BACHMAN’S WEDDINGS AND EVENTS BringingBeauty toLife.

Looking back on 2020, the global pandemic, and the challenges faced by somany of us, it feels like we can finally take pause and even begin to plan for a brighter future. 2020 was a difficult year for so many, bringing about disappointments and unique challenges while also surfacing opportunities for reworking the things that didn’t serve us. Weddings and events were no different, but suffered especially during the pandemic. In a time when many yearned to be close and gather together, our happiest moments and celebrations were put on hold. The pandemic forced many couples to delay, reschedule, rethink, or even cancel weddings. Now, as we begin to come together again to celebrate life’s joyful moments, there are opportunities to craft weddings and events that are exactly as we want them to be, full of joy without any stress or strife. Through 2020, award-winning florist and garden center Bachman’s worked diligently to adapt to the many changes

the pandemic brought about for weddings, events, and retail. You might say Bachman’s has a little experience in weathering change. Bachman’s was founded in 1885 and remains family- owned, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Based in Minneapolis, Bachman’s operates retail locations in the Twin Cities, including six full- service floral, home, and garden centers, a gift and décor store in the Galleria Edina, a hardscapes center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. The company also operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a nursery wholesale division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Farmington, which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachman’s today.
