BRIAN FAULKNER GET TO KNOW THE FINK’S JEWELERS FAMILY

Brian Faulkner , Store Manager Fink’s Jewelers Durham, NC (919) 281-8407 • Brian.Faulkner@finks.com

B rian Faulkner was recently promoted to the Store Manager position at the Fink’s Jewelers in Durham, NC, after completing our Management Training Program. With a strong background in customer experience and service, Brian’s skills complement the customer-and family-centric culture here at Fink’s. We are excited to see him grow with the company in this new role! Brian says, “Prior to working at Fink’s Jewelers, I worked at the Porsche dealership in Richmond, VA. There, I was the Customer Experience Manager, where my role was to ensure that all customers had an amazing experience (sales and service). I also had the pleasure of being a customer of Fink’s for nearly 15 years before I was recruited to join the team.” CLIENT TURNED MANAGER Vicki Robinson and I worked on my wife’s engagement ring together for about six months. The day after my honeymoon, she called me and said, “We need to have a chat.” One thing led to another, and in June of last year, I joined the sales team at the Short Pump Town Center location in Richmond. A LEADER FROM THE START Right away, I was put into the Management Training Program. I think my background in customer relations and experience had a lot to do with that. I knew management was the goal, but I didn’t

think it would happen so quickly. I started the program on my first day and have served as the Store Manager of the Streets of Southpoint in Durham since May. LEARNING A NEW INDUSTRY Managing a strong team and making sure customers have a great experience comes very naturally to me. At Fink’s, I’m surrounded by true experts, seasoned in the industry and full of knowledge. I can say that being a part of Fink’s is a lot more exciting and light-hearted. Here, you get to be a part of big celebrations and see families at nearly every stage of life. It’s a humbling and exciting experience. We really stress that family-owned, family-centric atmosphere here!

NO ONE REALLY KNOWS… I played professional soccer (fútbol) in Spain from 2012-2013 for Yeclano

Deportivo in Yecla. It was right after I finished my graduate studies in Iowa, and a friend of mine got me a tryout. If it weren’t for the European Economic Crash of 2012, I would have stayed on and played a lot longer. But the club had to let go of its highest-paid players, its lowest-paid players, and any foreign players at that time. Unfortunately, I checked two of those boxes.
