Sorry Elon, Lucid says their new Air Sapphire is the first electric-only luxury super-sports sedan in the world. It requires only 1.89 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph, a time competitive with a Formula 1 race car, in a sedan with four doors and a 21-speaker sound system. Acceleration is so fast that early drivers say it messes with your mind if you dare push the pedal that far. The purported top end is 205 mph, driven by 1,234 hp from three electric motors. Fortunately, the track-tuned suspension, sport-seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, and the distinctive aerodynamic package also help manage all that power.
