ALEX & CAITLIN
A lex met the love of his life in law school. Caitlin was in her last year and Alex in his first year. “She helped guide me through the end of law school” Alex says. And after a few visits, they found it. With a beautiful pear diamond secured, Alex continued his plans to go above and beyond planning a dream proposal. Alex was able to prove how sentimental and thoughtful he was by having a friend create a custom wooden ring box to showcase the diamond ring in all of its beauty. He also went to the extra lengths of looping in their friends and family on his romantic plan. Earlier, Alex and Caitlin had planned a stunning vacation together in Mallorca, Spain. They had reserved a dreamy Airbnb that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. Little did Caitlin know that Alex was also planning for one of the most spectacular days of their lives together. With the diamond ring en route to Spain as well, Alex recalled wanting to check on it numerous times throughout the flight. He could not wait to surprise Caitlin with the ring, but he knew the wait would be worthwhile. Once safely in Spain, the night of the proposal finally came. Alex had hired a photographer to hide in the bushes, queued up for his big moment of asking Caitlin to be his bride. The photos say it all. The newly engaged couple celebrated over a glass
of champagne and Alex shared he had one more surprise up his sleeve. Before the trip, he had gathered videos of their closest family and friends sending
their congratulations and love from “across the pond”. As Caitlin and Alex shared these special moments together as a new engaged couple happy tears fell as they watched the videos. We loved how Alex was able to connect this very intimate moment, so far away from Kansas City, with the familiar faces of home. Since then, Caitlin and Alex have eloped in Las Vegas with their siblings as witnesses. They are enjoying married life in Kansas City frequently playing tennis, and loving on their two cats. We wish them years of happiness together!
