BASQUE WAISTS
The Victorian era of the 1800s has always influenced today’s designers, and the basque waist is no different. A spin-off on the popular drop waist trend, the basque waist offers an even more flattering silhouette. Defined with either a U- or V-shaped dip at the waistline, this style helps create a sculpted look thanks to the curve of the fabric.

CAT-EYE NECKLINES
The cat-eye neckline is defined by the sharp and angular edges pointing up towards the shoulders. Haute couture dresses for formal- wear and now bridal-wear are dominating the modern bride scene. Paired with the basque waist, it offers additional drama and allure. The cat-eye neckline works wonderfully with a statement necklace as the main attraction.
