The MONTA Oceanking, evolved DIVE IN:
Based in St. Louis, Missouri, MONTA has gained an enthusiastic following thanks to its collection of Swiss- made watches that reinterpret vintage tool-watch designs with modern performance. The Oceanking, first released in 2016, was the model that introduced the brand and quickly set the tone for MONTA’s reputation: thoughtful design, robust engineering, and top-tier finishing. Now in its third generation, the Oceanking dive watch remains MONTA’s flagship and best expression of its philosophy.

The latest-generation Oceanking showcases significant advancements over its predecessors, both mechanically and aesthetically. It sports a 40.5 mm stainless steel case that’s 12 mm thick, topped with an entirely redesigned, patent-pending bezel. The bezel rotates with 120 satisfying clicks, and its insert includes new indices and typeface, accompanied by a luminous pip at 12 o’clock. The refreshed dial benefits from enlarged applied hour markers, more luminescence, and wider hands — all for improved visibility. Identical to previous versions, the newest Oceanking includes a date window at 6 o’clock and boasts an impressive 300 meters of water resistance. Inside is the automatic MONTA Caliber M-22 movement, manufactured, assembled, and tested in Switzerland. MONTA’s bracelet — widely regarded as one of the best in the business — also saw a subtle update but retains fully articulated links, a six-position micro-adjust clasp for instant sizing, and half- links for precise fitting. The Oceanking is available in classic black with a ceramic bezel and a crisp blue with an aluminum bezel, each a clear expression of MONTA’s commitment to building modern tool watches with enduring appeal.
