THE INFAMOUS PEACOCK DIAMOND FINDS ITS FOREVER HOME
The Peacock Diamond has been a signature of CD Peacock for decades. And earlier this year, the stunningly rare 21.81 carat fancy yellow diamond, mounted alongside two trillion-cut diamonds, was purchased by a very special couple celebrating 25 years of marriage.
Dean and Michele have been clients for over two decades. When asked what drew them to the Peacock Diamond, this is what Dean had to say:
“We have admired the Peacock Diamond ever since it was initially displayed in the Oak Brook store. As frequent visitors to the store, we continued to admire the Diamond even though we were still building our family and careers and businesses and knew that it was not in the realm of possibility for us to make the purchase in the early years. We could only dream that one day it could be a possibility, which became a reality this year.”
The Peacock Diamond is an extremely rare
fancy yellow 21.81 radiant-cut natural diamond, with 4 ctw trillion-cut colorless side diamonds, set in platinum and 18K yellow gold.
