Designed with innovation, the Clock at Union Terminal is truly symbolic of the Cincinnati spirit. In 1933, the clock was carefully composed of aluminum and backlit glass panels featuring two skeletonized hands crafted of glowing neon tubes. This signature device beamed as a modern marvel. The clock served as the face of a newly released synchronizing mechanism, allowing all clocks in the station to share the precise same time.
