Depending on the size, shape, and color of the stone, Lisa determines whether it will be best to set in rose, yellow, or white gold, and, her unusual one of a kind pieces have caught the eye of the modern California woman. “I grew up on the West Side of Los Angeles and also lived in New York City for 15 years” Lisa said “so I feel that my design aesthetic is connected to city life and resort style, which is why it is so versatile.”
Drawing inspiration from clients and collectors, Lisa Nik is always looking for ways to improve or design differently. This year, the collection utilizes beautiful watermelon tourmalines — a multi- color stone with striping that looks like a slice of watermelon or even a rainbow, depending on the lighting.
Lisa began her collection combining asymmetrical pairs of sapphires and tourmalines to make mismatched earrings that have become highly fashionable. Looking ahead, she says to be on the lookout for more tanzanite and emerald jewels in her collection. As you might expect, many celebrities have discovered Lisa Nik, even sporting her pieces on the red carpets from time to time. The essence of her brand, however, is that there is a jewel that everyone can relate to within the collection, and her jewels can be worn as adornments for every occasion.
