P urosangue CAVALLINO RAMPANTE
Cavallino Rampante is the prancing horse. The symbol was adopted by Enzo Ferrari for his racing team after being encouraged to do so by the mother of Count Francesco Baracca, Italy’s top fighter ace in WWI. The coat of arms of the Baracca family included a black prancing stallion, which Francesco wore as an emblem on the two sides of his aircraft.
