Forever Favorites Building a jewelry collection is a personal journey of discovery that can lead to an eclectic mix of treasures: the carefully sourced power necklace for the time you hosted a charity ball, a deeply cherished one-of-a-kind ring that belonged to your mother, or that pair of over-the-top tassel earrings that move and shimmer with your every step. Eventually, however, we all return to earth, to the pieces that carry us gently through our everyday lives with grace and elegance and remind us of the importance of the basics. Here are some foundational pieces that represent the must-haves.

DIAMOND EARRINGS There is nowhere in this universe that a pair of diamond earrings would be out of place. Wear them to the gym, the office, or to dinner, and they always look like they belong. Inside-out hoops encrusted with diamonds come in an array of sizes, so you can find your perfect fit. Modern takes on the classic diamond stud earrings include embellishing them with colored gemstones or pearl drops, using fancy-shaped diamonds, such as pears or square princess cuts, or surrounding them with a halo. Whatever style you choose, your diamond earrings will live aside each cheek to radiate light like your own personal stars from the sky!

SIMPLE SOLITAIRES & LONG LENGTHS What could be more classic than a simple diamond solitaire necklace or a stunning, long diamonds-by-the-inch necklace? Never out of style, the simple diamond necklace can be worn with tees or tuxedos or layered with other necklaces of different lengths, textures, and colors for a more dramatic look. To incorporate a modern twist, set your diamond necklace with a pear-shaped or a marquise-cut diamond, rather than a classic round brilliant. Opting for rose or yellow gold settings can also set your solitaire necklace away from the crowd.

BRACELETS Ever since Chrissy Evert dubbed her riviera- style diamond line bracelet the “tennis bracelet,” it has been a classic in the lexicon of American jewelry. Today, it can be set with alternating gems, like sapphires or emeralds, or even a rainbow of colored gems. High-polished well- fitted gold bracelets with subtle embellishments are also a great everyday option. Can’t decide which one to wear today? Stacking also works. Layer multiple bracelets together, because the only thing better than one beautiful bracelet is a whole armful!
