Nature is a recurrent motif in Greg’s photography — a clear echo of his childhood. He often mixes high fashion with rural or wild surroundings and includes exotic animals in his compositions, using elements that link the rarefied atmosphere of the fashion industry to the organic beauty of the natural world. Like a gifted Olympic athlete, Greg has something you can’t teach — talent. He is completely self-taught. You might not think this West Virginia native would find himself in the land of glamour, but early exposure to the modeling world, as a model for Ford Models, gave Greg an inside glimpse into how photographers achieved their excellence.

Perhaps more importantly, it made Greg more aware of what the model went through, as well as what to expect from the very best. I learned early on that teamwork makes the dream work. Ok, that is a very corny line, but it is so true — especially when it comes to shooting stunning, evocative, if not erotic, images. Greg credits the work of the stylist, hair, and makeup artists; a good concept; and, of course, a very good subject. Granted, shooting the likes of Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, Megan Fox, Milla Jovovich, Kate Beckinsale, Katy Perry, Channing Tatum, Kim Kardashian, and Mary J. Blige, to name a few, makes his job easier, but the team and concept allow Greg to bring it all to a crescendo.
