WANNA LOOK ABSOLUTELY

? glowing JEWELRY FOR YOUR UNDERTONE

W We each have subtle undertones to the hue of our skin. Cool undertones naturally lend themselves to certain color palettes, while warm undertones play well with others. Some skin tones are even considered somewhat neutral, which often means more options on the spectrum of color that “feels right” fashionwise.

note TAKEN

Cool Undertones Jewelry lovers with cool undertones look best in colors that share that coolness. Think of gems with crisp, refreshing hues and bright white metals like silver, platinum, and white gold. With a cool undertone, you’ll look incredible wearing diamonds in a white metal. Consider investing in some dramatic dangling diamond earrings or a glamorous glittering diamond necklace for formal events. These styles will frame your face in sparkle and make you look your best by flattering your natural tone. Lush blue sapphires, verdant emeralds, and regal purple amethysts are some of the very best colored gemstones to accentuate a cooler-tone skin. They look spectacular in any form. Consider a chunky gemstone cocktail ring to add some pizzazz to your fingers or look for a necklace and earring set with cool-colored gems in bright white metals to light up your face.

Make no mistake — cool doesn’t mean unappealing. Cool skin tone projects a clean, elegant beauty. For cool undertone inspiration, look to celebrities Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Kim Kardashian, and Lupita Nyong’o.

Choosing jewelry that flatters your undertone is a fantastic way to make your jewels pop and your skin glow. Don’t forget to consider the color of the metal as well as the gemstones. Both factors can determine how well a particular style works for you. If you don’t know your undertone, one trick is to look at the veins in your wrist. Blue or purple veins typically mean you have a cool undertone, while greenish veins mean you lean toward the warmer side of the scale. A mix of colors, or veins that seem to blend into your skin usually means you have a rare neutral undertone.

Warm Undertones Jewelry lovers with warm undertones should embrace metals like yellow and rose gold, copper, and brass, as well as bright gemstones that call to mind the sun, fire, and the warmth of glowing embers. Yellow gold becomes simply luminous against skin with a warm undertone, with or without the addition of accent diamonds. Looking to invest in a versatile forever treasure that you’ll still love in 30 years? You can’t go wrong with a jewel in buttery yellow gold setting with plenty of negative space to let the beauty of your warm skin shine through.

IF YOU’RE CHOOSING GEMS FOR A WARM UNDERTONE, LOOK FOR

STONES LIKE SUNNY CITRINE, FIERY RUBY, AND WINE-RED GARNET.

Yes, they’re bold hues, but don’t feel shy about embracing the colors that will help you look your best! A jewelry lover with a warm skin tone will look so right in powerful reds and yellows that such statement stones work perfectly even for everyday wear. Need examples of celebrities who know how to flatter their warm skin undertone? Look to Claire Danes, Cynthia Erivo, Jessica Alba, Lucy Liu, and Beyoncé.

Neutral Undertones So, you have a neutral skin undertone? You lucky duck! Yours is a rare treat. Most of us lean either cool or warm, but neutral skin undertones do exist, and they look great in almost everything. You can wear any gemstone or metal that you like and it won’t wash you out. There really aren’t any colors you need to avoid.

A jewelry lover with neutral undertones can rock rubies in yellow gold as easily as they can flaunt aquamarines in platinum. Nothing is off limits: try iridescent mother-of-pearl, vibrant purple amethyst, lush emeralds, or diamonds in any metal you desire! You can even go for mixed-metal jewelry designs without worrying which color will be next to your skin, because everything looks good on you.

SPECTRUM OF STYLE

By Jennifer Brugh

In recent years, layering jewelry has become a fashion must. Throughout the seasons, we’ve witnessed all the ways you can customize the “neck-mess,” stack bold statement pieces around the wrist, or even accentuate a look with various ear accessories. And this year, we’re mixing in even more color. Whether it’s a pop of emerald green or a hint of sapphire blue, vibrant gemstones are redefining how you accessorize. So, it’s time to infuse your style with some color play.

Adding colorful gemstones to your collection is easier than you think. The wrist is always a good place to start: mix gold bangles with a few bold, colorful gemstone bracelets for a playful yet sophisticated stack. For your neck, try layering delicate chains with different gemstone pendants, combining green, pink, purple, or even blue hues that add a refreshing touch to your outfit.

The beauty of incorporating colorful gemstones is their versatility. Whether you’re dressing up for a special occasion or keeping it casual, these pieces can effortlessly enhance your wardrobe. For example, a simple white blouse can easily transform from bland to bold with several strategically placed pieces. Stack a few bracelets in varying shades of blue and green, or mix in a bold, multi-colored gemstone ring to draw attention to your hands.

Another idea is to incorporate color into your earrings. A pair of emerald or sapphire studs can add just the right amount of vibrancy without being too flashy. For a more daring look, try mixing different colored gemstones in one ear. Infusing your attire with colorful layers not only elevates your style but also adds a fun and playful element to everyday looks. Remember, it’s all about having fun and expressing your uniqueness. So go ahead, layer it on, play with color, and make a statement with your jewelry.

GIVING BACK

THE FINLEY PROJECT

Noelle Moore Founder & Executive Director

As an Orangewood Christian School and Rollins College Alum, Noelle has a heart to make Central Florida a more equipped place to handle infant loss and for families experiencing the unimageable, the loss of an infant. In 2013, Noelle experienced the unimaginable, the death of her daughter Finley as a result of medical malpractice. When Finley died, Noelle struggled to find where to go or what to do next. Noelle knew she had to do something, so she founded the nation’s only 7-Part Holistic Program helping mothers after infant loss, The Finley Project. To date, The Finley Project has enrolled and supported over 450 families. The Finley Project is recognized across the country as an innovator in the bereavement space because of its one-of- a-kind 7-Part Holistic Support model.

On August 16, 2013, our Founder, Noelle Moore, lost her daughter Finley at just 23 days old. Noelle left the hospital with overwhelming grief and a lack of direction and available services. She grappled with the heart wrenching question that so many other mothers face: What do I do now? Thankfully, Noelle had a strong support network of family, friends, and caring professionals who helped her to survive her grief, but she realized that not all mothers are fortunate enough to have the resources that

were available to her. Her experience inspired the creation of The Finley Project to help ensure that no mother would ever walk this difficult path alone. The Finley Project remains the first and only community-based organization in Central Florida providing comprehensive services for mothers dealing with infant loss as well as the ONLY organization nationwide utilizing a Holistic Model to support bereaved mothers and families.

accessible, to ensure every child has a teacher who can confidently teach them how to read. In addition to its training programming, RCF also hosts free community education events that promise exceptional content and meaningful fellowship on all types of educational topics, ranging from ADHD and executive functioning skills to struggling reader simulations and assistive technology. Because dyslexia was at the heart of the journey to a solution, every fall RCF hosts a major fundraiser known as the Dyslexia Experience & Gala, which features the stories of inspiring dyslexic children and their particular exceptional strengths. Past headliners have included comedian, Michael Jr., former professional surfer, CJ Hobgood, and this year’s featured guest, Daymond John from Shark Tank. The truth is that reading failure is the upstream cause of almost every societal issue we face, including but not limited to: food and housing insecurity, poverty, mental health issues, incarceration rates, substance abuse and addiction, low employment rates, high healthcare costs, and so much more. But it is also true that this is completely preventable! Today, Jennifer’s son is thriving in school. Three years after his initial dyslexia identification, he was required to be retested (as is standard for children to keep their accommodations, such as extra exam time). While a person never stops being dyslexic, her son no longer tests as dyslexic, because the deficits and struggles that are indicative of students with this learning difference are no longer deficits. Because of all of the incredible foundations, families, businesses and beyond who support RCF, he and so many other children feel empowered, are discovering their strengths and believe that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. Literacy is the key that unlocks hope, creativity, and empowerment, and it is vital that the 95 percent- plus of the population who are cognitively able to learn to read, actually get that chance.

Did you know that Florida ranks 3rd in the country for 4th grade literacy rates but only 39 percent of FL’s 4th graders can read proficiently? We have been in a literacy crisis for decades in this country and REED Charitable Foundation (RCF) is doing something about it. In 2017, RCF’s president and founding director, Jennifer Knopf, learned that her bright and joyful seven-year-old son, Reed was struggling in school because he is dyslexic, and no local school, public or private, was able to help. She also learned that decades of research known as the “science of reading” demonstrated a method which aided almost all students in reading comprehension, including the 1-in-5 children who suffer from dyslexia. However, teachers were not trained in the science or how to implement it in classrooms. It was further complicated by the fact that it was expensive and geographically inaccessible to most educators. While Jen was fortunate to find a certified tutor to help her son, it took months to get an appointment, was extremely expensive, and had to be done after school, which meant her son was no longer able to play sports. Jen realized that something had to be done for all of the families of children who are struggling with the foundational and life-saving skills of literacy. RCF was officially created in December of 2019, with a mission to make best-in-class, structured literacy training, coaching, and classroom materials financially and geographically

Jen Knopf Founding Director

Jen is a wife to husband Andrew and mom to two amazing kids: a daughter, Mackenzie, and a son, Reed (who was diagnosed with dyslexia in January of 2018 at seven years old). Of course, her son Reed’s story of both struggle and strengths is the inspiration for REED Charitable Foundation (RCF) but her heart for RCF goes much deeper than that. Jen’s background as both a litigation and commercial real estate attorney made her uniquely suited for researching and advocating for her own son’s needs; but she quickly learned that their family’s battle to find support for her son is a battle at least 20 percent of the population also faces. Jen also learned that even with personal resources, there is very little legitimate support for dyslexic students, even though we absolutely know how to support them. And, the worse realization of all was the lingering question of, “What happens to all of those families and children with no resources at all?” Jen knew the answer and also knew it was only a matter of time before she joined with others to create a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting not only dyslexic students but literacy for all. With a strong legal background, relentless determination, and a steadfast belief that literacy is a fundamental human right, Jen is committed to the mission and purpose of this foundation named after her beloved son.

Athleisure Attitude

W While brands like Ralph Lauren have been doing sophisticated sportswear for decades, in recent years, athleisure wear has taken over as America’s go-to casual look, surpassing denim in popularity for both men and women. This trend reflects significant shifts in lifestyle, fashion preferences, and cultural values — and there are several factors behind the transition. One of the primary reasons for the rise of athleisure fashion is its unparalleled comfort and functionality. Materials like spandex, nylon, and moisture-wicking fabrics provide a level of comfort that denim simply cannot match. Greater flexibility and breathability make it ideal for countless activities, like running from barre to brunch and beyond. As the general population prioritizes comfort in their daily life, athleisure wear has become more acceptable as daily wear and the preferred choice among the masses for casual attire. The growing emphasis on health and wellness has also fueled the popularity of athleisure. As more people engage in fitness activities and adopt active lifestyles, the demand for clothing that seamlessly transitions from the athletic club to everyday life has increased. With its blend of sporty and casual elements, athleisure is the perfect solution. Brands like Lululemon, Alo, and Vuori have capitalized by offering stylish, high-performance pieces that cater to both fitness enthusiasts and fashion- conscious consumers.

Athleisure’s versatility is also a big reason for its popularity. Leggings, joggers, and athletic tops can be easily dressed up or down, making them suitable for a wide range of occasions. A pair of form-fitting black leggings, for example, can be paired with a blazer and jewelry for a chic, office-appropriate look, or with a casual hoodie for a relaxed model-off-duty take.

And speaking of models, celebrity culture has also played a significant role in the rise of athleisure. High-profile figures such as Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Gigi Hadid have been spotted frequently in athleisure ensembles, often accessorized with high-end jewelry and designer handbags. Their influence has helped normalize and popularize the trend, making it aspirational for the general public. Social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok have amplified this trend, bringing seemingly endless athleisure- inspired outfits and styling tips to the masses.

Jewelry plays a crucial role in elevating athleisure from merely casual to undeniably chic. Simple yet sophisticated pieces, like minimalist gold necklaces, hoop earrings, and stackable rings, complement the clean lines and neutral tones often found in athleisure outfits. Statement jewelry can also add a touch of glamour to an otherwise understated look. Brands have recognized this synergy, designing jewelry collections that play well with the pared-back athleisure aesthetic.

AS LIFESTYLE AND FASHION CONTINUE TO EVOLVE, ATHLEISURE WEAR’S DOMINANCE IN THE CASUAL FASHION LANDSCAPE IS POISED TO ENDURE.

EXPERT ADVICE

T Today, world currencies depend on fleeting trends and digitization. So, how do you guarantee your wealth stands the test of time? Led by Chad Masters, our Coin & Bullion division provides more than access to precious metals — it offers security, stability, and peace of mind. We sat down with Chad to uncover why investing in gold and silver is not just a smart move but an essential one. Timeless Treasures unlocking WITH IDC’S COIN & BULLION DIVISION

How do you help clients decide whether to invest in gold or silver? It depends on their financial goals and liquidity needs. I usually suggest a mix — maybe 70 percent in gold and 30 percent in silver, depending on their situation. The conversation revolves around what they want to achieve and how much they want to invest. We provide guidance based on market trends and personal preferences, but we always emphasize a balanced approach.

Can you tell us about IDC Verified and its role in the Coin & Bullion division? IDC Verified is our way of ensuring authenticity and peace of mind for our clients. When you invest in precious metals like gold and silver, you want to be certain of their value. That’s why we encapsulate coins with our IDC Verified stamp, guaranteeing they meet our rigorous standards. This is how we build trust and give our clients confidence in what they purchase. With IDC, you’re not just making a purchase; you’re safeguarding your financial future, backed by our expertise and assurance. Whether you’re new to precious metals or a seasoned investor, IDC’s Coin & Bullion division is here to guide you every step of the way. Make your appointment with IDC today.

Why consider investing in precious metals? Precious metals have held their value for centuries. Gold and silver aren’t just commodities — they’re an insurance policy in times of financial uncertainty or when technology fails. Having physical assets like these gives you liquidity and security. Whether you’re planning for the long term or diversifying your portfolio, these metals provide stability.

YOUR STYLE WINDOW

bride what kind of are you ?

THREE WAYS TO STYLE “I DO.”

Planning a wedding is daunting, especially now that brides-to-be have infinite online inspiration at their fingertips. There are so many different types of weddings that it can be hard to know which approach is right. Will you start your happily-ever-after at a small backyard affair? A black-tie evening in a museum rotunda? Maybe a literary ceremony at a historic library? Before diving into tablescapes, rings, favors, and all the other fun details, it’s helpful for a bride to pick a theme for her wedding day. Do you see yourself as a traditional, modern, or romantic bride? Having one style in mind while planning helps ensure that every element of your wedding works beautifully together on the big day.

traditional

The traditional bride embraces the exquisite beauty of wedding classics. Her gown will be minimalist and magnificent. She’ll want a subdued color scheme that’s mostly neutrals, a bespoke tuxedo for her groom, and a matching bowtie for her well-behaved golden retriever. Everything will be refined and as wedding-ey as a wedding can be.

The venue for a traditional wedding will be elegant, perhaps a manicured garden with long banquet tables under the stars or a hotel with a stately ballroom and impeccable service. Guests should expect to shed a tear at the beauty of the couple’s flawlessly choreographed first dance and will most likely take home a high-end monogrammed wedding favor.

A traditional bride’s jewelry will be as sophisticated and tasteful as she is. Look to streamlined solitaires with hidden halos, emerald cut diamonds with impeccable color and clarity, or family heirloom stones reset to honor a new generation’s love story. Don’t forget a wedding band that matches the engagement ring — perhaps a band that’s tapered to fit against the specific ring for a seamless stack. Nothing too flashy, and always classy. Whatever the traditional bride chooses for her jewels, her ring will be timeless — an instant future heirloom.

modern

The modern bride is deeply in touch with her personal style and won’t hesitate to throw tradition out the window in favor of personalization. She might choose a colorful wedding dress or a sleek bridal jumpsuit, a cannoli cart instead of a cake, maybe even a dapper flower man slinging blooms as he bops down the aisle, instead of the typical teetering tot with a basket of petals.

A modern wedding is all about fun and freshness. The sky’s the limit for venue — sometimes literally, if the lovebirds are skydiving enthusiasts or hot air balloon lovers. Modern brides also love a location with an activity, like a fairground with a gorgeous carousel or a zoo where a penguin attends cocktail hour. Anything is possible for a modern bride’s jewelry. Her dream ring might have vibrant colored gems, especially with unusual stone

shapes and color combinations. She might also go for the cutting-edge technology of lab-grown diamonds, perhaps a gorgeous elongated marquise cut stone in an edgy east-west setting. Or she might decide to find a “man-gagement” ring to propose back to her partner — or even be the first to pop the question herself. One thing’s for sure, the modern bride will get exactly the ring she wants, regardless of anyone’s expectations.

romantic

The romantic bride takes the sentiment inherent in all weddings to a whole new level. Romance lives in the details: the notes of a particular love song heralding the bride’s entrance, references to the couple’s milestones in the table decor, or personalized vows that will make even the most stoic groomsman sniffle. The gown will likely involve lace, beading, embroidery, or all three.

As for the décor and venue? Think Bridgerton meets Disney princess. Everything will be soft and lush, with cascading florals in pink or purple and plenty of candles. It will be held at an old manor house or a hotel that feels like a castle (or an actual castle, if budget allows). There will absolutely be a guestbook, and friends and family shouldn’t hesitate to leave their most heartfelt messages. At the end of the evening, the couple might depart in a classic car or a horse-drawn carriage.

Vintage and vintage-inspired rings will win the romantic bride’s heart. Look for delicate embellishments, like filigree, engraving, and millegrain, as well as designs that carry symbolic meaning, like the two- stone toi-et-moi style that represents two becoming one, or a classic three-stone ring for past, present, and future. This couple will love the idea of engraving a secret message for each other inside their rings — and if the groom is smart, he’ll pick up a wedding day jewelry surprise to delight his romantic bride on the big day.

FAMILY MATTERS

By Annie Watson

Finding Balance CENTER’S BRIAN AND DANAE LECLERC WITH INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND

Brian and Danae Leclerc aren’t your average parents. Between raising four children (one of which is a newborn) and working with family at International Diamond Center (IDC) (Brian’s father, Keith, is the owner), the couple manages to lead a life that prioritizes health, balance, and most importantly, faith. Below, Brian shares everything from his detailed dai- ly routine (which includes a first-thing family cold plunge) to navigating family ownership. What does a “day in the life” look like? I wake up 6AM and spend time with the Lord in prayer. Following that, I wake up the kids, my wife returns from the gym, and we all jump in our cold plunge and the kids do some pull-ups. From there, my wife and I get the kids’ breakfast and lunches ready, I take the kids to Northside Christian and then hit the gym before heading to work. I start my workday requesting my day’s priorities from the inventory team, then I ask my father how he plans to spend his day. I’ll usually have my own list of things to do too, including pricing new goods from our African diamond site, pricing watches, matching diamonds for studs, building bracelets, replenishing stores, and processing estate goods that come in.

I usually leave work around 6:30PM and head home to play baseball, football, or soccer with my boys. How do find time to prioritize your health? I heard this line a while back: “If you don’t take care of yourself, how can someone expect you to take care of them?” That’s exactly how I see health with myself and my family — we make time for our health as a family by making the inconvenient extra effort to prioritize it, which means early morning cold plunges and working out when we don’t feel like it. We do our best to put things into our bodies that won’t compromise our health, which means buying from quality farms that verify their process transparently. We also make sure we have the correct supplementation in our routine. All of this is key to maintain peak condition in this very sick world we live in!

and great work ethic comes great favor on our business. I see so many people lose sight and focus on their family because all their attention is focused on being a success. I want to leave a legacy, but I won’t make that mistake. How do you support each other when things get hectic? With four kids, we are always going full speed, but that’s how we like it! We accept the challenge of adopting a full schedule, but we know the importance of quality time with one another. When that slips, we notice it feels like we’re running without aim, so we do our best to pick one another up and have each other’s back. Is there anything else you’d like to add? We are building something truly special at IDC. But it’s important to know where we’ve come from and that the level of favor on our business has come with great devotion and dedication to Jesus. We are a praying family that knows we have a higher calling than just success here on earth. Through a spirit of excel- lence, we believe we can accomplish anything!

How do you navigate the personal and professional aspects of family ownership?

By making my wife and family the number one priority. They allow me to do what I love, sometimes late into the night. I want them to see me as someone they are proud of. Also, I want them to see that with great faith in Jesus

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

By Jennifer Brugh

A SOLITARY LIFE

S Solitaires, characterized by their single, prominent diamond, are perennial favorites for brides, symbolizing elegance, simplicity, and enduring love. Yet the diamond shape within these timeless settings makes all the difference. Brides gravitate towards shapes that mirror their personal style and aesthetic preferences, whether classic, romantic, modern, or bold. But what makes the solitaire so appealing? The answer lies in its design — its classic simplicity allows the diamond, no matter the shape, to take center stage, showcasing its brilliance and quality without distraction. Today’s brides are bold and adventurous but still desire elegance and luxury in their engagement rings. And when it comes to diamond shapes, they’re chasing that WOW factor. This is why we see them drawn to more bold and unique diamond shapes.

While the classic round cut, known for its brilliant sparkle, is always a crowd favorite, today’s couples also gravitate toward the elegant pear, which offers a unique teardrop silhouette. The radiant cut is another intriguing choice, combining brilliant facets with a sleek rectangular shape, while the oval is favored for its elongated elegance. Lastly, the marquise, with its distinctive pointed ends and maximized carat weight, remains a bold and eye-catching choice. Solitaire engagement rings symbolize a pure, unadorned commitment. The single diamond represents the singular focus and dedication of the relationship, making it a deeply meaningful choice for couples who value the symbolic aspects of their ring.

Round: The Classic Bride Renowned for its brilliance, the round diamond maximizes light reflection and sparkles with unrivaled shimmer.

Oval: The Modern Sophisticate Carat for carat, oval diamonds create an elongated illusion, giving the appearance of a larger stone compared to rounds.

Radiant: The Trendsetter Radiants combine the sparkle of round cuts with the structured elegance of emerald cuts, living in a trendy category all its own.

Pear: The Romantic Dreamer The pear’s teardrop shape offers a unique and romantic aesthetic, perfect for the dreamer.
