THE JOURNEY CONTINUES While she now holds the title of oldest GSU graduate, Joyce is most proud of her precious titles of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She’s navigated all the ups and downs that come with being a wife and mother, all the while, never losing the spark that her family adores and everything that makes her a fierce, strong woman. Since graduating, Joyce has taken time to focus on her family, showering them with the kind of love only a mother can give. Each and every day, Penny says she continues to be amazed and inspired by her mother, who, of course, shows no signs of slowing down and even wants to get into the fine arts appraising business.
Like so many mothers and mother figures, Joyce Lowenstein is a reflection of endless love, passion, determination, strength, and fearlessness. She is the true embodiment of what it means to never give up on your dreams, and proof that a mother’s journey never ends.
