A beloved necklace and family heirloom that took the original form of a watch gifted from Callie’s grandfather to her grandmother when they were 14. After Callie’s grandparents passed, Brown & Co. transformed the piece into a necklace with custom engraved ‘love nanny and papa’ in handwriting pulled from her grandparents’ old letters. Callie gifted the sentimental piece to her mother.

allie Dauler is an open book, and she’ll be the first to tell you so. The Atlanta- based lifestyle influencer and her husband, Jeff, share everything about their lives with their Upside podcast community. Now, as the couple welcomes their first child, Callie is ready to pass her hope on to others with the help of Brown & Co. Jewelers and their custom design team. The relationship between Callie and Brown & Co. began with a simple request: to bring life back into family jewelry that Callie had tucked away. “Sara Beth made me feel so at ease about handing over our family jewelry, and she wound up being able to verify what was real and what wasn’t,” Callie recalled. In the end, Brown & Co. designed Callie’s favorite piece of jewelry, a simple three-stone necklace. “It’s a necklace that I quite literally have not taken off since the day that I picked it up,” Callie exclaimed. The simplicity of the necklace fits Callie’s personality; she admits that she’s not a big jewelry person. However,

Brown & Co. has helped change her outlook on the stigma surrounding jewelry, and the fact that it is possible to find and own pieces that are both affordable and meant for everyday wear. “I’m into basics, so I wear the same earrings every day, my wedding and engagement ring, and that’s pretty much it,” Callie said. “I wouldn’t say that I’m a jewelry person, and I don’t swap out my jewelry, but I do have my staples, and this necklace is a staple for me that I will hopefully be able to pass on to my kid.” Not only is Callie looking forward to passing jewelry on to their newborn baby girl, she is also paying it forward with her HOPE design. In 2019, Callie and Jeff navigated the heartbreak of a miscarriage. In the middle of it all, the two remained hopeful and grateful for their social media community as well as close friends and family. In fact, it was one of Callie’s close friends who inspired her new design when she gave Callie a simple pair of earrings with the word “Hope” on them.

After getting pregnant, Callie kept the tradition alive and passed on her hope. She gifted those same earrings to another friend, confident they would bring her peace and hope during a difficult journey. Callie also sent a picture of the earrings to Sara Beth, asking whether she should create the design and share it with others. “I think, in different ways, we all need hope,” Callie said. “Sara Beth said, ‘Absolutely! Let’s do it! This is awesome,’ and she created the HOPE earrings based on the earrings my friend had given me.” Callie wants the HOPE design to not only help women struggling to get pregnant, but anyone going through a tough time. She recognizes that everyone needs hope at some point in life, and she’s excited that Brown & Co. is on board with passing this hope to others.
