ROMANTIC TRAVEL

FALL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN!
A As the sun rose, the luscious green forest emerged from the fog, and mist settled over the Loire River. The only sound was the occasional blast of hot air to keep the balloon at altitude. We boarded the wicker basket in the early dawn hours at Chaumont-sur-Loire, eager to see this gorgeous area in a new light. It was the highlight of our week in the Loire Valley. As you plan a trip to France, some basic questions can help determine what you hope to experience. Do you want to visit fairytale castles in a lush landscape? Or tour ancient ruins dotted among still-thriving Medieval cities? The Loire Valley and Provence could hardly be more different. Yet, there are no wrong
answers here. Regardless of which direction you choose, the food and wine will be unparalleled. Compare the two destinations. The Loire Valley has long been renowned for its magnificent châteaux, vineyards, and gardens. Provence’s well-deserved reputation was built on its lavender fields, picturesque villages, and Roman ruins. Provence may be more relaxed, offering opportunities for hiking and exploring smaller villages, while the Loire Valley can be more active, with visits to châteaux and wine tours.
