For Nancy McCall, every day glitters with passion and charm. As she marks her 10- year anniversary with Fink’s Jewelers in 2025, Nancy’s journey from the bustling Short Pump to the elegant Gayton & Broad store is a testament to her dedication to clients and Fink’s. Known as our David Yurman captain in the Richmond, Virginia, location, Nancy’s infectious enthusiasm makes her a beloved figure among clients and colleagues alike.
How did you start your career at Fink’s? I started shopping with Fink’s back in 2004. Whenever I earned a bonus from my previous job, I’d treat myself to a David Yurman piece. The warm, friendly environment and the amazing team drew me in. Eventually, the universe spoke, and I joined Fink’s, which felt a lot like coming home. What do you enjoy most about your role? I love the personal connections I make with our clients. Each piece of jewelry tells a story, and I enjoy being part of those special moments. Whether it’s an anniversary or a new addition to the family, I’m there to help find the perfect piece. And David Yurman is so rich in story that I have a lot of fun connecting people to the brand. What advice do you love giving clients? I always encourage clients to embrace their personal style. Jewelry should reflect who you are, so don’t be afraid to mix metals or wear bold pieces that tell your story. There are no rules — whether you’re pairing pearls with jeans or stacking different collections, it’s all about what feels right for you. If you love it and it makes you happy, then it’s the perfect piece. What do you like to do for fun outside of work? I love spending time with my family and my dog, Cooper. I’m also getting into pickleball and line dancing — it’s all about trying new things and living life to the fullest. I’m also making 2025 the year that I travel more, whether by myself or with my girlfriends. I’m going to see more and do more!
