IDC Jewelry Magazine 2022_2023

Brother-in-laws, Brian LeClerc and Brian Stamey, travel to visit the diamond mining communities in Africa.

W elcome to the 7th annual issue of IDC Magazine, where we showcase some of our favorite new collections we have in store for you and give you a closer look into the diamond, jewelry, and watch industry. Beyond our showcases being filled, this time of year always causes us to be grateful, and giving back is a guiding principle in our family business. This summer, my brother-in-law, Brian Leclerc and I traveled to Africa to see a mine we trust as our diamond source. We feel a huge responsibility to ensure every diamond we buy is ethically and responsibly sourced and the foundations of employment, healthcare, and education are being properly administered in our mining areas of Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. Through our Fifth C Foundation, IDC is able to help sponsor several classrooms at a K-12 school in Soweto, and next year we plan on sponsoring the entire school. Closer to home, we are grateful for our IDC family of employees — you’ll see on page 12 that we celebrated together at a fun event this year. We are also proud of the work we do locally — shown on page 54 — to help and educate youth through our support of New Life Solutions’ outreach programs. But first and foremost, we are thankful for you! Without our loyal customers and friends, none of what we do would be possible.

Not much brings us more joy than helping you select special gifts to celebrate the holidays and all the many moments in your life worth commemorating with special gifts, year-round. We wish you happy holidays and a new year full of promise and opportunity.

From our family to yours,

Brian Stamey, Vice President
