a 2026 model. The scuttlebutt is that the new version

will be powered by a turbocharged four- cylinder engine and twin electric motors, yielding a combined output of around 600 horsepower. In the Next concept, that drivetrain was capable of running 0-62 mph in 3.0 seconds, with a top speed of 186 mph. With that kind of power, the i8 M will be competitive with hybrid rivals like the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray and the Lexus LC 500h.

22 | FINK’S JEWELERS MAGAZINE

the scoop

The Vision M Next concept claimed an electric driving range of 62 miles. There isn’t much info on the EV capabilities of the i8 M, but be sure BMW’s engineers are working feverishly to find ways to eke out more range from each charge. Hopefully, BMW will address one common criticism from the first model: ingress and egress. Sure, it’s a ground- hugging hypercar with butterfly or front- hinged doors, but it was exceptionally hard to get in and out, gracefully or otherwise. As a hypercar, storage and cargo capacity will likely remain limited, but a front trunk (or frunk) may provide additional luggage space. We’re hoping it will be offered as a convertible as well as a fixed-roof coupe, similar to the previous generation model’s lineup. If you’re going to be uncomfortable in a performance car, you might as well have the wind in your hair. The price of the 2026 BMW i8 M is expected to range from approximately $160,000 to $180,000, depending on the selected trim and options. Like its predecessor, the i8 M will be BMW’s laboratory for futuristic styling and materials, serving as a rolling demonstration of cutting-edge features and eye-popping designs.

Roberto Coin

Venetian Enchantment

Italy: It’s here where visionary designer Roberto Coin finds his inspiration. From the sunlit canals of Venice to the rolling hills of Tuscany, each collection brings Italy’s poetic beauty to life in wearable masterpieces. With a reverence for craftsmanship and an eye for innovation, Roberto Coin has spent nearly thirty years delighting jewelry connoisseurs worldwide, forging a legacy defined by elegance, emotion, and the unmistakable warmth of 18K gold. And this new year is no different.

Stepping right out of the heart of Venice with the SAN MARCO COLLECTION , Roberto Coin pays tribute to the city’s most iconic treasure: St. Mark’s Basilica. Here, gilded mosaics dance with captured sunlight, serving as both creative inspiration and the aesthetic blueprint. Its mosaic-framed arches and artisan-wrought details are reborn in the San Marco collection in sweeping curves of yellow, rose, and white gold, each strand interlaced with the next in harmonious union.

Like many of his previous works, at the center of the San Marco collection lies diamonds, brilliant as Venetian reflections on water. Paved within select “stations,” they refract every glimmer of gold into a symphony of light. Imagine a station bracelet, where one luminous link emerges in a shower of diamonds, its sparkle echoing the kaleidoscopic patterns that first inspired Roberto Coin. Or picture a necklace, its gold ribbons twisting like canals beneath a twilight sky, punctuated by diamond-studded accents that guide your eye like lanterns on the lagoon.

24 | FINK’S JEWELERS MAGAZINE

ITALY — a captivating destination where the landscape whispers enchanting tales of art, history, mystery, and romance.

Yet San Marco is more than an homage to a place — it is a celebration of connection. Just as Venice knits together cultures and eras, these intertwined gold tones remind us that our lives are richer when distinct strands come together. Each piece becomes a personal relic — a moment of wonder preserved in precious metal, an heirloom worthy of being passed down through generations.

Whether it accompanies a gala gown or adds delicate shimmer to simple dinner attire, every piece in the San Marco collection transcends ornamentation — it invites you into a narrative of artistry and heart. Wear it as an ode to adventure, a reminder that inspiration flows from history, and that true luxury is born when emotion and excellence intertwine. With Roberto Coin’s San Marco collection, you carry the Venetian enchantment and legacy, and with it, the promise of beauty that never fades.

ROBERTO COIN HAS SPENT NEARLY THIRTY YEARS DELIGHTING JEWELRY CONNOISSEURS WORLDWIDE, FORGING A LEGACY DEFINED BY ELEGANCE, EMOTION, AND THE UNMISTAKABLE WARMTH OF 18K GOLD .

hina C Cocktail Craze from THE MOST POPULAR SPIRIT YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF

FOOD + DRINK

By Gary Wollenhaupt

M Most Americans have never heard of one of the most popular distilled liquors in the world, baijiu. The most widely consumed spirit in China, baijiu (bye-joe), is made from fermented grains, most commonly sorghum, but also rice and wheat. It’s distinguished by its unique fermentation process in dirt pits or stone reservoirs. Baijiu is having its moment as the latest darling of the craft cocktail boom, substituting in recipes for traditional drinks like the negroni and sex on the beach. But be careful; baijiu can pack a punch, with alcohol content ranging from 35% to 68%. That’s why its nicknames include “Chinese white spirit” and “firewater.”

bottle, at room temperature or slightly warmed. It is never served chilled. Technically, baijiu is not a specific type of drink; it is a category of drinks. There are four basic styles or types, with many regional variations. Baijiu is classified by what translates as “aroma,” although that may be one of those words without a direct correlation in Western languages. Strong aroma: Most associated with Sichuan Province, strong aroma can be found practically anywhere in China. The intense flavors of pineapple, banana, white pepper, and anise stand up to the famously hot flavors of its home province. The base is made from sorghum and other grains that are fermented in earthen pits. Light aroma: Most common in northern China, light aroma flows from sorghum

fermented in stone jars or pits. The resulting spirit can be 120 proof, with flavors of pear, bitter herbs, and dried apricot. Sauce aroma: Sorghum fermented in stone brick pits in Guizhou Province produces a spirit with a soy sauce-like aroma. Flavor notes express mushrooms, caramelized fruit, and fermented beans. Rice aroma: With a fermentation base of long- and short-grain rice, Westerners find it a more approachable flavor to introduce them to the world of baijiu. It originates from Guangxi province in the southeast. Your taste buds will detect flavors of rice, grass honey, and flower tea.

It’s generally enjoyed with food rather than on its own, served in a ceramic jug or clear glass

If you’d like to experiment on your own, try mixing a cocktail with cold press vegetable juices such as carrot, celery, and cucumber. Keep the ratio of baiju rather small until you get used to the powerful aromas. Baijiu can be hard to find in North America. If your favorite liquor store doesn’t stock it, try a Chinese grocery store.

Marco Bicego

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS WITH A TWIST

F

For a quarter of a century, nestled in the hills of Vicenza, craftsmanship and creativity have intertwined, whispering contemporary elegance, dancing with light to capture timeless beauty. Marco Bicego has always interpreted this through a modern language that resonates with today’s woman. His pieces are wearable constellations, born from the alchemy of blending age-old techniques with innovative vision, creating an unmistakable aesthetic signature.

The brand’s most anticipated launch of its 25th anniversary year — Lunaria Twist — offers a modern play on a classic style. Delicate and alluring in its shapes, the collection is a contemporary marvel in its craftsmanship technique. Right before completion, the gold leaf is gently twisted, differentiating it from

other Lunaria styles. Just as its curved leaves brilliantly capture and reflect light, the collection itself is a luminous tribute to the past 25 years, while embracing an inspired vision for the future.

28 | FINK’S JEWELERS MAGAZINE

Much like a composer, Marco crafts symphonies using both traditional and modern instruments, attuned to contemporary sensibilities. His remarkable feel for color mirrors that of a painter who selects each shade with deliberate care, knowing every hue tells its own unique story. These are emotions that flow seamlessly into everyday life, brilliant personal journeys where materials reveal their distinct character through textures that speak of time and transformation — radiant fragments of eternity. When worn, these masterpieces remind us that true beauty holds something universal, touching the hearts of every generation. A quarter of a century marked by distinctive style, technical daring, and that irresistible Italian flair. Yesterday, today, always.

But which dazzling diamond delights do you need to have waiting in your jewelry box for any situation? Here are the five essential diamond must-haves. Diamond studs are many collectors’ first serious piece of jewelry, and for good reason — this standout staple is perfect for so many situations! COLORFUL WORLD

By Becky Stone

Anyone can admire the vibrant appeal of a colored gemstone , but these bright beauties become even more remarkable when you consider the fact that they’re each a naturally occurring treasure from the earth. Do you know what gives colored gemstones their color? Let’s take a peek behind the fascinating facets and take a deep dive into some of today’s most popular precious and semi-precious stones. color cues

TERRIFIC TOURMALINE can be green, pink, black, red, or any color in between. When the presence of manganese creates red tourmaline, also referred to rubellite, the color is nearly as vivid as the much pricier ruby’s red glow. This oval-cut beauty is circled by diamonds and set in 14K white gold. Red tourmaline is believed to have healing energy that can enhance compassion and encourage love.

TANTALIZING TANZANITE is a vibrant violet-blue variety of the mineral zoisite. Tanzanite was discovered fairly recently, in 1967, and is only found near majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Because it is only mined in one small area, experts estimate that tanzanite is up to a thousand times scarcer than diamonds. This magnificent tanzanite is octagonal in shape with emerald- and round-cut diamonds framing the gem and a diamond twisted band. It’s perfectly precious in its setting of platinum.

34 | FINK’S JEWELERS MAGAZINE

SPECTACULAR SAPPHIRE can be almost any color, but this compelling corundum mineral is best known for its irresistible blue hues. Sapphire has been prized for jewelry since around 800 BC and is the center stone of Princess Diana’s famous engagement ring, which Prince William later used to propose to Kate Middleton. There are so many sapphires to choose from in our Sabel Collection.

RAVISHING RUBY is what we call the mineral corundum when it contains enough chromium to cause ruby’s unforgettable red hue. Like its corundum cousin, sapphire, ruby is a strong gemstone that holds up under daily wear, so it’s a fantastic option for jewelry that you want to wear again and again. We have nothing but love for this oval ruby and diamond offset tennis bracelet!

IMPERIAL TOPAZ is the rarest and most prized form of topaz, which you may be more used to seeing in its common pink or blue hues. The unforgettable sunrise color of imperial topaz occurs when topaz’s composition of aluminum and fluorine forms with an extra helping of chromium, turning the gem a luminous golden orange. This ring features an oval imperial topaz surrounded by diamonds.

Local industrialists Spencer and Julia Penrose brought their singular vision of a grand European hotel to life on the southwest edge of Colorado Springs, nestled at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. Stepping into the west lobby of the Broadmoor is like stepping back in time to 1919 when the Forbes Five-Star Resort opened its doors. Like the original stained glass ceiling panels and Italian Renaissance flair, The Broadmoor remains unwavering in its commitment to providing an exceptional experience more than a century later.

Culinary Comfort My first stop at the Broadmoor was The Golden Bee, an authentic 19th-century English pub that was shipped and reconstructed, panel by panel, in 1961. The pub remains an authentically cozy atmosphere of warm woods and traditional craftsmanship, perfectly recreating the feel of a familiar neighborhood watering hole from the old country. It’s just one of many dining options, from the French-influenced La Tarverne to the rustic Restaurant 1858, located at the base of the majestic Seven Falls series of waterfalls. Seated at Ristorante Del Lago with a glass of Italian red and fresh house-made pasta, it would be easy to convince yourself you’ve been transported to the elegant shores of Lake Como. Fine dining is just the beginning of the Broadmoor experience.

Top Golf The 2025 US Senior Open was played on the East Course, perched in the foothills of the Cheyenne Mountains at an elevation of more than 6,300 feet. The East Course is renowned for its expansive, tree-lined fairways and wide, well-maintained greens. In contrast, the West Course is tighter off the tee, featuring rolling fairways, heavily tree-lined holes, and breathtaking views of both the mountains and Colorado Springs. A perfect blend of natural beauty and rich history!

Lodging Locations Guest rooms evoke the finest European luxury hotels, complemented by modern comforts. An array of rooms and suites offer views of the Rockies’ purple mountain’s majesty or the twin lakes behind the main hotel building. The Penrose suite may be the pinnacle of accommodations. It’s the well-preserved apartment of Mrs. Julie Penrose, who lived there from 1944 until 1957. The suite was left essentially intact, with only sympathetic upgrades to modern amenities. If you’d like more room, cottages and brownstones can accommodate family or corporate gatherings with enhanced privacy and superior service. For the ultimate group setting, the estate house features five bedrooms, a grand parlor that accommodates up to 60 guests, an opulent dining room with seating for 16, and a gourmet kitchen ideally suited for any occasion. Architect Thomas MacLaren oversaw the design and construction in the late 1920s, and the home was expanded in the 1930s to create a sanctuary just steps from the resort’s main campus. Additionally, The Broadmoor has earned a spot as a top wedding destination, and the convention center caters to both work and play business events.

Elite Excursions Pike’s Peak is the star attraction in the region. You can hike up it, take a bus, or, my favorite, ride the Cog Railway. It’s a 3.5-hour

round-trip tour, and depending on how many donuts you eat at the café, it’s easy to doze off on the return trip. Broadmoor Outfitters can plan more active excursions, from hiking to fly fishing. Adventurous souls will enjoy the Broadmoor Soaring Adventure, which consists of 10 zip lines among two courses that range from 250 feet to 1,800 feet. You’ll need to be prepared for moderate hiking, traversing rope bridges, and a controlled 180-foot rappel that features stunning views of the waterfalls and the canyon below.

Popular hiking options include easy trails winding through the sandstone formations of the Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Open Space, the forested gateway views of North Cheyenne Cañon, or the more strenuous Section 16 trail.

A New Chapter for the Santos de Cartier Watch

The Santos de Cartier watch is a cornerstone of modern horology, born from innovation and continually reimagined to suit the times. This latest evolution honors the origins of the iconic timepiece with the introduction of a refined small model, thoughtfully sized at 27 mm x 34.5 mm. Its proportions pay tribute to the earliest Santos watches created for pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904 — the very first modern wristwatch, designed for ease of use during flight. Remaining faithful to the collection’s style, this new interpretation preserves the aesthetic codes that have defined the Santos de Cartier for more than a century: a square case, visible screws, and fluid lines. The industrial nature of the screws contrast elegantly with the sophistication of the new sunray-effect dial, offering subtle radiance within a streamlined silhouette. Though more compact, this edition carries the same presence and polish as the larger Santos models. Available in all-steel, yellow gold and steel, or solid yellow gold, the watches are powered by high-autonomy quartz movements, tailored to the smaller case dimensions. Each version is water-resistant to 30 meters and features Cartier’s signature interchangeable strap system, allowing for effortless transitions between a bracelet and leather strap. The leather options, fitted with ardillon buckles, are crafted in smooth calfskin for the steel and two-tone models, and in alligator for the full gold edition. With its precise design, wearable proportions, and enduring pioneering spirit, the new Santos de Cartier small model represents yet another milestone in the story of a true Cartier icon.

Swiss timepiece THE JOY OF A FINE

There’s something quietly powerful about glancing down at your wrist and seeing a fine Swiss timepiece staring back. Besides the exceptional materials, appealing design, and uncompromising precision, there’s a feeling that comes with knowing you’re wearing something that took hundreds of hours (and decades of experience) to bring to life. Time told, and cherished time measured.

S

Swiss watches have earned their place at the top of the horological world for good reason. The tradition runs deep, backed by centuries of innovation, trial, error, and triumph. Behind every mechanical movement or alluring silhouette is a legacy of craftsmanship, passed down through generations, from the small mountain villages of the Jura to the storied maisons of Geneva. There’s a long line of artisans who’ve spent their lives working in millimeters, weaving their stories into the greater tale of timekeeping. Each component, no matter how tiny, has a job to do. When it all comes together in harmony, it works, and it feels right. But the joy of owning a Swiss watch goes beyond what’s ticking inside. There’s something inherently personal about choosing the right piece. That perfect watch can reflect your style, your story, and your sense of time. It can be quiet and classic, bold and attention-grabbing, or laid- back and breezy. Either way, it says something about you and can become part of your daily rhythm.

Wearing a fine watch invites glances — sometimes subtle, sometimes curious. Every now and then, there’s that moment when an onlooker’s eyes land on your wrist and you both share a brief, unspoken nod. They know. You know. You’re part of a community connected by an appreciation for the art of watchmaking. It’s a small reminder that even the most analog things can still spark a quiet connection. Then there’s the future. One of the greatest pleasures of owning a fine watch is knowing it will outlive you. Not in a somber way, but in a meaningful one. This piece you wear now can eventually become

an object you’ll pass on. Maybe to a son or daughter. Perhaps to someone who hasn’t been born yet. But one day, they’ll look down and see it on their wrist and feel something special, whether it’s love, pride, nostalgia, or all of it. In a world of fleeting trends, increased automation, and disposable everything, there’s comfort in the permanence of an exceptional watch built to last, crafted with care, and meant to be kept…until someone else picks up the story. And there’s joy in knowing it’s yours — for now.

INTRODUCES NEW Black Bay

MODELS

T

The Black Bay line has become one of Tudor’s most recognizable pillars, known for pairing tool-watch durability with vintage design cues. This year, Tudor expands the collection with new models that build on the Black Bay’s signature aesthetic while pushing it in new directions — some subtle, others more daring. Rooted in Tudor’s dive watch history from the 1950s and the “Snowflake” hands of 1969, the Black Bay line draws from history while embracing modern materials and manufacturing. Whether you prefer compact cases or bolder builds, GMT functionality or clean time-only layouts, the new Black Bays prove there’s no single formula for a modern classic. The Black Bay 68 is the largest model yet, boasting a 43 mm case and METAS certification. The Black Bay 58 returns in all-burgundy with a Master Chronometer movement. The Black Bay Pro gets a crisp opaline dial for improved contrast. The Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” highlights motorsport heritage with a carbon fiber case. And the Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue” offers a fresh water- inspired dial in a compact 37 mm case. Each Black Bay is water-resistant to 200 meters and powered by a Tudor manufacture movement, rigorously tested and built to last — a lineup is designed for all wrists, all seasons, and all types of collectors.

Black Bay 68 43 mm steel case, matte black aluminum unidirectional bezel, blue or silver dial, 3-link steel bracelet with T-fit clasp, automatic METAS movement.

O TIME ZONE urple P Once a rare sight on the wrist, purple is quickly becoming the color to watch. We’ve seen green, turquoise, and pink have their moments. Now, it’s purple’s turn in the spotlight. Watchmakers are exploring the entire spectrum, from delicate, almost pink lavenders to rich, saturated violets that verge on blue. Most designs keep the color focused on the dial, while others double down with matching straps for an even more vivid look.

Reign

FROM PALE LAVENDER TO VIBRANT VIOLET

What makes purple so appealing is its range. A pastel lilac feels light and playful, while a deep plum or eggplant shade comes across as dramatic and refined. Whether used on simple three- handers or intricate complications, purple brings character to the wrist without overwhelming the design. It can feel soft or striking, depending on the execution, and that flexibility is part of its growing appeal.

Purple isn’t just trending in watches. Leading fashion and interior design publications have called it one of the defining colors of the season. It’s appearing on runways, in wardrobes, and even splashed across living rooms — chosen for its expressive, mood- setting quality, and perhaps subconsciously, its historic link to luxury, royalty, and status.

FROM THE 1970 S TO TODAY :

The Enduring Appeal of Integrated Bracelets

H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton

Integrated bracelet watches have become a defining style in contemporary watchmaking. Unlike traditional timepieces where the strap or bracelet is attached separately to a case with visible lugs, integrated bracelet designs are built with continuity in mind. The bracelet flows

directly into the case, creating a cohesive silhouette that feels like a single piece of wearable architecture. This design concept first gained traction in the 1970s and was originally celebrated for its bold departure from the norm. Decades later, integrated bracelets are once again in

demand, thanks to their striking looks and sculptural quality. The fluid integration often results in a slim profile and comfort on the wrist, while details like alternating brushed and polished links, faceted edges, and hidden clasps elevate both the style and wearability.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato 38

As with any bracelet, an integrated one plays a central role in shaping a watch’s personality. It can signal whether a timepiece leans sporty or refined, retro or futuristic. Though the style was born from sportier origins, helping launch the luxury sports watch genre, watchmakers are increasingly incorporating integrated bracelets into more

formal pieces, including those in precious metals or with gemstone accents. Early integrated bracelet watches were often permanently fixed to the case, limiting versatility. Today, many brands have found ways to retain the seamless look while allowing for bracelet and strap swaps, giving wearers the best of both worlds.

With the growing appetite for integrated bracelets, watchmakers are finding ways to reimagine the style across a wider range of designs. From minimalist time-only models to intricate complications, this cohesive construction has become a flexible design language that combines technical sophistication with strong visual identity.
