It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the second spring of a pandemic. These times have tested us, and I know we’re all eagerly awaiting a return to normalcy. As we stand on the precipice of that return, we’re reminded of the vibrance and passion this city proudly exhibits this time of year; The Derby, the countless gatherings celebrating graduations, mothers, and fathers—those will all

return in due time. It’s easy to be reminded how much the pandemic has taken from us. It cannot, however, strip Louisville of exactly what it does best: springtime. As the next few weeks unfold, we are eager for our community to celebrate and spring it on.
